Nnigel ashleyLovely pub style hotel in glorious surroundings. Food is excellent. The rooms are rather small but functional. By the way, if both of you are over 80 kgs, I suggest two beds. As this is Northumberland, you will find the drying room a great find. The brewery bar is really good. Enjoy the Hadrian Wall close by.

GGuest UserStaff were friendly and informative. Food was delicious although a limited selection. Rooms were clean, tidy and had god ensuite facilities. Would recommend for short stays for couples, friends, etc. not really suitable for families with young children.
