Scenic Hotels in Libo

"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"First, the room was exactly as described, and it even had a smart butler system to operate the room's amenities—advanced and convenient! Second, the room was clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay! Third, the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the ancient town, and parking is convenient! Fourth, there are many restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient! Fifth, the landlady is warm and hospitable, providing smiling service and even helping guests with travel tips to help them plan their trips—very thoughtful! Finally, the hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended!"

"The room was clean and beautiful, with a charming, rustic feel yet modern design. It was very well-equipped, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is super close to the scenic area, right next to the exit, which made exploring incredibly convenient! The service was also very attentive and warm. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xiaoqikong!"

"Extremely satisfied! First off, the location is great, right at the East Gate, so you can walk straight to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. All the shops along the way are restaurants, which is super convenient. The owner was incredibly nice and upgraded our room. The hotel is very new; I didn't take many photos, but what you see is what you get – the pictures on Trip.com are exactly what you'll find. It was meticulously clean. I had brought a bag of clothes to wash myself, but the staff kindly offered to wash them for me, which was a huge help. They also gave us drink vouchers, and the coffee was delicious. The room facilities were excellent, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath towels and bath bags! The soundproofing was fantastic too, no noise at all, very quiet. Plus, there's a hotel shuttle service and help with luggage. Overall, it was just perfect! If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here."

"First and foremost, I'm not a shill, I promise! 1. **Transfer Service:** As soon as we stepped out of the high-speed rail station, we saw the hotel's business car waiting. The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. "I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate."

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"This guesthouse is super close to the east gate of the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse itself is very clean and cozy. The hostess was really warm and attentive, and because it was off-season and not many guests were around, she even helped us upgrade our room. The breakfast was also prepared with a lot of care, offering rice, grains, and hot soy milk. Honestly, it was even better than some dinners I've had! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

"I was extremely satisfied with this B&B. The hygiene, facilities, and service were all excellent. The breakfast was also quite exquisite. The room had a tea set, and sitting there enjoying a hot cup of tea while gazing at the misty clouds outside was incredibly relaxing. The B&B is also very close to the East Gate scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. The landlady was warm and thoughtful; I had booked a room with a bathtub, and she even upgraded me to a room with a full bath! After exploring Libo, a good soak really helps to wash away the day's fatigue. Highly recommend!"
