Breakfast is varied and the enu changes every day
The room is clean and the location is good
But the air conditioner is not well controlled. It's too hot or too cold.

I know that reviews seldom lead to any improvements, but hopefully this one will help save someone some money if they were planning on staying here.
The young man at the counter named Sean was very pleasant and efficient. That was the highlight of the stay.
The hotel is dated, but that doesn’t bother me as long as it’s maintained, as this property USED to be. Now, clearly there are different owners with a much lower standard of cleanliness.
On the surface, it appears clean, but if you look closer, you can tell that the details aren’t there. It’s the start of a slide backwards into unclean and unsanitary conditions that often occurs when those with lower cleanliness standards run a hotel.
The shower floor was almost black. It was clear that it hadn’t been scrubbed or thoroughly cleaned in a long time
The breakfast was sad, paltry and meager. There was some bread, a generic flaked cereal, an odd steamed egg substance and greasy, unappealing sausage patties. There was a waffle iron, but the mixture tasted funny.
The coffee is in an automatic type machine. It tasted horrid and was lukewarm coming out. Based on the lack of cleanliness in the rest of the hotel, I doubt this complex coffee machine is regularly sanitized.
The bed was hard. That may appeal to some, but it was very uncomfortable to me. The pillows are small little throw pillow sized things with no shape or support.
Spend $30 more and go right up the road to the Holiday Inn or Hampton. You’ll be glad you did.
