GGuest UserPRO: Great hotel. nice and clean. comfy bed. Blackout curtains. good brekkie.(extra paid). Aldi next door for room snacks. Pub next door for drinkies. old victorian pub as well for ambiance if you want it. 24hr parking only £8 which is very reasonable in todays rip off parking Britain.
CONS: Although it looks like its next to the statiion on a map, its not. you have to walk around and under an underpass . About Half a mile. on cobbles, with a case. That said, once in, its right on the outskirts of town which is good ( via another underpass). Price for a budget hotel was a bit steep. £100 for the night without brekkie.
GGuest UserThe house built in early 1856, and later expanded several times, a very classical hotel. The room is small and there is no extra decoration. The surrounding area is full of residential houses. It is a ten-minute walk from the nearest small supermarket. A young lady at the bar smiled every day and was very enthusiastic. Hot breakfast is good.
