"This hotel is conveniently located right next to Amsterdam Airport, and they offer a shuttle service. It's a small, converted Sprinter van with a compact luggage rack for larger bags. However, it's quite small, so if you have a lot of luggage, especially for a family or two traveling internationally with multiple large suitcases, it might be a squeeze. The shuttle departs from the hotel every hour on the hour or every half hour, and from the airport, it usually leaves around :15 and :45. I won't go into too much detail about the hotel itself, but the breakfast was good – they even had kimchi and rice, and someone to cook eggs and omelets to order, which was a nice touch. The gym is open 24/7, and the pool and sauna are available from 7 AM to 10 PM. I didn't get a chance to use those facilities. There's also parking available for around 20 euros a night. Overall, it's a good place and I recommend it!"
"Great design, perfect location for my next day flight and my room exceeded expectations. Very friendly welcome on check-in, good quality breakfast included which was a bonus. Only criticisms: spa had later than expected opening hours (10am) so disappointingly no time to visit (8am would have been perfect). Executive lounge had amazing service from staff, but for complimentary hors d'oeuvres and wines/other drinks it would be great if it was extended just one hour later (particularly as the Sheraton next door is until 9pm rather than 5-7pm for the Hilton). Lastly on room service, I was surprised to be asked if the order was for 1 or 2 people as there would be double room service charge applied if 2. I would have expected the charge to be per room, not per person. However, overall a good experience and would stay again."
"The location is pretty good. After exiting the airport, walk right for about five or six minutes where the hotel shuttle bus waits, and it's just across the road from the Sheraton. The room is small, but sufficient. Even though it's an airport view room, it's not noisy. The only issue was that they couldn't process my American Express card. I can use this card at other airports, so it's likely a problem with the hotel's POS machine that needs improvement. Other than that, everything was great. It saved me the hassle of traveling further."
"The Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center is indeed a good hotel, especially if you're looking for convenience when flying in or out of Schiphol Airport. Its biggest selling point is the location—it's directly connected to the terminal via a covered walkway, meaning you can roll out of bed and be at check-in or arrivals in just a few minutes. This makes it an excellent choice for layovers, early flights, or business travelers who value efficiency over exploring the city.
The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed in classic Sheraton style: plush beds, good soundproofing (crucial near an airport), decent workspaces, and modern amenities like fast Wi-Fi and coffee makers. Cleanliness is generally spot-on, and the staff are friendly and professional, often going out of their way to help with airport-related queries.
Facilities include a solid gym, sauna, and a conference center that's popular for events. The on-site restaurant and bar offer reliable food—nothing groundbreaking, but convenient and tasty enough for a quick meal.
Minor downsides: It's pricey for what it is (you're paying for the location), and it lacks the charm of downtown Amsterdam hotels since it's purely functional and airport-focused. If you're staying longer and want to sightsee, you'd be better off in the city center.
Overall, a solid, reliable option that delivers exactly what it promises. Recommended for transit stays!"
"Everything was perfect as usual; the spacious room, the friendly staff, the comfortable bed, the silence, the nearby forest, the generous breakfast, the food at the restaurant, the free shuttle bus to the airport....!
I can't recommend enough this hotel."
"Suitable for those transiting through the airport without a visa. Normally, you can stay for 12 hours; extended check-out is €10 per hour. Although the room is small and the water and sewage systems are noisy, it's still quite convenient for overnight transit.
PS: Located next to McDonald's in Terminal 2 Dgate lounge 2; the entrance is small and inconspicuous."
