I was very satisfied and stayed here again on my trip to Tokyo. The breakfast was delicious, the transportation was very convenient, the staff service was excellent, and I slept comfortably. Suidobashi Station is right outside, and Tokyo Dome is behind it, which is great for shopping. It's really convenient to go anywhere from here. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Tokyo.

This hotel boasts a prime location right by Shinjuku South Exit, a mere 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. There's also a skybridge directly connecting it to Takashimaya Department Store, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The reception is located on the 20th floor, and all guest rooms are situated from the 22nd floor upwards. These rooms are noticeably more spacious than typical Tokyo hotels, with well-equipped bathrooms. High-floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the city's nightscape. The buffet breakfast, served in the scenic restaurant, receives rave reviews for its freshly made omelets, and caters to both Japanese and Western palates. The staff are warm and attentive, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay away from the city's hustle and bustle. It's an outstanding choice for accommodation in Shinjuku, whether you're sightseeing or just passing through.

This place was about 100 steps from Shibuya Crossing. Perfect for our first time in Tokyo. Since it’s in the heart of Shibuya, it is a great central location to go exploring and shopping. If you can, get the breakfast that comes with your stay. The restaurant is on the 25th floor and has an amazing view of the city. Don’t get to breakfast late, as they will stop serving food by 9:30 and will not seat you.  The hotel sits on top of a mall, so you can literally shop and dine in the same building without having to leave the premises. It is also connected via walkway to Shibuya Station, so young even have to go to the ground floor.  The only thing that’s tricky is finding the entrances. But once you know where the lobby is on the 5th floor, then head to that side of the building and you’ll find the elevators to get to the lobby.  If you plan to stay in Shibuya, consider this place.

Location of this hotel is remarkable and within 7 mins walking distance to Shinjuku Station and Expressway Bus Terminal. There’s also 2 convenient store near hotels (Lawson & Family Mart) + McDonalds and Wendy’s Burger Cafe. Hot and cold water dispenser on every floor for easy access. I will always stay at this hotel whenever I am in Tokyo. Staff were also friendly and readily to assist you in check-in and luggage storage. Good security system as room card is required to tap on reader in the lift to get to your designated floor and room. After 10pm, the main door of hotel is also locked and requires room card to enter the hotel entrance and lobby.

This 4-star hotel feels like a 5-star! It's a newly built hotel from 2020. The breakfast is great, and there's a mall nearby for all your dining, shopping, and entertainment needs. It's also very close to the exhibition center, just about a 15-minute walk. Highly recommended!

YOTEL Tokyo Ginza

I had an excellent stay at YOTEL Tokyo Ginza and would absolutely stay here again. From the moment I arrived, the service and accommodations exceeded my expectations. The luggage storage option was incredibly convenient and made it easy to enjoy the city before check-in and after check-out without having to drag my bags around Tokyo. One of the highlights of my stay was the restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and it was a great option whether I wanted a quick bite or a relaxed meal. The on-site bar was another standout feature—perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. I also really appreciated the late checkout accommodation, which added a level of flexibility and comfort that made my departure day much less stressful. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and recharge. Overall, every aspect of the experience felt well worth the cost. If you’re looking for a modern hotel with great amenities, excellent service, and a convenient location, I highly recommend YOTEL Ginza. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The hotel is very close to Ginza, just a 350-meter walk around the corner to Matsuya Department Store. The room was indeed very small, but it had a feminine style. There's a coffee machine in the room, and they provide two bottles of mineral water daily. Breakfast is a Western-style semi-buffet; the presentation is beautiful, and the taste is pretty good, though I personally prefer Japanese breakfast. It's about a 600-meter walk from JR Yurakucho Station to the hotel. It's not convenient with luggage, so a taxi costs around 500 yen for the minimum fare.

A lovely hotel that I would stay at again. I booked the bunk bed, which my roommate and I felt really comfortable in. Staff were quite friendly and most understood/could speak English. It says self check-in on the booking page but there was someone present to help us through the check-in process. Note that there's an accommodation tax (900 yen per person) that needs to be paid on check-in. Since we stayed for more than five days, they did full housekeeping (changing bedsheets) for two out of the eight days. However, they also were able to provide fresh towels and clear trash daily (we just put their provided magnetic notice on the door and left the items at the entryway). Showers were small, but amazing. They provide a day's worth of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an electric kettle, a microwave, plates, utensils, cups, scissors, detergent, and two pairs of room slippers. There was an HDTV (with an HDMI port) that we directly connected to Netflix (no need to logout) as well. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk away from Ryogoku station and 11 mins from Asakusa station. If you have a really physical day or have hefty luggage, then this might feel a bit far, but the area generally feels safe, and you get to cross the bridge over the Sumida river to/from Asakusa, which is nice. Other things to note: There is one shared washing machine for the whole hotel that's free to use, and it takes about 2H per wash and tumble dry cycle. There was no quick wash setting. We had to do ours in the wee hours because other guests were quicker to use them in the ”prime” hours (7-9am and 8pm-12mn). A QR code and/or number code is used to unlock your door's digital lock. It's also used for checkout, so save the sheet of paper they issue. Otherwise, remember to take a picture as there's no service staff after a certain time and they will lock the doors to the entrance where the only way to get in is the issued code. Someone pressed the fire alarm accidentally one morning, which brought the fire department, ambulance and police to the hotel and the alert was deafening and heard neighbourhood-wide. Look carefully before you press/lean on a surface - there's no covering on the alarm button, but it is in the centre of a giant red circle. It was an eventful morning but we did not enjoy running down and climbing up 8-storeys worth of stairs (they shut the elevators in emergencies). Overall, a relaxing, cool vibe that feels clean and cozy.

While this hotel has a convenient location, the experience was ruined by a lack of basic hospitality and very cramped quarters. The room was so small it was difficult to even open two large suitcases. More disappointing, however, was the staff’s attitude. Everything is followed strictly 'by the book' with zero flexibility. I was told a late check-out would be charged by the hour, and even a simple request for a complimentary bottle of water was flatly denied. The staff were condescending and never offered a smile, making for a very unwelcoming environment. A small gesture like a bottle of water costs almost nothing but earns customer loyalty; unfortunately, this hotel chooses rigid rules over guest satisfaction. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Shinjuku's Kabukicho, very close to Shinjuku-sanchome subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The room is a good size, clean, and tidied daily. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.
