Travelodge Solihull
"Four of us stayed overnight for a short golf trip. Great value for nice clean comfy rooms, very good breakfast and lovely staff"
The Barn Hotel
"Amazing hotel - very clean and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend"
Travelodge Birmingham Airport
"Great stay after flight"
Manor Hotel Solihull, BW Signature Collection
"We were a wedding party and found we were accommodated quite well generally I.e the manager did open the bar for us on the Sunday evening where it us usually closed but there were a couple of issues within the party too. One couple had to change their room because of a very bad smell in theirs, another couple had an issue with the shower and toilet not working. All issues were promptly dealt with and resolved. In the restaurant they advertise children eat free yet 2 separate groups within our party were charged for them, these charges were removed when questioned but should not of been charged in the first place. The menu is quite extensive in the restaurant but unfortunately the quality of the food compared to the prices charged was not equal with some of the meals."
Ibis Birmingham Airport - NEC
"Wow the room that I had booked was absolutely lovely, it was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable, I had a really good nights sleep. The hotel is only a walk away from the airport terminal so i was able to have breakfast without having to be stressed for time. I will be returning in the near future for my next trip. The hotel is great value for money."
Novotel Birmingham Airport
"Was upgraded to an executive suite and was very pleasantly surprised. Just wish I could have spent longer there."
CBH Hogarths Hotel Solihull
"Very comfortable hotel room, quite a wait for food at breakfast but good food."
Arden Hotel and Leisure Club
"This hotel has seen better days unfortunately.. Maybe it was once a main hotel chain but the current owners are struggling to keep on top of issues. .The first room offered to me had a mouldy damp smell. The second option was better . But overall I couldn't recommend a stay here."
Premier Inn Solihull (Hockley Heath, M42)
"Lovely stay for 1 night at this premier inn. My daughter’s (9) words were “this is the best premier inn we have stayed in!” Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were missing a set of towels in the bathroom and our child’s bed hadn’t been made up but asked at reception and both issues were resolved immediately, and willingly :) Rooms are the new style and in really great condition. The hotel was very quiet especially for a Saturday evening. We had the meal deal and this really saved us some money, food at dinner time was good and they were happy to oblige our odd little requests when ordering our meals! Breakfast was fab, everything kept topped up and hot food was to order so much fresher than when kept out on the buffet. Everyone served us with a smile and they bought round a little Father’s Day chocolate treat to the table at breakfast. Thank you to all the staff who served us over the weekend, we had a really great stay:)"

Royal Square Hotel - NEC & Birmingham Airport
"I never properly had hot water in a 3 days stay. Room was very very hot and couldn't get much sleep. Continental breakfast has almost no options. The main (only?) positive things of this hotel are location and price. If strongly suggest increase your budget if possible and stay at an Ibis, Holliday Inn or Travelodge."
Premier Inn Solihull South (M42)
"Very friendly and helpful staff. My meal was delicious including my ice cream Sunday. The best one I have ever had just perfect on a hot day. My room was cool as the fan had been turned on in advance of me checking in. The new restaurant/bar area was so much nicer than having to go to a pub Nextdoor. Definitely one I will visit again."
The White Lion Inn
"Very tired and dated accommodation, can't fault the staff and food was good. The room was not worth the £120 price tag, I accept that it is a 500 year old building in places but that doesn't excuse the poor decor and smelly drainage system on this day n age."
Barncroft Luxury Bed & Breakfast
The Regency Hotel
"I was very unhappy with my stay at this hotel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable — the mattress was so thin and worn out that I could actually feel the base underneath. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was also in terrible condition. It was not clean at all, and I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a shower. For the price and the expectations I had, this was a huge letdown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or hygienic stay. Definitely not worth it."
Forest Hotel
"My Dear Friends got Married at the Forest Hotel on the 17th June. I have to say from the time we arrived until we left, we had nothing but respect, helpfulness and politeness from all the staff. They looked after us so well. There was a young Man who absolutely run around, I think his name was Jonathan, nothing was too much trouble. Even the lovely girls who clean d our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Food was gorgeous as well."
Church Farm Accommodation
"Great stay and a fantastic host made this the perfect weekend. The accommodation was just what we needed and the cooked breakfast, containing bacon, sausage, egg and beans was a huge bonus . A great place If you are looking to fly from Birmingham airport too, as it’s literally a stone’s throw!"
RS Prime Homestay
Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport
"A lovely hotel, a three-minute walk to the airport. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The reception staff are friendly."
Hampton Manor
Old Hall House, NEC
"A very pleasant experience, and planning to stay again.. because the atmosphere is very peaceful and calm. The staff is also very friendly. There are kitchen facilities too."
