"Good location in Cala Figuera, for visiting nearby coves and dining in its restaurants. Spacious room with a balcony. Quiet and clean pool. Good-value bar. Easy parking. Very complete breakfast: various cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, cereals, excellent breads, sweetened natural yogurt, and fruit in syrup (and if the fruit were natural and the yogurt unsweetened, even better). The staff was a bit abrupt, but helpful. Excellent value for money. THE WORST: The cleanliness: one day we found the room covered in hair and lint that was visible to the naked eye in huge piles, worse than before cleaning: they had mopped it very dirty, without rinsing it from other rooms. The shower curtain was also dirty and the tiles were encrusted (squashed insects and other debris). Furthermore, the shower cistern took half an hour to fill, which was a major inconvenience because we had to leave time between uses."

"A small, elegant, boutique hotel situated right in the heart of Santanyi. Even with the two vibrant, busy markets that take place twice a week and the local bars and restaurants nearby, it was peaceful and relaxing within the hotel, at all times and never noisy outside. The staff and owners were ever so helpful at all times but went above and beyond when our luggage went missing. The hotel is spotless with some beautiful artworks and a small but refreshing pool. We stayed in room Olivera, which was a spacious one bedroom with private balcony and two sun loungers. Lovely. Breakfast was phenomenal - everything you could have wanted to start your day. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Stayed for four nights. Set back from the seafront in a quiet street. Two minutes walk to Cala Gran beach. Beautiful pool area and grounds. Comfortable lounge and dining area in classic style. Upgraded to premium room. All amenities there. Room is ultra modern which is not in keeping with the rest of the hotel and looks basic. Very clean throughout hotel and staff extremely attentive. Isobel in particular was superb. Her customer service was exceptional. A lovely stay but just short of five star experience in our opinion."

"Our recent stay at Ikos Porto Petro was outstanding, and we had an absolutely wonderful holiday. The resort’s setting is exceptionally beautiful. Although it is quite extensive, its thoughtful layout around two lovely coves means that it never feels overwhelming. Each beach area has its own restaurants, seating and distinct character, creating a much more intimate atmosphere than one might expect from a resort of this size. We stayed near Es Torre beach, adjacent to Fresco, and particularly loved this slightly quieter part of the resort. As an older couple, it suited us perfectly. The first week of September was understandably very popular with families and young babies, so on a future visit we might choose a different time—but the clever layout always enabled us to find a peaceful spot. The food throughout the resort was excellent. We enjoyed every restaurant, although Ouzo, Beach Club and Oliva were probably our particular favourites. Above all, what makes Ikos so special is its wonderfully warm, friendly and efficient staff. From the restaurant teams and concierge staff to the buggy drivers, the service was consistently outstanding. We would particularly like to mention Adian at Oliva and the wonderful waiter affectionately known as “Speedy Gonzales”—unfortunately, we cannot recall his real name, but he will certainly know who he is! Both were tremendous and went out of their way to provide exemplary service. Our final experience perfectly sums up the exceptional care shown by the Ikos team. After leaving the resort, when we were already on the transfer coach to the airport, Sofia from the Concierge team in Reception contacted us to tell us that they had fiund my husband's phone in the lobby. As we could not turn back without risking missing our flight, she immediately offered to arrange for the phone to be sent by taxi. Instead, she located an Ikos driver, Aldana, who was travelling to the airport shortly afterwards. Aldana then found us personally in the departures area and safely returned the phone to us before our flight. We were enormously relieved and extremely grateful. Sofia and Aldana’s initiative and kindness went far beyond what we could reasonably have expected and were a perfect example of the truly exceptional service at Ikos Porto Petro. A beautiful resort, excellent food and genuinely outstanding people—we cannot wait to return."

"It's okay. The location is fine too. The cleanliness is just average, but the room is very large and spacious, with a sofa and a kitchen. Breakfast was okay. Each floor has a cold and hot water dispenser, which is quite good. a bit far to go to the beach"

What really stood out, however, was the friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help shown by every member of the staff. From the reception team to the restaurant staff and the housekeeping team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and ensured we had a wonderful experience. We would especially like to thank Patricia at reception. She guided us throughout our stay with exceptional kindness, always smiling and ready to help with any questions or recommendations. Her warm attitude made a real difference and made us feel at home. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. "We have just arrived home after 8 nights in Cala D’or. We really can’t fault the apartments at all, they were clean and had everything we needed for our stay and in a perfect location. We didn’t use the pool area or the restaurant so can’t comment on those but we were very happy with everything. We had some very noisy neighbours for a few of the nights we were there but this is not a reflection on the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly in particular Noelia (hope the spelling is correct) she was extremely helpful on arrival, this was our first time in Cala D’or and she took the time to show us the area on a map and recommended places to go including bars, restaurants and beaches, thank you for your advice and for your being so welcoming. We will 100% be back again, thank you"
