Yugawara Hotels with Parking

Tucked into the foothills of Hakone, in a quiet village along Yugawara Parkway, we found this small villa surrounded by greenery and the sound of a nearby stream. But what stayed with me wasn’t the villa—it was us. The kids ran straight to the deck, reaching out to catch the falling cherry blossom petals as they drifted onto the water, arguing over who caught the most before they slipped through their fingers. Someone left the door open, letting the cool air drift in. By evening, we were all gathered upstairs, half-talking, half-listening to the steady rhythm of the stream below. No one reached for their phones. Later that night, we slept with the windows open. You could hear the water, constant and calming, like it had always been there. It’s strange—places fade, but moments like this don’t. The quiet, the laughter, the feeling of having nowhere else to be. That’s what I’ll remember. 

Excellent experience at Fujiya Ryoukan in Yugawara! Please update the following on trips.com: Address is wrong. It took me up the mountain 10 miniutes away from the Ryoukan. Please use address as seen on google maps: Japan, 〒259-0314 Kanagawa, Ashigarashimo District, Yugawara, Miyakami, 字橋上557. Otherwise you should be able to find it by searching ”Fujiya Ryoukan Yugawara”. Also please edit check out time. Check is not 10am but 11am.

This is my first time to experience this kind of pure Japanese-style hotel. Although I only stayed there for one night in a hurry, the experience was very rich and colorful. The service staff was warm and considerate. Although we relied almost entirely on translation machines and body language, it did not affect our communication. The aunt who was responsible for taking care of us would patiently help us change our clothes, remind us to appreciate the cherry blossoms, and ask us where to go. It felt like my own relatives were taking care of the children who came to travel. This is probably the meaning of a family hotel. Dinner and breakfast were very delicious and sufficient! The girls really couldn't finish it! When I learned that someone of us had a birthday, I got a handwritten blessing card, which was very touching! Our friends agreed to stay more time to come here next time!

It is convenient near the station. The room was clean and spacious 々 and it was a very nice space. The view from the window was good and I was able to spend comfortably. Speaking of greed, I felt that the shower room was small 々 small. Maybe I didn't use it well, but the door of the shower room didn't close tightly, so the water leaked from the gap, and the foot wipe outside the door became a little bit.

The food is average. There is a hot spring in the room, which is very good. The hotel staff are not very good in English and Japanese. I don't know what language to speak to communicate smoothly. Overall good. Recommended for guests who value privacy

Because I took my daughter to see the fireworks meeting, I didn't wear a bathrobe, so I asked the hotel waiter for help. Originally hopeless last help, but got a positive and enthusiastic response and help: a hotel work grandmother to help my daughter wear, like a granddaughter as enthusiastic, dressed and a big Kwakawai; A foreign lady named Suzumi (maybe Indian?) helped translate, and she helped to find a way and communicate before and after, until we completed this successful trip. Now everything is efficient, and it is difficult to judge whether the service is good or bad. I had a self drink and I didn't have any trouble, so I wonder if the service is good? Since there is only one open-air bath, it is difficult to go without waiting for the replacement time. The hot spring was good.

The location is quite remote. I walked there when I went there and almost gave up. Fortunately, there was a shuttle from the hotel to the station when I left. But the overall experience was pretty good, and the people in the store were very friendly.
