This hotel is incredibly beautiful, with a rich and amazing atmosphere! It's located on one of the most stunning beaches, Kendwa Beach! We were very happy with our stay here. The rooms are all clean and lovely, with everything you need, including air conditioning, so you won't be hot! Housekeeping is daily, and the hotel grounds are huge, with lots of plants and walking areas. The large restaurant serves incredibly delicious food! In the morning, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast with a huge variety of incredibly tasty dishes. In the evenings, the restaurant prepares amazing meals! My recommendation is to try their fish of the day and BBQ shrimp, as well as the Idaho rolls – absolutely delicious! Every evening, dinner is accompanied by some kind of show, performance, songs, or dancing! This really adds to the wonderful atmosphere of the place! The hotel has direct access to the beach, which is incredibly convenient! There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach, enough for all guests. The hotel is perfect for those who love a quiet and peaceful vacation, as everything here is designed for guests' comfort. They also congratulated us on a holiday, which was very touching and pleasant! A huge thank you to the hotel for their work and hospitality! We will definitely come back here again!

The bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding. The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. An amazing hotel, with unforgettable experience great service and the amenities are perfect for a couples getaway. A perfect getaway to connect with nature and your loved ones. Best birthday weekend ever! The staff were warm, welcoming, and full of joy 🤗. My beachfront room was breathtaking, waking up to the ocean was pure bliss. Huge thanks to the team on 31.08.25 for making my birthday so special with songs and a beautiful cake. Asanteni sana! 💜

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Every morning I was able to do yoga on the beach with my own yoga mat. From the resort you can walk right into the water. The food here was excellent. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The only downside is that it is beside a club that plays relatively loud music from around 3 PM to around 10 PM. We were there from Friday to Sunday, so perhaps they don’t play during the weekdays. I am still happy to give them a really good rating because the music turned off at 10 PM when we were ready to go to sleep. The only other thing I would add is they list a gym as part of their amenities but they have just wooden barbells and a covered space. However, their pool is really nice and their Jacuzzi was quite a treat after swimming in the ocean.

The hotel fell short of 5-star standards due to inconsistent service. Key issues: • Our booked seafront suite was unavailable on the first night due to overbooking (later cited as maintenance), and we were placed in a family house with unused amenities like a kitchen and extra rooms. • Service was lacking: staff were friendly but unhelpful. One left us at the buffet without seating us, and another failed to explain the substitute accommodation’s facilities. Shower gel was missing on the first night. Positives include: • Beautiful seafront suite and restaurant. • Large swimming pool with a scenic view and an enjoyable coached workout session. • Varied breakfast and dinner options. • Manager Maurine was helpful, though she seemed the only one resolving issues. Overall, poor service significantly diminished the experience, falling below 5-star expectations.

Nice hotel, but receptionists refuse my request to check in early and i was seriously sick that day they keep me in lobby almost 3hrs no one care  My friend was reminded them about my condition but no any action from front desk

Amazing stay! I wished I had found this place before my previous booking. A mistake in my arrival date forced me to look around the area to find another hotel when I found Amaan hotels. Best choice ever! Great service, location right by the beach, breakfast buffet was a feast and the rooms have all you need after a day by the beach and pool. I would definitely choose this hotel again!! Perfect for all types of travellers!!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎
