GGuest UserBeautiful surrounding and very friendly staff. A hidden gem definitely worth a visit when travelling in Douro valley. The rooms and the whole house is super clean, atmosphere is perfect and they make superb breakfast and daily changing dinners. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

BBantigThe hotel is greatly located with nice view. The unusual architecture and very nice facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas. The presence of the parking lots and EV charging station are also very attractive. Ideal place for tranquil escape from the city noise. A lot of wineries are around.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very expensive , with a lot of charm and very elegant but it has several aspects to improve , in the restaurant , although it has a lot of employees noticed a lack of care and are very long losing if in the conversation and are not aware of the client . The cleaning staff are very nice, but in the spa, although you have to mark to go to the pool, that doesn't make a great sense since then there is no staff. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. The hotel is very good for the vineyards.

LLAGGreat facilities. We went with half board. And it doesn't pay off. After knowing the prices, we would have paid less for dinner if we paid on the day.
We went on the weekend and the hotel was full. It's a large hotel and we didn't like the experience from that point of view.
The objective is to relax and have a different experience, but we ended up having to wait to enter the Turkish bath, sauna and swimming pools, which became unfeasible, as they looked like municipal swimming pools.
full of people. About the staff, the girls at the restaurant and at breakfast (who are the same) are very helpful and friendly. The same can no longer be said for the reception staff. Little willingness to help with such simple things, such as lending a mere phone charger, easily resolved by the dining room staff.
In short, it is a hotel with conditions, but I find it very confusing when it is full, something that I believe is common at the weekend.
