Pietrablu Resort & Spa - Cdshotels ★★★★
"Very nice and clean hotel . Friendly with family , have rapit in the garden . Have 2 restaurant and pool in front of beach."
Villa Lara ★★★
"Just left villa Lara. Our host Dino was an exceptional host. He advised us on where to visit, local restaurants, was always available if we needed anything. Beds were comfy The location was a perfect home base for us as it was a central location to all the places we wanted to visit. It’s a convenient location if you have a car to visit all the surrounding destinations , like Alberobello, Monopoli, Poligniano a mare,, etc. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately we didn’t take advantage of his pool as we were always on the road. Would definitely come back to Villa Lara. And once again Dino, thank you for accommodating us on our last day of our trip. Grazie Rosa and David from Canada"
Aeris Suite & Relax ★★★★
"Lovely small hotel near the old city and beaches. Simple and well done. With slowest elevator in Europe. Haha. Only 4 floors thankfully"
Casetta Zio Franco ★★★★
"Very well appointed room with access directly off the street. Decent size and with a nice bathroom. Very close to the vew points and local attractions."
Quintessenza Luxury Domus ★★★★
"The hotel is in an ideal location. Carola is incredibly kind. She immediately sent us her restaurant recommendations and gave a map. She also explained the breakfast in detail, which was extremely tasty and even had gluten-free options. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is spacious. They also has a rooftop, which really adds to the overall experience and makes you like it even more."
Settanni Sea Suites ★★★★
"We arrived late after our flight was delayed. Stefania was brilliant and incredibly helpful. The accommodation was excellent: comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. Perfect for our stay. Only a short walk into the main centre which is stunning."
The Duchess of Puglia ★★★★
"It was a great experience staying here. The hotel is right there in the square, so you are around so much! The room, my goodness. So much care and thought went into the aesthetics of the space. Honestly felt like a home, with everything so clean and quiet."
San Lorenzo Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"If you’re looking for a wonderful place with outstanding service, you’ll find it at this hotel. Everyone who assisted us was extremely polite and professional. I especially want to highlight the amazing service provided by Antonella and Pascoalle, they were incredible and made our experience truly unforgettable. The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views. A perfect combination for a relaxing and memorable stay. If you’re visiting Puglia, stay at this hotel , you won’t regret it. Every moment is worth it!"
Aquamarea ★★★★
"Excellent location. Good room, and extremely friendly staff. The only problem is that the breakfast starts from 8:30, which is a bit late. But the staff packed some foods for Yus, which is very helpful."

La Perla del Mare di Polignano Apartments
"AVOID THIS PLACE!!! You will never meet more heartless, less sympathetic, more greedy people than these owners. We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). Booked for four nights in advance and checked in without incident. Check-in staff was very nice. About an hour before our dinner reservation, we noticed a lot of ants in the room. I went down to speak with the staff and they immediately called the owners to come. The owners was a mom and daughter duo. The owners did not seem surprised by the ants and immediately went to check out the spots where the ants entered. Actually, they knew where the ants entered even before we pointed them out. The mom brought in a latter and sprayed the room with ant spray. We told the owners that we don't feel comfortable staying in that room with the trail of ant everywhere, including the bed. The owners said that this was the only room. You either take this room or we can give you a break and give you a refund without penalty. My concern is that we had nowhere to stay for the next four nights. Essentially, the mom and daughter didn't care what happened to us. The daughter actually had the audacity to tell us that they would lose $$$ by giving us a refund. This went back and forth for 30 mins or so without much decision. We had to leave as we had a dinner reservation which was made 2 weeks in advance. We asked that they help us figure out alternative accommodations, within reason. We spent all dinner looking up alternatives on our phone. Come back around 10pm to meet with the mom, daughter, and brother who we are told is the administrator of the property. The alternative they found us was one night in a room on the ground floor of the building but not part of the hotel. Nothing in the room expect 2 beds on the floor. Bathroom was not renovated. There is a glass sliding door that leads to the side street of the building so not exactly safe. For the remaining three nights, they were going to put us in a friends airbnb which they showed us pictures of. Again, much older and unrenovated place. That was our options. An ant infested room or a dingy room on the ground floor which was not part of the hotel rooms. We decided against those options and left the hotel at 11pm. We literally rolled our luggage out at 11pm and all they said was "sorry for the inconvenience." We were also told that they will initiate the refund to ******* by midnight that night. I called ******* at 5am the next morning and they did not initiate a refund. When I told ******* the situation, ******* tried contacting the hotel. When the hotel did not respond, ******* initiated the refund. By mid morning that day, the brother messaged me to yell at me for calling ******* to ask for the refund. Not sorry that they left us without a place to stay or no care at all but concerned that the room is now locked and they cannot rent it out. The ant infested room that they cannot rent out."
Karen House B&B
"Characteristic and very welcoming location. Very helpful and friendly host, who did everything possible to make our stay in Polignano a Mare pleasant. Excellent quality-price ratio. An experience absolutely worth repeating."
White Coast
"A really nice Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Polignano a Mare. The rooms were fresh and clean, with a comfortable bed, a nice balcony, and complimentary bottled water that made our stay very enjoyable. The host is extremely friendly and service-minded, and he kindly picked us up at the train station upon our arrival, which we greatly appreciated. While there are cheaper places to stay, this is the obvious choice for a comfortable stay."
Hotel San Giovanni
"I booked with my partner for one week and we been very impressed, absolutely lovely hotel, the room was very big and comfortable, the cleanliness was amazing, all the hotel looks so clean from the reception until the room…. The staff was so friendly and accommodating all our requests … the room service was lovely, imagine to receive every day breakfast in the room just sound amazing!!! Absolutely we will come back !!! Thanks for the amazing experience!!!!"
Borgobianco Resort & Spa Polignano - MGallery
"The resort is quite run down and old for its value and we were quite disappointed. Otherwise the service was good and staff was helpful!"
Hotel Grotta Palazzese
"This was an awful experience. We paid an astonishing amount each night for our 4 night stay. We had noise above and later found out that the adjacent noise to our room that we heard each morning was the staff kitchen entrance which commenced door banging at 7am on each day even on weekends. Camping is quieter and this was awful. We tried to move rooms after one night and whilst the hotel app showed availability for other rooms the staff had clearly dealt with these issues beforehand and lied. They said there was no availability as this room that we wanted to move to as it was next door to our noisy room had an electrical fault - which was clearly a lie. All in all probably the worst experience of a high priced hotel anywhere I have come across. Visitors to the adjoining restaurant also left hugely disappointed after paying €300 per head for a terrible meal. Oh and forgot to say no tea or coffee facility and 2 coffees on room service came after 30 minutes - they were cold - in a hotel of 6 rooms/suites. Don’t be conned by their private beach at their sister hotel. That is a 43 room hotel and the private beach is busier than a Spanish/Moroccan border in July..!! Avoid this place at all costs."
Cala Ponte, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"Hotel Cala Ponte is a charming retreat in a quaint Italian town along the Adriatic Sea. It is ideally situated near several beautiful towns in Puglia, including Bari, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Monopoli, Locorotondo, Matera, and Fasano, making it a perfect base for exploring the region. The hotel’s design is lovely, with a central restaurant and reception area surrounded by accommodation units nestled in a serene park filled with olive trees. The rooms are spacious, well-insulated, and feature terraces. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is stylishly done—though the choice of a wooden floor was impractical. Unfortunately, moisture has caused water damage around the shower area, resulting in a noticeable musty smell, particularly when entering from outside. The hotel grounds include a beautiful swimming pool within the park, though it was a bit too cold for us to enjoy during our stay. There are also tennis courts and a larger pool nearby for additional activities. Service in the restaurant is attentive, and the food is excellent. Staff are knowledgeable and take care with allergens, providing helpful guidance for guests with dietary needs. Overall, Hotel Cala Ponte is a delightful spot with a lot of charm and a great location for exploring the scenic Puglia region"
Grotta Palazzese Beach Hotel
NelBlu B&B
"First of all, it is very difficult to find the location of the hotel. At least there should be a sign outside. The accommodation was clean but very small, and only the bare minimum was provided."
Montegrottone Nature Retreat
"Beautiful hotel, near Polignano (10 minute drive). Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was tastefully decorated and very spacious. Tennis court and swimming pool. Great breakfast and amazing views of the sea. Will go back without a doubt."
Al 22 Suite & Spa Luxury Experience
Masseria Auraterrae
"The external location is well looked after, as are the internal spaces. The dinner menu allows the choice of à la carte dishes or a tasting menu of 4 dishes of your choice (costing 80 euros). We did not opt for the tasting and chose 5 dishes (first and second course) and 2 sorbets. The quality of the food is excellent, as is the dinner service. The only flaw, which made us leave with a bad taste in our mouth, was at the time of the bill. They gave us a bill that took into account 2 tasting menus (8 dishes) - instead of the 5 dishes and two sorbets ordered - and therefore higher than it should have been. When we pointed this out to the waiter he justified himself by saying that with this option (2 tastings) we would have spent less, which we pointed out was not true. We asked to redo the bill which was OBVIOUSLY lower than the one given to us. When we were given the correct bill, we weren't even given an apology, a gesture that we didn't appreciate at all. Given that education and correctness should be the basis of any restaurant service, in a 5-star farm it is essential. "Smart things" like these should never happen and if they do happen it is best to apologise. Sin."
Giovì Relais
" Immediately adjacent to the old centre of Polignano, the hotel feels new, but styled on older local buildings, and using local materials. How often can you lay in bed, looking up at clamshell fossils in the stones of your arched ceiling? Our room (and the whole building, which features a spa in the cellar) felt calm and comfortable. The breakfast terrace was on the roof, with lovely views over the town, out to sea. Breakfast was reasonable - not the greatest selection in the world, but enough to keep you going until lunchtime. The nearest car-park is 6 or 7 minutes walk away, although if you know what you're doing, you can always stop briefly at the back door of the hotel to load/unload luggage. Staff very friendly and helpful."
Vicolo Fiorito B&B
Musae Relais & Spa
"Wonderful service and comfortable room. What stood out was the great service and breakfast. The reception was super helpful in arranging dinner and activities"
Musae Al Mare
"The hotel provides free parking, free bicycles, free afternoon tea and free breakfast, and the meals are very rich, service is not often thoughtful ! The equipment in the hotel is very new and clean, beautifully furnished, and the jacuzzi is clean. But what surprised me was that according to the photo, I thought it was a two-story apartment. As a result, I had to go up the stairs outside to get to the rooftop, and there was actually a building outside the landscape. I wanted to have a 180-degree sea view. I can only see it from a certain angle. I feel that the photo is a little less distorted. There is a bit of deduction here . "
