"Nice location—just a 7–8 minute walk to Nord Station, making it easy to reach other cities. It’s also about a 15–20 minute walk to Grand Place, which is very convenient for shopping. The room was decent overall, and the mattress was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The only downside was the shower, as the water pressure was quite weak and could definitely be improved."

The Hoxton, Brussels
"I unfortunately had an awful experience at the Hoxton in Brussels. I had to change my room three times with no assistance due to a bad smell coming from the rooms. The matter was not taken seriously initially until a front desk employee came to check and agreed with me. My key card stopped working every time I used it. I had to get a new key card everytime I used the elevator. The issues costed me my time. I was travelling for work and lost vital time to explore the city because of these issues. Not impressed."

"The hotel room itself was very clean upon arrival and maid service was fantastic. The room was basic but met all of our needs. The bed was very comfy and extra pillows were supplied. The bathroom came equipped with a hairdryer and clean towels supplied every day. The shower head was broken and the design is slightly flawed, which meant the bathroom floor flooded upon use. This was perhaps only specific to our room. The location is central. It is a 20/30 minute walk to the grand palace. There is a tram stop right outside and a metro station 5 minute walk away. There are also 2 convenience stores on the street to buy drink and food from. Overall, this hotel was reliable and comfortable. I would definitely book again in the future."

"Decent Hotel just a short walk from the north or the center train stations. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good tv with a couple of English stations. Teakettle and coffee packets. Good water pressure in the shower but not the sink. Decent buffet breakfast."

"We book 3 rooms for 1 night but when we arrive hotel said only have confirmed from Trip.com 1 room 1 night so we need to wait long time. And we go out for dinner and come back around 10:30pm and still have 2 rooms and 1 room need to go another building without heater system in the room. 11:30pm we need to go reception to ask for support with 1 small heater ."

"My family and I stayed at this B&B and everything was wonderful. I have been there before as a solo traveller so I was happy to bring my wife and son with me this time. Great accommodations and location. Erick was a wonderful host as always and a great breakfast was served to get us started on our day’s adventures. We really appreciated the warm freshly cooked bread :-). Thanks for a great stay!"

"After travelling since the day before to get to Brussels, when we finally got to our hotel room desperate to rest, the overwhelming smell of damp greeted us as soon as we unlocked the door. The room was abysmal, to say the least, with damp, dust and dirty marks up every wall and all across the ceiling. The headboard looked like it had cigarette burns in it and the furnishing was just terrible, the bathroom being just as bad. My partner and I both have asthma, so damp is a massive issue for our health, so we requested another room to which we were told they could only offer us a twin room instead. Fine, can we see it first? And that room was not much better, with the added bonus of stained mattresses which I didn't think to look for in the first room. After half an hour of thinking, we chose to cut our losses and book a new (much nicer) hotel and check out, which the woman at reception did apologise for. Since coming back, we requested a refund through ******* due to health issues (my asthma was terrible for the rest of the trip due to the bad damp) which, after days of chasing the hotel, was denied. I have stayed in some dumps, but this place absolutely took the cake. Do not stay here."
