The room was fantastic, with direct access to the beach right outside! The only minor issue was that the bed was a bit old and creaked whenever I moved, but everything else was absolutely perfect! It was such a great value for money trip!

This hotel is fantastic! Absolutely value for money! It’s clean and moderately new. Staffs are friendly The hotel is not situated along the main road, or near the beach (which is about 15mins walk). However there are restaurants and grocery shop right opposite the hotel. My room is at level 1, with direct access to the pool. The room is spacious I would definitely recommend to everyone!

The room was great, and the front desk staff were all very polite. The rooftop pool also offered nice views. It's about a 10-minute walk to the shopping mall, which is acceptable. Overall, it was a good stay.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, and this is my sixth time staying here. The place is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is excellent. All the staff were cooperative and friendly. I would like to extend my thanks to all the staff in general, and specifically to Ms. Cha for her high professionalism, kindness, and her constant eagerness to help with a smile. She was quick to respond to my requests and made my stay more comfortable and exceptional. I thank her for her excellent attention, and I will be returning to the hotel again on July 27th, thanks to the excellent level of service.

The most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Phuket!!! Stayed for 5 consecutive days, and the experience was 100 out of 100!!! Upon entering the hotel, the front desk service was excellent, especially the two gentlemen who greeted guests at the entrance. Every time we passed by with our child, they would enthusiastically say hello and entertain the little one (I forgot to take a picture of the other gentleman). My son is mischievous and loves to run around, and they would always keep an eye on his safety and stop him if there was any danger! When we checked out and were waiting in the lobby, they immediately came over to turn on the electric fan for us, which was very thoughtful! As for the room, it might not have the latest trendy decor, but it was very clean and spacious. It had both a shower and a bathtub. The living balcony was also large, with a dedicated rod for drying clothes. Looking down from the balcony, you could see the pool, which was a great view! The hotel has children's play facilities, and my son had a lot of fun. The pool was also very clean; when I dived in, the water was crystal clear. I saw staff cleaning the pool every day. Of course, the cleaning staff were also very friendly; every time we passed them in the hallway, they would all enthusiastically greet us. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. It was exactly to my liking, with a rich variety of options and all sorts of fruits. The food was different every day! Fried rice, noodles, various meats, vegetables, yogurt, orange juice, milk, fried eggs, etc... The hotel provides a shuttle service to the beach every day, which takes only a few minutes. There are fixed time slots for pick-up and drop-off. What impressed me the most: when we were returning at 1:30 PM, as soon as we walked from the beach to the shore, the driver (the front desk gentleman in my picture) was already waiting for us by the road. When he saw us on shore, he specially got out of the car to greet us and even held my child's hand to help him into the car. It was so heartwarming, so I absolutely have to leave a positive review for Aurico Kata Resort & Spa! Because you deserve it!!! If I have the chance to visit Phuket again, I will definitely book with Aurico Kata Resort & Spa again!!!

Its location is excellent, very close to Arab Street. The staff are cheerful and kind, but the downside to the room is that the bathroom isn't clean and needs maintenance. I didn't use the swimming pool because there were always Indians soaking themselves in it. And I can't forget how close it is to 7-Eleven, which is important.

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes' walk from Surin Beach, in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Taxis are readily available for easy travel to various destinations. The waves at the beach can be quite strong, so swimmers should be mindful of the tides. The staff are friendly and practical, responding efficiently to requests, making our stay feel secure and attentive. The resort is enveloped in tropical greenery and features multiple swimming pools, including a large waterslide and a well-equipped children's pool, making it ideal for families. The pools have an irregular, winding design, and some areas can get crowded. There's also a poolside bar offering light meals and drinks. While the facilities show their age, this hotel is a high-value option within IHG, especially for those prioritizing convenience and family fun. Guests seeking luxurious, new amenities might find it slightly underwhelming.

We stayed here for five nights and I'm so glad I chose this resort. There are three resorts on the island, each with a beach, but Banraya has the most atmospheric resort vibe due to its unique landscape. Every corner is picturesque, and it feels more interesting than the other two resorts. The beach in front of The Racha is the most beautiful on the island, but if we had stayed there, we definitely wouldn't have explored other beaches, and we would have missed out on Banraya's stunning scenery. I'm so glad I picked this place. We could walk to The Racha's beach or other beaches, it only took about ten minutes. We could also add the front desk's WeChat to have them send a motorbike to pick us up anytime for a very cheap price of 50 baht. Of course, you could also rent a motorbike for 500 baht a day. Regarding hygiene, I think it was decent. The bedding was clean. Every day after check-out, the staff even dried the pillows outdoors for a few hours. As for facilities, it definitely can't compare to The Racha. After all, this is an outlying island. Hotels on the main island of Phuket certainly have much better facilities, but that's understandable. At night, peacocks would call outside our window, which was very entertaining. Sometimes they even strolled right in front of our room. The restaurant service was truly excellent. The young man at the restaurant front desk spoke very good Chinese and seemed to be well-versed in Chinese etiquette and hospitality. He was always very enthusiastic whenever we went, and the other staff were also very friendly. I am very satisfied and feel I made the best choice. After five days here, I felt very relaxed and happy! As an additional note, we also visited several islands near Phuket, and the water at Racha Island was the most beautiful. I really recommend staying on Racha Island for a few days.

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing. Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.          

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well maintained, which I truly appreciate. You can tell the resort takes good care of what it has. The location is generally fine, though the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t the best. Patong Beach is about a 300+ meter walk away, which is manageable, just something to note for guests who expect a beachfront swimming spot. The only part that slightly affected our experience was the shuttle service — not a big issue, but a memorable one. On 1 February, around 5:30 PM, we informed the front desk that we needed the 6:30 PM shuttle to Bangla Street. We even confirmed it twice and were told to sit and wait, as the staff would notify us when the shuttle arrived. We made sure they knew exactly where we were waiting. By 7:00 PM, after no update, we went back to the front desk only to be told that the shuttle had already left. The staff apologized and admitted she had overlooked us, and arranged the next shuttle. Nothing serious — just an unexpected extra 30 minutes of “resort relaxation time” we hadn’t planned for. 😊 Still, aside from this hiccup, the stay was comfortable, and with a bit more attention to shuttle coordination, the experience would be even better.
