We come and stay at this hotel almost every time we come to Japan and probably 4 times/year!
The reason? It’s because…
-very convenient location just by HND airport T3
-roof top hot spring with stunning view and clean environment!
-very clean room with necessary amenities although room is a bit small, they have everything we need for our short stay!
The only complains I had this time is that at the time of check-in I asked if our room is closer to the lift or not. Then a lady kindly check and arranged a different room but I found out that the room we received was very close to the lift again…not sure if she understood my request or not…but fortunately this time it wasn’t that noisy so we were able to sleep.
Anyways other than that it was all good and we will look forward to returning and enjoying our stay here!"

"Stayed here a few times. Very convenient location, take airport limousine bus that alight you at the hotel. About 10-15 mins walk to Shinjuku station via underground link. Extremely convenient, no problem rain or shine. Room feels a bit aged but overall maintenance still good. Overall another pleasant stay."

"I booked 2 separate bookings cause we traveled to hokkaido in the middle. Once I got back and checkin again the hotel already prepared the room and move my baggage to the new room already. Love the service and the location. This was my 6th time with the hotel. Still love it."

"The outside of the building is huge. There are so many amenities to choose from at reception. Definitely gives the impression its a 4* hotel. When I got into my room I could see rust and marks in the bathroom, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I wasn't pleased that the WiFi kept cutting out constantly. Now I got the impression it was a 2-3* hotel. Room service was excellent until the last night when they forgot to leave a night dress. The location is excellent, very close to the station and surrounded by shops. There's an amazon locker close by which helps with my online shopping addiction lol. I forgot to take a picture of the hotel and the amazing view but I got one of the symbol in the front garden."

"This was my second stay at a Prince Hotel. My first experience was at the Onarimon branch near Tokyo Tower, which left a great impression.
I arrived in Tokyo for a business trip past 8 PM. After dinner with a client at a small restaurant near Shinagawa, I checked in around 10 PM.
Room 52719 offered a night view, though I was too late to fully take it in. The next morning, I woke up to a clear view of Tokyo Tower.
The hotel complex consists of several buildings: the East Tower, Main Tower, North Tower, and the Annex. The Main Tower's breakfast area was very crowded. The Annex, however, was a bit less congested and offered a convenient direct passage to Shinagawa Station.
The room facilities were a bit dated. It had a bathtub, a refrigerator, and an ice bucket, but I was too late to make use of them.
The next morning, I had to be at my client's by 9:30 AM, so after a quick breakfast, I checked my luggage and rushed off. Upon returning to retrieve my bags, I made use of the lounge area to charge my phone and catch up on some emails before heading straight to the airport.
Location: Directly across from Shinagawa Station's West Exit.
Wi-Fi: Excellent speed."

Choosing Shinjuku Granbell Hotel for my Tokyo trip was a brilliant decision! It's located right in the heart of Kabukicho, just a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, with countless dining and shopping options nearby. The rooms have a modern minimalist design, are fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. While not overly spacious, for Tokyo, the value for money at this price point is excellent. The 12th-floor restaurant offers a Japanese and Western buffet breakfast with a view of Shinjuku's nightscape, and the 13th-floor rooftop bar is an even more spectacular spot for views. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful with all my questions. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shinjuku!"

"It's quite close to Ueno Station, so transportation is pretty convenient. The room size is decent; you can open two suitcases at once. The restaurant on the first floor is always full. I tried lunch there once, and it was okay, but the desserts were particularly good. The service was great; I accidentally booked an extra night, and the lady at the front desk said she could help negotiate a free cancellation. It's more cost-effective to book when Trip.com has promotions."

RRebeccalijieThe hotel is very close to Ryogoku Station, just a few minutes' walk, which makes getting around super convenient. For dining, you can head to Ryogoku Station; there's a whole street with restaurants, drugstores, and 100-yen shops, giving it a real local feel.
The hotel itself is quite new, and the rooms are spacious for Tokyo standards. There are a few Chinese staff members on our floor, which made communication very smooth. Each floor also has a vending machine and an ice machine, a really nice touch! Our room included breakfast; you order one set and then can grab other items buffet-style. After four consecutive days of Japanese food, I absolutely loved having a Western breakfast option!

MMeilirensheng1977I chose this hotel for its location in Akihabara, and I was absolutely delighted. It's incredibly convenient for accessing the JR station and all the shopping spots within Akihabara from here.
Next, the hotel breakfast, while not offering a vast selection, was absolutely delicious and freshly made. It was a real pleasure to enjoy a wonderful meal each morning before heading out for shopping.
I must also commend the hotel's service; this stay truly allowed me to experience genuine Japanese hospitality. The incident unfolded like this: two maintenance staff members attempted to enter our room for repairs before we had checked out. Upon realizing we were still inside, they profusely apologized and stopped at the door. At the time, we didn't give it much thought, but to our surprise, a staff member called shortly after to apologize again. Then, when we checked out, the entire staff, including the manager, gathered to offer another sincere apology. This truly demonstrated their profound respect for their guests. They even assisted us with arranging a taxi when we departed.
I must give a special shout-out to their manager, Masato Sugimura, and a wonderful young lady from Hong Kong, who both provided outstanding service throughout our stay. 👍

They accepted our bags the day prior and even froze some foods I wanted to take home with me and sent a bag to my next destination for me. They even have a 7-11 on the first floor, very convenient! Views were amazing and room amenities were great!
Drawbacks are: no microwaves or laundry machines for personal/guest use, but they do have laundry service. You also enter from ground/2nd floor and go to the 20th floor for reception, then cross over the lobby to get to guest rooms. A little bit of a hassle but not too bad. Bathroom door wouldn't stay open and it was hard to open the closet as there were no door handles but everything else was up to standard in the rooms.

JjudaeaThe hotel's location is superb, a quiet haven amidst the city's buzz, with Shinjuku's main commercial area within walking distance. Airport bus stops and subway stations are also just a few minutes' walk away.
As expected, the hotel's cleanliness was up to Japanese standards. The service was attentive; upon check-in, the air conditioning had already been turned on, creating a comfortable environment. Toiletries provided were from P*OLA, and other personal care items were available for self-collection.
Highly recommended; it will be my top choice for my next stay.

Room is reasonable, clean and come with amenities. If travel tokyo local, can buy 2 days or 3 days pass, since hotel next door is E27 station, easy access to trasfer and visit many places as we wish.

YYu Ting PearlynA lovely hotel that I would stay at again. I booked the bunk bed, which my roommate and I felt really comfortable in. Staff were quite friendly and most understood/could speak English. It says self check-in on the booking page but there was someone present to help us through the check-in process. Note that there's an accommodation tax (900 yen per person) that needs to be paid on check-in.
Since we stayed for more than five days, they did full housekeeping (changing bedsheets) for two out of the eight days. However, they also were able to provide fresh towels and clear trash daily (we just put their provided magnetic notice on the door and left the items at the entryway). Showers were small, but amazing. They provide a day's worth of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an electric kettle, a microwave, plates, utensils, cups, scissors, detergent, and two pairs of room slippers. There was an HDTV (with an HDMI port) that we directly connected to Netflix (no need to logout) as well.
This hotel is about an 8 minute walk away from Ryogoku station and 11 mins from Asakusa station. If you have a really physical day or have hefty luggage, then this might feel a bit far, but the area generally feels safe, and you get to cross the bridge over the Sumida river to/from Asakusa, which is nice.
Other things to note:
There is one shared washing machine for the whole hotel that's free to use, and it takes about 2H per wash and tumble dry cycle. There was no quick wash setting. We had to do ours in the wee hours because other guests were quicker to use them in the ”prime” hours (7-9am and 8pm-12mn).
A QR code and/or number code is used to unlock your door's digital lock. It's also used for checkout, so save the sheet of paper they issue. Otherwise, remember to take a picture as there's no service staff after a certain time and they will lock the doors to the entrance where the only way to get in is the issued code.
Someone pressed the fire alarm accidentally one morning, which brought the fire department, ambulance and police to the hotel and the alert was deafening and heard neighbourhood-wide. Look carefully before you press/lean on a surface - there's no covering on the alarm button, but it is in the centre of a giant red circle. It was an eventful morning but we did not enjoy running down and climbing up 8-storeys worth of stairs (they shut the elevators in emergencies).
Overall, a relaxing, cool vibe that feels clean and cozy.

Hotel new, modern and clean.
Check in is done via a machine. It took a few goes as it wouldn’t create the keys. Because of that you don’t really get a personal service. Had to ask about breakfast to ensure it was included and check the opening times.
Room is small. I knew that going into it. Nowhere to put a large case. We had two large and two small and it was a case of constantly stepping over cases. If you are only staying a couple of days then it’s fine. I wouldn’t do it for any longer.
Room very modern. Bed was electric and could rise and fall depending on needs. I don’t really like rooms where you don’t have a separate wash basin / toilet and shower so that is another mark down in rating.
We didn’t realise until the second day that we had not been given the amenities. As on the second day toothbrushes and slippers appeared. You generally get these in all hotels.
Air con was either too powerful or the room was too hot. There was no comfortable middle ground.
Check out wouldn’t work on the automated machine, the staff made us try again even though it wouldn’t work.
Overall it was nice to have a modern and clean room but I really prefer more space. And a more personal service

At approximately 15.6 sqm, the room felt noticeably more spacious compared to the typical 10 sqm rooms often found in other business hotels nearby. The hotel seemed to attract a lot of international guests. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on the 13th floor (300 JPY for a wash, 100 JPY for drying), though it tends to get quite busy in the evenings. There's a small gym on the third floor, which I considered a nice bonus. Breakfast was decent, and the restaurant also serves lunch. My only minor complaint is that, despite being a non-smoking room, I could faintly detect a smoky smell on the bath towels and pillows.

2min walk to Shibuya station (though the actual train line is probably another 10min walk away).
10min walk to Shibuya scramble.
10min walk to Harajuku and 15min walk to Omotesando, 18min walk to Harajuku/ Takeshita street.
30min train ride to Ginza.
Overall SUPERB location to explore those areas of Tokyo.
Right across the hotel is a mall (Miyashita Park) and of course all the convenience stores within a 3-5min walk.
TIP: There is a airport bus shuttle (USD22/one way) at Shibuya station. It looks walkable on the map, but if you have 2-3 luggage, it would be a great challenge to navigate through the human jungle to the shuttle bus pick up point. I would highly suggest taking a cab to the bus station :) It's about a 1.5 hour very comfortable journey, including one other hotel pick up. There is a locked luggage store room at the hotel lobby, so you can leave your bags there after check out.
ROOM
Room is functional and well maintained. And most importantly - CLEAN, with 4 pillows! Bed was firm and comfortable.
I stayed in a 11sqm room, at first I was very apprehensive about being cooped up in a capsule type of room, but the design and layout made the room spaces very usable - for one big luggage, and a cabin size luggage. The room was very clean, bare amenities - but more than enough - slippers, pajamas, tooth brush and tooth paste, 1 body towel and 1 hand towel. The shower had a rain bath and bath gel/ shampoo. Rest of the room had a fridge, safe and hair dryer.
Check in was done via a machine on the second floor and there is a cafe on that same level. Even though check in was automated, there are very friendly staff there to assist.
Rooms are well sound insulated so there was not much noise from the street (from 10th floor) and no noise from the rooms next door, only noise was from the vacuuming (after 10am) from room service.
TV has pre-installed Youtube and Netflix.
