AAnonymous Userthe most wonderful accommodation that envelops you in the local ecosystem. one of the two large windows in my room faced a large pond which really made me feel at peace. the host couple is kind, warm, and attentive. As someone with high standards for cleanliness I can say that the cabins are not only new but very well-cleaned, including the bathroom. also I love that they set up a floor seating spot in the room I love laying on the floor. when I got sick the hosts took good care of me and the room with its large windows and beautiful view was the best place to be stuck inside in.

GGuest UserThe hostess of the hotel is extremely responsive and kindly aunt, will always support the conversation, as well as in any unclear situation comes to help and is ready to guide the local sights. The hotel itself is new and still in the process of building new rooms, but on New Year holidays when it stopped, the workers were not, so I cannot estimate the scale of the noise from the construction and whether it prevents rest. The hotel is quietly far from the traffic vacation, which is plus and with a beautiful view to the mountains. Also, they have a restaurant at the hotel where you can eat, it is convenient if you pull somewhere. Baycakes are rented only to those who have rights but have bicycles. The numbers are quite spacious.

GGnolijzGreen Bay Hotel was the perfect location to stay on our trip to Ninh Binh. It's right at the doorstep of Hoa Lu Street which comes alive during the nighttime and just a short walk from great breakfast/lunch time restaurants just across the water during the day.
The room we booked was spacious with wall to ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of Ninh Binh, with a comfortable King sized bed and well adorned bathroom.
The only issue was noise insulation, as chatter and vehicle noise does permeate into the room, but it's not a deal breaker.

DDominika28We really enjoyed our stay at Salina Hotel. It is a modest but clean and comfortable hotel with all the needed amenities. It is located a bit further from the main attractions so it is very quiet in the evening. The best part of the hotel are the owners though. They were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, going out of their way to make sure we had a great time in Ninh Binh. Would definitely recommend staying at Salina Hotel if you are looking for a more chilled and home-like atmosphere !

GGuest UserI had a very good sleep, but if you like a hard mattress this will not do it. It’s a little bit too soft. In terms of location I would advise to go near boat tours.
Other then that I would recommend this hotel and not to forget the owner is very friendly.

FFern WiseThe most beautiful hotel we have stayed in so far in Vietnam.
Service and staff were spot on and very attentive. Feels more like a home stay I can’t imagine how the staff could be any better.
Two things to mention.
If you’re looking for a good sleep I wouldn’t recommend due to chickens, dogs and other animals constantly making loud noise. I slept with headphones on so in the end didn’t matter. But what to expect when you’re sleeping in the middle of the mountains!
Two -the breakfast is cook to order with limited options so it took a long time to get our food and coffee. Plus the options were unhealthy. Would have been nice for porridge and fruit.
The experience was incredible, felt like a true paradise in the jungle.
We loved our stay.
We would stay again if we visited!

This trip itinerary covered three places:
Hanoi --＞ Ninh Binh (2.5-hour drive)
Ninh Binh --＞ Ha Long (3-hour drive)
Ha Long --＞ Hanoi Airport (2-hour drive)
For two nights in Ninh Binh, I stayed at a place called ”Mai Luxury Hotel.”
Judging by the name, it sounds grand,
but in reality, it was more like
a family-run, small-scale single-building guesthouse.
However, the room was of 4-star hotel quality,
so it was acceptable.
After checking out,
I had been on the way to Ha Long for about two hours when
I realized I had left my Insta 360 camera in the hotel lobby.
Knowing there was no way to go back and get it,
I had to wait until I arrived in Ha Long before calling Mai Luxury Hotel.
After confirming with them that I had indeed left it at the hotel,
we started looking for a solution.
Initially, they followed me on IG
(their hotel IG only had 4 followers).
We chatted via DM, and then they added me on WhatsApp to discuss.
Originally, they wanted to find a driver that very evening
to bring it to my hotel in Ha Long Bay.
But because it was a holiday, they couldn't find a driver.
Later, they found out I would be leaving Vietnam the next day,
so they started looking for any drivers heading to the airport the following day.
Not long after,
they actually found a driver.
They even sent me the driver's and vehicle's details.
They also said they had already wrapped it up securely.
At this point,
I was inclined to believe they genuinely intended to return it.
However, if the driver turned out to be dishonest, it could still go missing.
On the final day,
I arrived at the airport around 1 PM and received a message from the driver.
After that, I didn't hear from him again.
I grew increasingly anxious inside,
thinking maybe he was still driving?
Or perhaps he had already kept the camera for himself.
Around 4 PM, I finally received a call from the driver.
He even captured a photo of my anxious expression while waiting for him.
As previously arranged with the hotel,
I was to pay him 500,000 VND (about 150 HKD).
At that moment, the driver actually handed me back 200,000 VND.
Before I could react, he had already gotten back in his car and left.
When I looked at the returned item, I could hardly believe it!
The hotel had used a ”Happy New Year” bag
to hold a ”Happy New Year” box.
Upon opening the box, the camera was wrapped in cloth.
The level of care and thoughtfulness was truly perfect.
The feeling of joy from recovering something lost is truly
indescribable.
Of course, I wouldn't dare say that everyone in Vietnam is good,
but at least on this trip,
whether it was the hotpot restaurant owner, the tour guide on the boat, or the hotel staff,
they all made me feel
the warmth and kindness of the local people.

CConnorscapeThe family that runs this gorgeous little homestay is really wonderful and kind and always helpful and friendly. They provided us with a map for the area with tips and recommendations and also rented us a motorbike. The room was comfortable, clean and the included breakfast was absolutely perfect (I always ordered the banana pancake). The pool area is also really pretty probably the prettiest in the area. From the roof of the building you can see a lot of the surrounding landscape and the kids who go to the local school are all fun and friendly.

DDonFamily of 3 from Australia. We stayed in the double family room on level 10. Spacious, clean, warm, double rooms with hot showers and cold fridges. Staff were fantastic, especially the two lads who help with toast and seating at breakfast. Walking distance to night markets and WinMart. Couldn't fault it. We were the only 'western' tourists, but we were made to feel very safe and welcome. I would recommend and would stay here again on our next visit to Ninh Binh.

OOlgaZzA luxury hotel in a quiet area. Everything is new, room was spacious, bed linen was new, towels were fluffy The room cleaning was beyond praise. There was an outdoor swimming pool and a cozy garden with swings and elegant wrought-iron garden furniture. Breakfast, Vietnamese cuisine menu to choose from: delicious soups, tea, coffee. Many thanks to the staff for organizing excursions, calling a taxi and also for solving my small problem. Special thanks to Manager Loan for a wonderful evening in the city, hospitality and warmth
