Great
GGuest UserPark and Pool Resort is really nice, clean and easy access with a grab. Very close to the bus or train station. Easy access to cross the Laos border. The garden is so peaceful and beautiful and the breakfast is great. It’s a great break on your travel to Laos. I would recommend this place without hesitation.
GGlen scottHad an overnight stay at this Hotel, the bed was very comfortable and room was very nice. We had food at night on viewing platform and food was very nice, not a great selection of beer.
JJETSADA264515Royal Nakara Hotel is near the checkpoint and is convenient to travel to. The room is okay, but the bathroom needs improvement. The hot water doesn't work. You have to shower with cold water. The rating is not good. I'd like to see improvements.
GGuest UserStaff good. Swimming pool to many children from outside use the pool so can swim 🏊♀️ or lay in the sun 🌞 and enjoy. Bathroom could do with cleaning and maintenance. Very nice coffee ☕️ shop 😋. Breakfast OK Thailand style 👌.
GGuest UserThe room price is good, it's considered cheap, located in the center of Nong Khai city, close to Tha Sadet Market. It's a bit of a problem, there's no elevator, but that's understandable.
SSiraprapha AkharamankhongwanitThe hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly, smiling, and helpful throughout my stay.
The rooms were spacious, the beds were soft and comfortable, and the location was great for getting around.
The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, making it good value for money.
The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation.
JJETSADA264515When I work in Nong Khai, I like to stay at this hotel because it's affordable, close to tourist attractions, department stores, the city, and the bus station between Udon Thani and Nong Khai provinces. You can also take a taxi to the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the border. It's very convenient, but sometimes the room smells, maybe from the toilet bowl or sometimes the toilet cleaner. But it's worth the price, which is 590 baht if you order through Thip, but 550 baht if you walk in.
ZZaq MosherI'm giving it 5 stars because the service is examplary. I was heading to Laos via the Thai railway and then walking across the friendship bridge. They picked me up from the railway station in the evening and dropped me off at the bridge in the morning for free. They even made me a Jok moo I requested in the morning. Tho, the quality of the pork could have been better. It was basically a cut up hotdog.
The room was comfortable, but two small things that could have made it perfect. The hot water didn't work in the bathroom. It turned on, but didn't heat the water. Their was also a bright white porch light that shined through the window all night that I couldn't figure out how to turn off. None of the switches I could find controlled it. 🤷♂️
GGuest UserStayed here for a couple of nights and honestly thought it was great value for money. The place is clean, quiet, and comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day of travelling. Staff were easygoing and helpful without being over the top, which I really appreciated.
It’s not a luxury hotel, but everything works as it should. Wi-Fi was solid, the room was spacious enough, and the atmosphere was relaxed. For the price, you really can’t complain. Would happily stay here again if I’m back in Nong Khai.
FFoo Sze WongLocation is a bit off the beaten path but has ample parking. Air con was cold and heater was hot. Room is clean and towels folded like a fan. No kettle in the room but has hot water at the reception. Shower head in a lousy direction got my floor rug all wet. Room is big and bed is comfortable with clean sheets and pillows nice too.
