Auvergne Hotels with Parking

AMAZING : a cosy place in a private garden, with a small but nice swimming pool. the rooms and lobby are Art deco style with old typewritters, ski, vacuum cleaners, furnitures everywhere. a billard to enjoy in the evening.... you are not in an hotel, you are in a manor. the owner it delightfull, the breakfast is amazing (french style).

After a miserable experience in Lyon in one of the big network hotels, this one was a true relief. Situated in a quiet-ish area but very close to all the main sites, it truly has a theme going on for it.  Spacious rooms, exquisite breakfast with local produce and very attentive staff, all were present during our stay. The view from the breakfast terrace is to die for.  The only complaint would be about the questionable bathroom solution which really degrades one’s privacy when travelling as a couple. The bathroom itself has neither a door, nor a curtain. And the toilette lacks a bide/hygienic shower.  Overall, i’d definitely recommend staying here.

The room was clean and had a beautiful arched window but the air con was useless and as there was a heat wave this made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, they were unable to provide ice cubes which seemed bizarre given their star rating. Finally, confusion over pricing. 18 euros for breakfast and 9 euros for parking but room directory says 13 and 6. Updating a room directory is hardly difficult. So service needs to be improved.

Majoituimme ”off-season”-aikana ja tulimme hotelliin myöhään illalla, oli hieman vaikeaa löytää koko paikkaa. Päästyämme perille oli pieni pettymys, ettei ravintola ollutkaan auki, joten jouduimme vielä lähtemään autolla ruokaostoksille. Ystävällinen vastaanottohenkilö lupasi kuitenkin meille sauna/porealtaan käytön, josta nautimme kovasti. Huone oli tilava ja sänky oli hyvä. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin pöytään ja se oli erinomainen. Kaiken kaikkiaan erikoinen ja mieleenjäävä kokemus.

Personal super friendly and helpful. For French conditions somewhat clean. Toilet glasses loose and yellow, no toilet brushes, shower with dark spots. I will not book this hotel anymore and can not recommend it (because our room is not recommended).

We stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop on our journey back from southern Spain, and overall it was a good experience. The location is excellent, especially for travelers, as it is very close to the highway. Being able to charge my car at the hotel was a big advantage and made our stop much more convenient. The breakfast was decent, although not very extensive. The only disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast service. The staff gave us the impression that we needed to hurry because breakfast was ending at 9:30 AM. At around 9:20 AM, a staff member informed us in French that the buffet was about to close. I did not understand what was being said, and before I could ask for clarification, the staff member walked away. Fortunately, a fellow traveler translated the message for me. Apart from this issue, everything else was perfectly fine. For a one-night stopover during a long journey, this hotel offers good value, a convenient location, and useful facilities such as EV charging. I would consider staying here again when passing through the area.

We were very happy with the hotel. The situation close to the motorway was excellent with fuel and a bakery handy the next morning before starting to travel again . The bed was comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised to have Canal + for the football and BBC 2 to watch.

We couldn't sleep all night because it was so hot in the room. No fan available at reception. I don't understand why this establishment doesn't provide enough fans to satisfy customers. The room was small as was the bathroom. We have already stayed in an Elko hotel in CDG, very good, spacious with 2 single beds. Turning around in the bathroom was complicated. But not the worst. The worst was the heat. A little extra for the friendly and understanding staff. We were able to fill our water bottles with fresh water by asking at reception in the morning. But the night left us feeling angry. I would have preferred to sleep outside because it was so unbearable!!!!!

A good hotel if you came with car. Super close to the highway. Next to the hotel there is a good restaurant and with discount! The only disadvantage was that the hotel don’t have a terrace to take the breakfast with our dog. Although, the receptionist gave us the option to take it to our room. The staff was kind and one receptionist talk with us in spanish. Super friendly!

The host is a nice and professional host. The room has a comfortable bed and an optimal arrangement. The room is quiet and well heated. The breakfast is shown in the average of hotel franchises standards. Finally, a great price-quality ratio!
