"Old retro style beautiful vila. Reception guy had difficulty in communicating in English. Rooms were comfortable. There is no AC so can be an issue for few, however we kept the windows open for natural cool breeze. Breakfast buffet was delicious with good options. There is a cute cat staying in the vila premises which was adorable. Location is 10 mins walk from the station & close by to all attractions. Overall wonderful stay to feel old world charm."

"We ve been coming here since 2021 and initially the experience was a true 4* one. However, the quality of the hotel itself and of the services have gone down. We will not be returning next year. First of all, the lady at the front desk billed us for 4 persons city tax, when we were just 2. We realised only after i had paid, but being a small sum i said ok, no worries. We went up to the apartment - the elevator is sooooo slow - and we began unpacking and only after that we realised the living room had no door (it was just me and my mom but we chose the apt specifically for the comfort of each of us having her own room). We said ok, we won t bother them to change rooms after unpacking and using the toilets, towels, etc. Only to discover the AC was making a huge noise. I went down to the reception to politely ask what can be done and the guy didn t seem suprised - i believe they ve known about this issue but did nothing abt it. He offered to change rooms, which we did and appreciated (but what if there were no free rooms?). We moved to the new apt, this one had a door to the living room and looked better. We were happy. Until we realised the AC was dripping in 2 locations, like a constant drip drip drip noise in the hallway... They said someone would come to fix the AC the following day. But 2 rooms, 2 problems. Not acceptable when the hotel prides itself with 4* rating. Apart from this, there were small issues with the accomodation, like the lack of a toilet paper holder in one of the bathrooms. One has to lean forward from the toilet to get the toilet paper roll from next to the sink. Bad finishes at the bathroom mirror, floorboards - these did not bother us directly, but again, this is a place that has a 4* rating. And last but not least, the breakfast buffet, although offering a large variety of food, has the lowest quality of food. The cheapest things they could buy, they bought. The muffins/cake/waffles were dry and tastless. I did try the apple cake and the cherries tart and those were ok. Dirty water and coffee machines. The cleaning ladies were ok though, nice, immediately gave us a do not disturb sign after asking for one, asked us whether we needed anything else in the room. Servers were very nice as well. But the restaurant food was hit and miss. I had the schnitzel which was super tasty, the chicken skewers were also good, but the stir fry beef was horrible. This being said, when i called the waiter to take the beef back he was super nice about it and of course didnt put it on the check. i ordered the chicken schnitel instead and they gave me a double portion. We will not be returning unless conditions improve."
