"Traveling with the elderly and children, we booked a tatami four-person room. This room type is available on the fourth and fifth floors. The fourth floor can be reached directly by elevator, but the light is a little worse. The fifth floor requires one flight of stairs, which is not very convenient. At that time, there was a large window that made it brighter. Each floor has its pros and cons. We have a lot of stuff with our kids and elderly people, so we chose the fourth floor. The staff was very nice. They showed me two types of rooms and let me choose. When I checked out, my baby was still asleep from her nap, so they took the initiative to extend our check-out by one hour. The surrounding natural environment is also very good, surrounded by mountains and small streams, it is particularly beautiful. The downside is that the bathroom has a bit of an unpleasant smell and the room lights are too dim."

But maybe because of the off-season, there is no water in many hot spring pools. The kitchen can make à la carte dishes, authentic Northeastern cuisine, and the taste is good, but there is no milk and coffee in the breakfast buffet. I hope it can be added in the future. The staff is very enthusiastic and greets customers when they see them. When eating, they will also ask if they need hot water, which is very considerate! "This is probably my third time here, and this visit was particularly outstanding. Let's start with the rooms: for three adults, we initially booked one castle mountain view twin room. The room and beds were spacious enough, definitely sufficient. However, after staying for a bit, we felt we could be even more comfortable, so we booked another castle mountain view hot spring king room, which truly exceeded our expectations. The TV was bigger, and there was a huge hot spring tub that could easily fit 3, 4, 5, or even 6 people. The room was well-equipped, and the facilities were so new that even seniors needed guidance (^～^). The bedding was spotlessly clean, soft, and skin-friendly. There was one minor flaw: a small hand towel on the vanity had a slight smell, but it was harmless. Next, the environment: a castle villa nestled among mountains and water. As soon as you drive in, you're immersed in the beautiful scenery. The geographical advantage is clear; the air, fragrant with grass, instantly helps you clear your mind and relax. It's perfect for city dwellers looking to escape the hustle and bustle occasionally and return to nature's embrace. The hot spring pools are divided into public areas and private baths. The public areas are further divided into indoor and outdoor sections, with the infinity pool being a highlight. The hot spring water is incredibly beneficial for people with joint issues. Even the taps in the room provide hot spring water. And the service was impeccable. Staff in all areas proactively greeted us and offered assistance. It would be even better if there were dedicated porters or doormen; that way, guests could have their luggage taken from their car and delivered to their room as soon as they park. The staff in the hot spring area promptly replenished towels, fruit, drinks, and all other necessities, and constantly reminded us about slippery floors and safety, providing a truly family-like warmth. Based on the hotel's bookings for the day, they kindly offered complimentary early check-in and late check-out, which made our elderly companions feel much more at ease and less rushed. Oh, and the breakfast was quite rich; the Chinese pastries were a hit with the elders. It was a very enjoyable trip to Benxi Xikang, and this will definitely not be my last time; many more visits are in store."
