Scenic Hotels in Udon Thani

"We came as family and booked our rooms (2 rooms with king bed) through trip.com. The hotel is quite relatively new and clean. However the service needs some improvements. When we got to the hotel, we asked if we could have our rooms near by each other as we travelled with small kids. The front desk told us that they are full and only have twin bed room which is connecting to the one bed room. However, we asked if the twins bed could be put together and if the hotel can use the blanket to over the bed so that the separation is covered and easy to sleep, but they said no they can only push the beds together and that was it. To us that was not helpful in my view. They can at least offer extra blanket which we can do it ourselves. We got one room on 3rd and one on 5th floor. We found that the hallway of the 5th floor had very strong smell (not sure what it was, but it smelled very strong like some sort of chemical). When reported to the front desk, she noted, but nothing seemed to happened as we could still smell it on the second day. The room on the 3rd floor (318) the AC was leaking and the water was all over the floor. Our son was running and almost fall over, but luckily he held on the wall and didn't tip over. We called the hotel and asked if they can send someone. The hotel staff came and fixed it, but still the AC still leaked the next day (see photos). I also asked the mechanic to check the smell on the 5th floor. It seemed what they did was to spray it with some air freshener to cover the smell. So i finally asked if we could move to the same floor even if it was a twin-beds room. It would be good if the hotel guard could help their guests when driving out to the street as sometimes when the cars are parked near the exit/entrance, we couldn't see the car coming very well, and this could be a road safety issue. Also when there is a heavy traffic, the hotel guard could help their guests to get in and out by stopping the car or asking the car to not block the entrance/exit. I found that the housekeepers were the most helpful staff at this hotel. They were genuinely kind and helpful. I wish the front desk could be a bit more genuine (without giving their guests the 'look”, but instead offer some support and help or alternatives. We want express our thanks to the housekeeper and the mechanic for their helpful service throughout our stay despite the issues that we faced during our stay."

"Excellent stay at Hotel Moco, check in was smooth, welcome drink on arrival Room was amazing, luxurious and smelt fresh and nice, bathroom/shower also nice and spacious, bed extremely comfortable slept like a baby Breakfast was good, there is a separate menu to order things from, such as omelettes, and Thai food etc Location is great, close to the central mall, UD town and the train station, highly recommended eating at Brunch and Munch opposite the hotel Enjoyed our stay here and the will be back : )"

"Outstanding hotel with the friendliest staff ever!! My husband and I have traveled all over the world to 70+ countries, and this hotel left such a memorable impression. Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted promptly and taken care of (luggage, check-in) and since it was Chinese New Year, we were given delicious treats! Our room felt luxurious with a spacious floor plan, very comfortable beds and bedding, good size bathroom AND complementary drinks (coffee, tea, soda and juice) plus snacks (chips and crackers) that get refilled each day of your stay. Breakfast is mostly traditional Issan Thai dishes (hot) with egg station, beverage station and salad bar. The cherry on top, is the 25m outdoor lap pool and air conditioned fitness center with an excellent selection of free weights and cardio equipment. A real winner for an unbeatable price!!"

"The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was huge with a balcony, and there's a car park available. The location is excellent, close to the city center and the train station. The service was very attentive; even when I put out the 'do not disturb' sign, they still left two bottles of mineral water at my door."

"Nice pool. Good service and amenities Bathrooms are dated but okay. Rooms are renovated. Parking can be a bit annoying during weekends. As central is full with shoppers. Airconditioning isn’t ice cold in all rooms ….. could be improved."

"A good, inexpensive chain hotel. I stayed here for three nights. It looks a little newer in the photos than it actually is. The staff are very friendly. There was no kettle in the room, so they helped me get hot water. The water pressure is good. The only downside is the location. Without transport, it's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest shop. It's 5-10 minutes to the city centre by motorbike."

"Had a good stay, hotel was modern and clean, peoce was cost efficient. Breakfast also included many options, and staff was accomodating when we noticed the eggs we had ordered cooked were still raw. I liked the pool as well, was clean and spacious enough for a family."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to many bars and restaurants. The room was acceptable though a bit outdated. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was decent, and I especially liked the orange juice—it was quite sweet and enjoyable."

"This hotel is a small-medium size in Morocco style, quite unique! The decoration is beautiful, especially , if you love photo taking. May be because of the style decoration, so it is hard to clean the room in every detail, so some dirt may be found. We stayed 2 nights during the time there was a big group of seminar guests, which leaded to the quality of tap water is not good at all that I felt. However, the staff at the front are service minded."
