Anonymous UserThe bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.
The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay.
The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding.
The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Your Jamaican GirlThe Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed.
The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏
The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access).
The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂
The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few.
It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach.
It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. You can thank me later❤️❤️❤️

The three meals were very good, the pool was beautiful, the beach and the sea were perfect. The band performances by the pool at night were very high quality and the atmosphere was great. On Saturdays, we caught up with the beach dinner and the Masai show. The room was large, the waiters were friendly and the service was good

Cooper We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Every morning I was able to do yoga on the beach with my own yoga mat. From the resort you can walk right into the water. The food here was excellent. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The only downside is that it is beside a club that plays relatively loud music from around 3 PM to around 10 PM. We were there from Friday to Sunday, so perhaps they don’t play during the weekdays. I am still happy to give them a really good rating because the music turned off at 10 PM when we were ready to go to sleep. The only other thing I would add is they list a gym as part of their amenities but they have just wooden barbells and a covered space. However, their pool is really nice and their Jacuzzi was quite a treat after swimming in the ocean.

Guest UserThe scenery is truly stunning, the hotel is beautifully designed, and with few guests, it's quiet and serene, making it an immersive getaway.
Disadvantages: The room amenities and furniture are a bit dated, not quite up to 5-star standards.
Service is acceptable.
The menu could be improved with a buffet-style dinner menu for a more authentic feel.

Dave travel expertThis hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

I had an amazing stay at Nungwi Beach Front Hotel in Zanzibar! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the ocean views and relax by the water. The hotel was impressively clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they made us feel right at home. While the amenities weren’t quite five-star, they were more than enough for a comfortable stay. The lack of a TV and the occasional power outages didn’t bother us at all, as it gave us the perfect opportunity to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time together. Plus, it was very affordable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, authentic Zanzibar experience!

My friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms.
In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎

The hotel is very conveniently located. Beautiful road to the beach, through the restaurant. Ledges and umbrellas are free at the hotel. The beach towels are issued on the respiratory. Near this hotel the widest part of the beach, so to swim, you need to forgive about 50 m on soft white sand. You can lie at the ocean on a towel, but there you are tortured by local ”fake massai,” very obsessive but safe. So it is better to lie on the territory of the hotel, and to swim, it is impossible to pass. In the ocean itself I didn't leave things, For security purposes, on the lying - calmly.
Breakfasts are delicious. The juice is freshly squeezed, every day different. Fruit plate, toasts, pancakes and eggs with different supplements (سوسيس, beef, mushrooms, beans ...).
The prices at the restaurant at the hotel are slightly more expensive than in other cafes, if eating in the afternoon, there are lots of flies and attacking food, in the morning they are not.
(I walked next to, left of the beach Furana restaurant, there is no flies, delicious and beautiful!!!)
When the electricity is off, there is a generator in the hotel, without electricity you won't stay. There were no problems with water too, a little weak pressure only.
You must buy a passerby, English railroads. Otherwise you will not be able to charge the phone when you arrive.
Staff - just super! Girls on the respiratory and maids delicious! Thank you!
The number is simple, but generally normal, given that it is Africa, the extracts are not waiting.
The air conditioner worked well. Feng was.
The hotel is mostly foreigners, from Russian I was one, but in the neighboring Tropicana there are a lot of compatriots.
To clean the room, the key is left on the recipe.
Water can also be taken every day on the respiratory.
I liked the hotel! I can definitely say I would return here! Price is quality!
Now I moved to Nungvi - I don't like it here, the beach is much worse, with lying problems, lots of boats in the sea and the crowd stick. And the prices in restaurants are not cheaper than in Kendwa.
If you are interested in the beach and the ocean is definitely Kendwa. If you rest with children, Kendwa too!
