Holiday Inn BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT - NEC by IHG
"Lovely stay and venue for a family wedding event"
Travelodge Solihull
"Broken chair causing me to fall, not enough thought/consultation with disabled customers on the design/equipping of the room, mattress although very soft and great nights sleep, was too soft for disabled person to sit on or get out of easily. The toilet roll was mounted behind your right shoulder making it almost impossible for a disabled person to reach safely..The coffee machine was great, hair dryer great, TV well placed, non office chair was comfy."
Ibis Birmingham Airport - NEC
"Booked the ibis and got put into the ibis budget rooms which was not what we had booked. No help from ibis staff who checked their system and we had been out in the wrong room so signposted us to trip. No offer to pay a fee to change rooms just rebook and pay again. Trip who we booked with were not contactable. Be careful using third party booking sites as they charged for one thing and booked us something else. Won't use either ibis or trip again."
Arden Hotel and Leisure Club
"I stayed at Arden before a flight, it was close to the airport and suited my needs for somewhere to sleep. The check in staff were helpful and processed everything smoothly."
Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport
"Arrived late but reception was on the ball with booking. Quick & easy to get the room sorted. Helpful staff. Clean room. Good experience."
Novotel Birmingham Airport
"Friendly staff, clean room and a great location! It’s approximately. 2 minute walk to the departures terminal at Birmingham airport. Perfect to have a little longer sleep before check ins in for flights. We will be back"
Travelodge Birmingham Airport
"Good hotel for visiting the NEC Need a taxi to go there but no prenlem"
Royal Square Hotel - NEC & Birmingham Airport
"Very close to the airport in a quiet area. Clean room and a good place to rest for one night or two."
Solihull Town Centre
"We were searching for a place that could accommodate a large group of 22 for breakfast, and Premier Inn Solihull exceeded all expectations from the very start. When I called to enquire, the team couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. On the day, they had thoughtfully arranged a separate area just for us, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and well-organised. The service was absolutely outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The food itself was fantastic — fresh, delicious, and offering incredible value for money. It’s not often you find a place that delivers so well on both quality and service, especially for a group of our size. A huge thank you to Sean and Jodie, who made the experience extra special. We’ll most definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!"

Ibis Budget Birmingham Airport - NEC
"The hotel was very friendly. They let me store my large amount of luggage downstairs in their store room. The bedroom was basic but adequate. It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea and coffee. Instead you had to go to another floor to find the coffee machine. I did not eat at the hotel. There was a restaurant and bar. The room was clean and warm. Ideal for one night before an early flight."

Greswolde Arms by Chef & Brewer Collection
Haigs Hotel
"My wife & I paid extra & booked a "superior" room & whilst it was somewhat dated & a little scruffy it was okay, that is until we entered the bathroom. The shelf above the toilet & sink had partly collapsed & there was a half inch gap around it. Some tiles were cracked & the sealant around the sink & toilet where they met the floor had been applied extremely roughly, obviously not done by a tradesman as it was so shoddy. The toilet only half flushed, possibly there was a brick in the system to save water, but if so it didn't work because it had to be flushed twice on every use. The shower didn't work as it was lukewarm at best, despite pulling the separate cord to switch it on, so we had to use the bath. We decided to stay as the bedroom was adequate & the hotel has several eating establishments & convenience shops just around the corner, free parking & the wi-fi was okay. The first two nights were okay & it was quiet & we got a good nights sleep, but for the last two nights some people with dogs moved into the room next door & they were noisy, & someone moved into the room above us & whilst the person wasn't nosy, the floorboards creaked & we were woken up early both mornings by them. Throughout the hotel the doors banged - this could easily be solve by fitting soft closures to them. There were no coat hooks in the room, again easily solved in a few minutes. The hotel seems to get good reviews for the dining, of which we didn't partake, & it's such a shame as with a bit of attention (by tradesman not DIY owners) it could be made so much better as it is very well situated (only 5 minutes drive to the NCC. Having spent four nights here we moved to a Premier Inn just up the road & it was so, so much better."
Strawberry Bank Hotel, NEC
Redwings Lodge Solihull
"The lodge has some history so the facilities is a bit old, but the condition is acceptable, given the price."
Old Hall House, NEC
"A very pleasant experience, and planning to stay again.. because the atmosphere is very peaceful and calm. The staff is also very friendly. There are kitchen facilities too."
The Barn Hotel
"Amazing hotel - very clean and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend"
The White Lion Inn
"Very tired and dated accommodation, can't fault the staff and food was good. The room was not worth the £120 price tag, I accept that it is a 500 year old building in places but that doesn't excuse the poor decor and smelly drainage system on this day n age."
