"I ate here whilst holidaying in Sheringham. The food was excellent especially the steak and Barnsley chop cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. As a single traveler I felt welcomed and appreciated. Would recommend the two lifeboats to all."

Mount Lavinia

"Stayed here ,at Mount Lavinia for two nights.Easy, close parking. The room was just right- plenty of room, v.comfy bed , right amount of lights, sockets, T.v, two large comfortable arm chairs, tea, coffee, hairdryers, plenty of storage space- could even hide suitcases away! Nice clean bathroom, enough space,ledges , hooks etc. to settle things in! Breakfast downstairs, comfortable, plenty of choice - yoghurt, a few cereals, fresh fruit ,a choice of pastries, crumpet, buns, bread. And a lovely young girl Maya who was there to help, advise, chat. A very enjoyable stay, thankyou."

Burlington Berties

"We have just returned from a 2 night break. We were made very welcome, check in was quick and our room ready when we arrived. The hotel is short walk from the beach. The meals are excellent. Definitely. recommend the seafood board. Delicious. Breakfast selection was good. Sophie was very helpful recommending places to visit and where to park. We stopped off ar Rocky Bottoms (again recommend by Sally, for crab and Lobster to take home . Thank you for a lovely stay,will definitely be back."

The Burlington Collection

"Apartment was clean but poorly stocked for clothes storage and not enough crockery for 4 people. We paid £96 deposit which they said would be refunded after our visit but despite several emails and messages on their answaphone we have not received a refund. What is going on?"

Holway House

"Perfect host. Awesome Breakfast. Perfect stay. Lucy is an incredible host; so bubbly, knowledgeable and friendly as well as being very talented ( home made jams and choice of decor ). John is a brilliant cook. Our Full English breakfast was superb. The bacon definitely one of the best we've ever had anywhere. The fruit for breakfast was also top quality and there is a good choice of cereal and yogurt too as well as the home made jam and marmalade. We stayed in the first floor room 1 which was beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is a spar bath and shower in the bathroom. My first bath for over 5 years so that was very good. Holway House is nice and close to the town centre for walking to good places to eat in the evening and beach. It might be on a main road into Sheringham but the room was very quiet and we didn't hear any traffic noise. Thank you very much Lucy and John."
