"We were a little apprehensive before we flew out due to the negative reviews on here. However, absolutely no reason to have been! We are still here now and having a lovely time. Hotel is exactly as you see in the pictures. If you feel that it looks dated and the colour scheme doesn't suit then don't book. Rooms are bright, fresh and cleaned daily and our room had definitely been modernised as fittings and bed fittings felt new. Our cleaner is lovely, friendly and does a thorough job. Fresh towels every day. Yes they are thin but do the job and personally I wouldn't want a big fluffy towel whilst I'm on my summer holiday! Hotel staff are nice but a little reserved. Try saying hello, good morning and thank you to them and they are full of smiles. Breakfast is plentiful. Other reviews have said inedible. I would say that's going a little far. Lots of choice. Fresh fruit, bread, toaster, continental meats and salad, pancakes, fresh honey and yes English breakfast products! Now the English breakfast range is not great but the hotel have tried to cater for everyone. This is not an all English hotel it's multi cultural. I would say the English part of breakfast was the only disappointment in the hotel which is good going really. You would have to be extremely fussy if you can't find something to eat here and that comes from someone who has family members with allergies and even they would find something to eat. Other reviews mention seagulls. OK so Nessebar does have seagulls (surprise surprise - it's by the sea!) But this morning I observed 5 cleaners and a pool man cleaning around and in the pool at 8am. They wash down all the sunbeds with a brush and hose and the floors around the pool area. What more can they do? The seagulls don't fly around you during the day and don't come near the pool until people have gone. Pool area has free and good quality sunbeds and view over the beach. No fighting for sunbeds. Some people were reserving at 8am but really no need. We went down on first day at 10am and got front row overlooking the sea and lots more available around the pool. We had a Seaview room overlooking the pool and had a beautiful view as far as the old town. Comfy double bed, excellent air conditioning and the sound of the sea right outside. Beach right in front of hotel is a long gorgeous sandy beach with loads of sunbeds. Cost 15 euro for 2 beds an umbrella and a table. Payable in cash to sunbed man. Beach is cleaned every night and morning. Tractors sweep the beach in the evening and all sunbeds are put back in place. In the mornings there are beach cleaners who come round and litter pick where needed. Old town is absolutely gorgeous. We walked into the old town along the seafront in about 20 mins. You can also walk via the new town and road if you want. We have walked into old town most nights. Loads of restaurants and bars and good price even seafront restaurants. "1st of all if you want to stay in this hotel you will be making a great choice but if your veggie avoid dinner no options apart from chips.. The cleanness of this hotel is 2nd to none rooms spot less very clean room size is extally what you need also have shower that is perfect don't want a bath in the late July heat... Rooms cleaned everyday 5* for rooms and how clean they are The only disappointment is the food no Vegratian I'm afraid if you don't eat meat it will be chips for you so don't book evening meal.. If your are a meat eater this is the perfect choice for you.... I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in this beautiful hotel I have never been treated as good by all the staff than here nothing is ever to much for them so so helpful I just want to name 3 in no particular order on reception Tatyana is the most amazing helpful knowledgeable and goes out her way to make sure that everything you need or require is done in a instant... Pavel the bar man is the most friendly helpful kind and such a fantastic person to have around the hotel always has a smile on his face and willing to do anything he can to make sure all your needs are met.. Last but not least stelios the new manager runs an amazing hotel takes the time to talk to you only been here a year and has made it into an fantastic hotel everything you can think of he has sorted and with the team behind this hotel will only get better and better thank you stelios and all the amazing team you have... The location couldn't be better only a couple of min walk to the beach and the main shops only 10 mins further the hotel is slightly out the way of the main part meaning that quietness is guaranteed... A perfect night sleep with no loud bangs people coming in drunk banging doors in early hours you will not find here you will sleep sound with no disturbances... Just a quick note if you are english there are a few foreign guests staying here and I've experienced a few times them swearing and been a bit aggressive towards you but that is not a big issue it's mainly around breakfast and dinner time.. To sum it up this is a fantastic hotel that is great value so don't be put off by the price with the new manager this hotel is only going higher and higher.. Without the staff this hotel would just be a bog standard cheap getaway.. Here your going have a great times beer 1.60 € a pint.. Just to say again the staff make this hotel amazing do not be put off by the current star rating this hotel is moving up fast so book it now while you can... Amzing hotel amzing pool fantastic staff exctally what you need at an amzing price.. Believe me you will not be disappointed.. Definitely 5* from me can't wait to return in September already booked.. Unpalatable drinks, syrupy cocktails, unrecognisable mixers. The Ugly: Parents getting drunk while their Young Kids ran amok through reception and communal areas. Rude, obnoxious adults too busy getting drunk and shrieking and singing at the top of their voices with no consideration of others while the hotel staff do nothing to take control or address"
