Amazing
Aafrica ChenVery, very satisfactory hotel, although it looks small, and the external three-star rating. But I think this hotel is much better than three stars. The characteristic is that the location is too good, right next to the amphitheater. Another is that the breakfast is very good. The small room is not a problem for me. It can be seen that the management of this hotel is also very good. The occupancy rate is very high.

Great
LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as Iâm an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city â most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) â I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated â the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the cityâs history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories Iâd carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. Sheâs super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didnât eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if thatâs something you like then youâd be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (Iâm petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe theyâre scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so itâd be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

Great
AAnonymous UserThe bed & breakfast, the room, and the service all are top-notch.
BUT the location really is NOT the best especially if youâre traveling alone: 20+ minutes from old town by walking, didnât feel safe to do the walk alone at night (even in the daylight I switched to the other side of the pedestrian walk to avoid crowds that made me feel uncomfortable). On Sunday, not many places opened for breakfast. If Iâd visit Verona again, Iâd stay in the old town.
GGrandmasterWe stayed at Novo Rossi Verona and were absolutely delighted!
The hotel is conveniently located â just a few minutesâ walk from the train station and not far from the city center. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and everything needed for a pleasant stay.
Special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff â they were always ready to assist and give great local tips. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh pastries, fruit, and excellent coffee.
Thereâs parking nearby, which is very convenient if youâre traveling by car. Overall, itâs a perfect combination of price, comfort, and service.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Verona!
PPei ShanAt first, I was hesitant to book this hotel because of the limited reviews. I wasn't sure whether to choose this one or another 4-star hotel, but in the end, I went with this hotel due to its proximity to the train station (1 km) and better rates. To my surprise, everything was greatâthe room was a good size and very clean. There's also an elevator to reach the rooms, so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage up stairs. staff are friendly too , they will recommend you where to visit in Verona.
The downside, however, is that the room's soundproofing isn't very strong. I could hear people running or walking in the corridor outside. Additionally, the room key is a traditional key with a heavy keychain, rather than a key card. But it wasn't a major issue for me, as you can leave the key at the reception. The breakfast was decent for the price.

GGuest UserThe location is good, in 15 minutes you can walk to most of the attractions and restaurants. Staff is very nice. The room is spacious enough for our family of 3. There is even a jacuzzi in the bathroom but just no time to try it! Verona is a city full of young people. Can see groups of students everywhere. Not just going to touch the famous Juliette's breast!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is very good, the room is very spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and the refrigerator is large. The washing machine is very Italian, working once, and resting for 30 minutes. There is no washing powder in the room and you need to bring your own. It is best to provide wifi password in the room, contacted many times, until leaving, and did not connect to wifi.
GGuest UserRoom is big with fancy decorations but some places still have many dust. Got small fridge , only 1 lift is working when we reached. 1.5km away from train station which is not really convenient by walking because the roas not really smooth, hurts your luggage
BBrazziSmall room and in a lofty undertouch for a night is well, a bad common point, cleaning ok but it could be a little more ordered.
Gentle and available management
