I loved saying here. The homestay is located within the scenic area. It can be hard to navigate the area if you’re coming here for the first time. I got dropped off at a station after I showed the driver the address and walked uphill for 20-30 minutes before I was able to find the homestay. I recommend getting in touch with the homestay beforehand to arrange a pickup from the bus point since buses don’t drop you all the way to the homestay. There is free service for pick up and drop off to/from the bus station.
The food here was spectacular - simple and delicious. The people who work here are super considerate and welcoming. The homestay also partners with Wudang Taoist Academy which I later found out so I might be back to participate in one of the programs later on however if you are traveling to Wudang and also looking for classes in Tai Chi from well established instructors, this is definitely the place to be. The person who runs it is well-connected and can help you out with whatever you need. I was mostly communicating via WeChat which translated English-Chinese and vice versa easily. If you want to explore other areas within Wudang, you most definitely will be needing the shuttle bus.
I am very satisfied with my stay and will return if I get an opportunity.

As someone who's super picky and rarely leaves reviews, I genuinely want to recommend this guesthouse. It's truly rare to find a guesthouse run by good people that has so much heart and soul. You can park here, order meals, and they offer pick-up and drop-off services. The facilities are new, the stay is comfortable, and it's peacefully located halfway up the mountain. Plus, you get to watch a drone show for free! The brother and sister who own it are incredibly warm and generous. If you're worried about feeling lonely or making a bad choice when visiting Wudang Mountain, this is the place. I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to anyone reading this.

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

Just got off the bus, I saw the housekeeper waiting on the side of the road. They smiled and picked up their luggage, and the fatigue of the road was instantly dissipated. Walking along the road for only five minutes, you will arrive at the B&B hidden in the depths of the streets. It is close to Nanyan Palace and Zixuan Palace. There are many restaurants and shops around. You can enter the door and the hustle and bustle will be isolated.
The room was clean and bright, and the design of separation of dry and wet was very intimate. I slept extraordinarily that night, and the mattress was moderately firm and soft, like lying in a cloud.
Love the terrace facing the mountains. All kinds of green plants stretched out in the morning light, sitting at the tea table, holding the tea. The fog slowly rose from the valley, sometimes winding the peaks, sometimes over the forest. Sitting so quietly, watching the mountains and watching the fog, I forgot the time.
Here, the service is silent warmth always appearing in due time when needed, and leaving us with enough quietness. This journey has become different due to this homestay, enjoying the joy of the mountains and rivers, and the warmth of the world.

Guest User[An Immersive Mountain B&B You'll Fall in Love With!] Who can understand?! The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was captivated—backed by lush mountains, stone steps framing wooden tables and chairs, a bright yellow parasol overhead—the ”relaxing mountain feeling” was off the charts! This courtyard isn't just ”idyllic Zen,” it's a tangible embodiment of ”stealing a moment of peace from the hustle and bustle of life.”
The rooms were visibly clean, the facilities looked brand new, and the owner's thoughtfulness was a real-life masterpiece: clear directions were provided beforehand for the mountain path, so when you're exhausted after the hike, you can simply turn around and head to the courtyard to brew tea. The warm aroma of tea, carried on the mountain breeze, slowed even your breathing.
The environment was so wonderful I wanted to stay forever. On the way down, all I could think about was, ”Next time, I definitely want to stay longer!”
Let me repeat: wonderful environment, excellent service, tranquility, and all the facilities are brand new—perfect for those with OCD, haha, my husband is a clean freak!

1. Excellent Location
The next morning, if I were to visit Jinding, Qixingshu was the closest guesthouse to the mountain. The journey took about 2-3 hours. The guesthouse was built in 2012, and the rooms are larger than many nearby. However, being so high up in the mountains, the decor and facilities are understandably dated, though not very convenient.
2. Excellent Hospitality
The owner was very welcoming. Considering I was going to hike the canyon plank road to Wulong Temple the next day, he made sure to up my breakfast, making sure I was well fed, as there would be no places to refill along the way. He even cut a bamboo cane for me to take with me. The cane was crucial; it gave me courage during the six-hour round trip through the deserted canyon. The owner's daughter was also very welcoming. I stayed at her house for three days, drinking tea all day long, which was very refreshing.

The room is the same as described, affordable, clean and hygienic. The boss and his family are also very hospitable and helped us introduce and plan the travel route, which gave us a perfect travel experience. In addition, the boss's cooking skills are also very good. I recommend trying the boss's signature dishes and the boss's wife's handmade noodles. There will be surprises. I will come again next time

🏠Room Environment: A Feast for the Eyes, a Detail-Obsessed Paradise
The moment you step into the room, you're captivated! It's an incredibly soothing retro wood-themed space, with a dark gray ceiling paired with warm-toned pendant lights, and off-white walls that exude quality without feeling cheap. The bedding is so soft and plush; lying down instantly washes away all fatigue, ensuring a restful sleep.
Every corner is filled with thoughtful touches: dried cotton flowers by the window, a vintage barrel-shaped side table, a hand-crocheted tablecloth, and decorative paintings and a geometric mirror on the walls—every snapshot is a masterpiece, no filters needed! The room is impeccably clean, spotless, and fully equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and tea set—it's even more comfortable than home.
📚Common Areas: Overflowing with Healing Charm, Warm and Cozy Like Home
The common areas are absolutely amazing! An entire wall of bookshelves is filled with books. When the sunlight streams in, curling up on the sofa to read a few pages, listening to music from the gramophone, is instantly therapeutic. There's also a vintage gramophone, exquisite tea sets, and plush sofas—whether you're daydreaming, reading, or chatting with the owner, it's incredibly cozy and a true haven during your travels.
✨ Overall Experience: The Best Choice for Staying in Wudang Mountain
When visiting Wudang Mountain, you really don't need to worry about accommodation! This guesthouse not only looks great, but its comfort is off the charts. Convenient location, quiet environment, and meticulous attention to detail—it truly embodies ”healing.” Whether you're visiting Wudang Mountain for pilgrimage, hiking, or enjoying a slow-paced lifestyle like I did, this is the perfect place to stay.
I've already recommended it to all my friends who are planning a trip to Wudang Mountain, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The environment is very elegant, the newly renovated homestay has air conditioning, and it can be seen that it has been carefully designed, which makes people shine.
The environment is very good, the proprietress Ms. Yang is very attentive and enthusiastic, and there will be professional and pragmatic suggestions for tourism and catering!
It is very close to Wudang Shanxi High-speed Railway Station, about1.38 kilometers in a straight line, about 10-15 minutes walking distance, which varies from person to person.
It is convenient and fast to go to Wudang Mountain Scenic Area, and there is a K202 bus directly to the scenic spot. ****
