Another lovely stay at Springwood. Fantastic views from the balcony, overlooking fields and out to the sea. Delicious breakfast, we were saddened to hear this establishment will be room only in the future. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely furnishings and exceptionally clean. Free parking is a real bonus for this area.

What a beautiful property! Such kind owners, stunning views, great communication and directions, and located in perfect proximity to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Dunstaburgh, and Lindisfarne (among others). Would stay here again in a heartbeat and use it as a base of operations for any Northumberland activities. I stayed two nights and regret leaving the region so quickly because of this property alone.

From arrival at Springwood B&B, until we left, the whole experience was first class. Ian and Marion are great hosts. Our bedroom was gorgeous, the breakfast was 5*, and the grounds around the property are picture postcard. Thank you both so much x

We’ve just spent 3 nights at Springwood B &B. We were met by Ian on arrival and shown to our room. We stayed in room 3 , the room itself is excellent and the shower was superb ! There’s a variety of breakfast options which again were superb. During breakfast Ian always engaged in conversation offering his local knowledge and advice. I would recommend this place happily to anyone. Mick & Jayne

Booked here basically because parking was included, which is near impossible in Seahouse . So glad we did, as it was perfect in every way, far exceeding expectations. Just a short flat walk into the centre. Breakfasts were superb - a great idea - think only three bedrooms and you book night before your time slot allowing 15 min between time choice. You choose your breakfast from menu night before - no problem. We only met the lady ‘host’ once on arrival - but ‘Mr’ Host is fabulous - very informative, helpful and couldn’t be more obliging. Room was excellent - everything possible provided from nail scissors, sewing kit, binoculars etc. have stayed in many excellent bed and breakfasts but cannot say any have been any better than this. Only thing missing was - no Marmite at breakfast!!! Will certainly return if visiting area again.

Breakfasts are excellent, you choose from an extensive tick off list the night before - there is something for every taste, apart from ‘Marmite’! The bacon was particularly excellent. Everything you could possibly have forgotten is supplied in bedroom, from nail scissors, sewing kit to binoculars. We have stayed at many excellent bed and breakfasts but never one actually better than this. Oh yes - it is also spotlessly clean - you are asked if you want the room serviced each morning - didn’t actually hear anyone say they did, we just asked for some fresh towels on day 3 - no problem. If in the area again, we will certainly stay again - well recommended Oh yes, watching the resident horses exercise each morning was an added bonus!

Excellent base for a comfortable holiday on the Northumberland coast. Friendly hosts and excellent facilities and breakfast. About a 10 minute walk into Seahouses.

It was an amazing find - everything about it was fabulous. Will definitely return
