"I stayed at Tempus Hotel for 3 nights. Things I liked the most about my stay are the following: 1. The location and the views (even though it’s quite far from Gerês national park) 2. Very fast and smooth check in 3. The balcony and the view 4. The patio (by the restaurant) 5. The dinner at the restaurant The room was decent & spacious, a bit worn out, but overall comfortable. The pool isn’t big, and it produced some noises in the filtering section. There are a few things that could be improved: 1. The breakfast was very limited, and it was not replenished unless requested. I would not recommend adding breakfast to the stay. 2. We picked this hotel hoping to enjoy some spa treatments. We even mentioned that prior to booking. Once we arrived we booked 2 massages, and only some time later they told us the masseuse was on holidays. It was very disappointing. 3. Overall service at the hotel isn’t really smooth. It felt that the hotel is in need of proper management. 4. The sauna could not get hot enough due to poor insulation. For my next visits, I would consider other places to stay."

"Very suggestive B&B The country is beautiful The charming structure , the lady careing for the guests very gentle , the atmosphere suggested almost out of time. It would be useful if there were a refrigerator bar in the room or at least a bottle of water and the bed was made every morning and perhaps even a little newer."

"This was our second stay at Casa da Portela de Sampriz and we enjoyed it like the first time here! Thanks to the history of the place, its outstanding renovation, the nice setting in the landscape, the excellent interior and exterior - and the hospitality of Leonor and Alberto, this was again one of the most remarkable stays of our trip through the North of Portugal. The rooms are delicately furnished with historic furniture and equipped at a very high standard. We felt immediately at home and enchanted, not at last in the common room among the old granite walls of the former winery's basement. In the morning, Leonor makes sure that you cannot leave without having tasted the many little treats of a Portuguese breakfast including home baked cake while enjoying the historic charm of the large breakfast room. The place is perfectly located next to the Peneda-Geres National Park and Alberto will not fail to recommend routes, sights, and restaurants. Upon return, enjoy a bottle of refreshing local Vinho Verde at the pool as well as a gorgeous sunset over the hilly country of the Lima river. As after the first time, we have a personal pledge to return ... and we are hopeful to do so :)"

"Very mediocre hotel for the prices charged. Friendly but untrained staff, presentation as if they were in the pool, sitting on the counter chatting, etc. Necessary products, exaggeratedly regulated, such as: they only put one dose of shower gel and shampoo for two people, they only have one type of pillow. Ponte da Barca, has much better hotels, at more affordable prices and with better quality in every way."
