We spent 5 nights in around Christmas time when we were visiting a family member studying at UC Berkeley. It was conveniently located to visit the university. Since it was holiday season, we can't tell if it's always quiet, but we didn't hear any noise at night. The room was nice enough. Clean, well proportioned. We could cast Netflix from our phone. We didn't eat any meals there (the breakfast cafe was closed and the bar/restaurant was mostly closed). But one evening, we had two glasses of wine from the bar. It was served in the bar room, but they only had a wagon with open bottles of wine and plastic cups. It was shockingly expensive - we could easily buy a good bottle for the price of these two plastic cups (not even particularly generous). One other thing that bothered us was that they had a glass door to the bathroom. It was opaque enough so that we didn't see through it, but every time one of us used it at night, it brightened the whole bedroom. Also, whatever anyone did in the bathroom was very clearly audible from the bedroom. So, the best points for this hotel were location and reasonable price (for the room). Not for those who want luxury and comfort.

It was a very nice stay, everyone was really friendly. Beds were really comfortable and room was clean.

My recent stay at Fremont Marriott was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel's location was convenient, the accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, one aspect of my stay that truly stood out was the breakfast. The hotel's breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste. But what really caught my attention was the omelette station. The omelette chef was incredibly skilled and attentive, creating custom omelettes to order with a wide selection of fillings. Each omelette was cooked to perfection, with a fluffy texture and flavorful fillings that made every bite a treat. I had the pleasure of trying several different combinations, and each one was better than the last. The quality of the ingredients was also noteworthy. Fresh eggs, a variety of cheeses, and an assortment of vegetables and meats were all on offer, ensuring that every omelette was a delicious and nutritious start to the day. Overall, my stay at Fremont Marriott was fantastic, and the breakfast omelette was a standout feature that made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Fremont Marriott to anyone looking for a comfortable and delicious stay in the area.

Located next to UC Berkeley, just a few minutes' walk from the West Entrance, and with Trader Joe's right across the street, it's very convenient for buying daily necessities.

The room was quite large, with drinking water available. The coffee machine was clean and limescale-free. The only drawback was that the small bottle of shampoo was half full upon check-in. I guess the staff forgot to replace it, but since I brought my own, this was negligible. The hotel is close to the street, so they provided earplugs. The breakfast was simple but filling, with good coffee and several yogurt options. The staff was very welcoming. The area is quite lively, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. Highly recommended.

The cleanliness is good! They vacuum and clean every day. Although the facilities are old, they are well maintained.

Doesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time

In Auckland, not far from Oracle Stadium, surrounded by graffiti. 🚗 Traffic: Convenient, 🍃 Environment: General, old facilities 🔔 Service: OK, breakfast is too simple. Suitable for passing by.

We encountered several issues during our stay that significantly impacted our experience. On the first day, we had a minor disagreement with the housekeeping staff after requesting a second towel for our two-guest room, which had only been provided with one face towel. The cleaning staff member on the 4th floor argued with one of the guests rather than accommodating the simple request. The following day, we placed all used towels outside the door for collection, but no fresh towels were returned. When we inquired with another housekeeper, she explained that towels were likely still being laundered and might be available around 1 PM. We went fishing for the day and returned in the evening expecting to shower and clean up, but still had no towels. I reported the issue to the front desk, and ultimately we chose to leave approximately 20 hours early simply so we could go home and bathe. Despite this, we were charged the full rate for a room that had no air conditioning, no phone to contact the front desk, and where only 1 out of 5 ice machines was operational.
