"Here’s a balanced, honest, and respectful review of Aryaduta Pekanbaru, focusing on your family experience and the issues you faced: ⸻ ⭐ Family Stay Review: Aryaduta Pekanbaru We recently stayed at Aryaduta Pekanbaru for a family trip, and while the hotel has a good location and a well-known brand, our experience was below expectations. 👥 Front Desk Experience The check-in process was disappointing. The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged. 📍 Location The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point. ⸻ ⭐ Overall Rating: 2.8/5 Aryaduta Pekanbaru has potential because of its location and brand, but the hospitality, cleanliness, and maintenance need significant improvement. For families, the strict check-in policy, room condition, and lack of staff attention made the stay less comfortable than expected. This review reflects our genuine experience, and we hope it helps the hotel improve and guides other travellers planning their stay."

The pool is quite large and there were almost no other people on weekdays. The location is just okay. It's a 15 min walk to Ciputra mall and around the same distance to Sudirman, so gojek is needed if you don't want to endure heat. The window view is good from the front side, as long as you aren't bothered by a large graveyard nearby."
