Beaufort County Hotels with Parking

Wonderful hotel within walking distance to the river and historic neighborhoods. They kept my bag for a few hours while I wandered around downtown after check out. The hotel gave me two vouchers for free drinks/snacks at their attached cafe which was wonderful. They also put free chocolate chip cookies on my door handle! The only downside for me was that the room had a strong (but not unpleasant) perfume fragrance and sometimes you could hear the traffic at night. But it's worth the location and hey, better than smelling like bleach. I'd stay here again 👌

The Emerald is a very nice boutique hotel in Beaufort, SC. The location was very convenient to the downtown and historic point district. The room was comfortable with good amenities. I suggest adding at least one chair in the room and furniture for the cute outdoor balcony. I booked through Trip Advisor but I had to call to get the facility and room check in code on day of arrival.

The front desk was always pleasant and very friendly. Their breakfast was hot; however, it was hard to get any food because of children running back and forth. A good idea would have a sign up to have children under age 12 to be accompanied by adults. Other than that we would stay here again.

Room was clean and well-appointed. Housekeeping staff were excellent, in frequency of attention and in quality of their work. Front desk staff were helpful and pleasant even at busiest times. Breakfast provided was fine and daily choices I appreciated. Appreciated healthful options available daily (oatmeal, fresh fruit available at breakfast and apples (wrapped to reduce hand contact) and bottled water at front desk throughout the day and other popular breakfast items (bagels, waffles, omelets, etc that I don't choose to eat) are also provided. I did not utilize other on site amenities (exercise room, etc). I would stay here again.

Two things I could not understand: 1) why Sonesta has a room for accepting pets but have carpet on the floor instead of hardwwod or ceramic tile. We entered our room with a pee spot on carpet floor right at the entrance. We communicated that to reception but they found that to be normal. We didn't understand that. Well, we're not coming back. 2) How can Sonesta call itself ”pet-friendly hotel”if they charged us $200.00 for pet fee for two nights (we found that to be ridiculous and they should not advertise themselves as pet friendly but only as ”we accept pets” because the fee is 10 times higher at Sonesta than at Best Western.

Very nice hotel, the hotel has beautiful beaches, the ingredients in the restaurant are fresh, the hotel's paintings are very tasteful, there is a small shop for breakfast, very affordable. Anyway, hope to stay again

The staff was incredibly helpful fast and efficient anytime the rest anything room was nice and clean Overall a wonderful place to stay stayed there before I will continue to stay there the best place in Hilton head Island

What can I say about the Hampton inn absolutely nothing negative from the pool to the energy of the guest and the staff oh my God it is amazing and the cookies that they put out for their guest guys is amazing you should try it hopefully you guys get a cookie before my husband goes and eat them up the next time lol however I did enjoy my stay I will be back soon book if you can!! Trust me you won't regret it and yes the rooms are updated!!! There is a $10 incidental fee that you will get back as long as you don't tear up their belongings so as long as you do that you'll have your $10 back right away depending on your bank and you won't regret it have a great time everyone!

I finally found a motel that meets everything it says online and meet my needs. Very great rooms, great breakfast and very friendly people and staff. I will be coming there again. Thank you all for everything. You have an A+ in my book. 😊

Faucets aren’t affixed to the walls/counters; pulling the pipe through the wall. Stains on walls, sloppy paint jobs, and too much/wrong caulking makes the bathroom look like trash. The entire hotel smelled like fragrance and chemicals trying to mask mold and moisture. Was afraid to even use the ice machine or attend breakfast. Front desk lady was pleasant though and Internet worked.
