Excellent location and service. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Took time to explain surrounding area and recommendation for dinner and sights. 

We met the cleaning lady at check in time, but communicated mistakes caused delay. Besides that everything was fine.

Perfect spot for exploring Capitol Reef We loved our stay at Red Sands Hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — great to come back to after a day of hiking in Capitol Reef. The location is super convenient, just minutes from the park entrance. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the hotel has a really calm, relaxing vibe. Bonus points for the rooftop deck and the cozy lobby — perfect for chilling out in the evening. Would absolutely stay here again!

Refrigerators, microwaves, laundry rooms are available; under the same facilities, choose the cheapest one.

I have to give it less for service and amenities as the WiFi was rubbish. You couldn’t connect; the signal must’ve been too low/weak. However, although the front desk guy was nice, he really should’ve done more to allow us connect in some way to a WiFi (e.g. the office/employee one or even his own) for a moment to be able to download a map we needed. So for service, I was not too impressed there. In general though, the only problem was the WiFi; it was non existent really.

The location is in front of the entrance of Capital Reef National Park , the hotel is operated by 4 in 1, with small supermarkets, Mexican restaurants, gas stations, and restaurants. It is convenient for people who drive to the national park.

Good basic accommodation. Was clean, no issues. Front desk closed at 10 pm, which was just right for me. Has bathtub and shower with hot water, toilet, kitchen sink and coffee machine. The coffee machine was not working for me, or maybe I didn’t know how to turn it on. No breakfast, just got it myself separately. Didn’t get to use the pool, but it looks nice. It’s motel, so I could stop the car right next to room which was nice.
