"I cannot say enough how great the stay at the Asia International Hotel. I arrived in a panic because I was 40RMB short for my long hour and a half taxi ride, but the concierge Ricky came out to the taxi and paid the remainder from his very own money. I was then able to exchange Australian dollars for Chinese RMB and pay Ricky back. Things like this do not happen. The whole staff were amazing and ever so helpful. I only stayed 1 night but the breakfast was absolutely so extensive and so enjoyable in the restaurant on the 45th floor where you could view a 360 view of the whole of Guangzhou. We will definitely be staying at the Asia International Hotel the next time we are in Guangzhou. Thank you so very much."

"We have a very good stay in Ascott IFC. Its in the center location near by Huacheng square, just a few walk to the big square where you can enjoy the view of Canton tower. Nearby is big restaurant mall called Mall of the world. However if you go metro its little hard to find the location.
The hotel room is very spacious for a family, the room was clean, full of ammenties, indoor swimming pool and the breakfast was nice. We stayed for 2 nights, they changed the breakfast everyday. No difficulties for the language. cause staffs can speak english. They provide very good cake for my wife birthday. The hotel service was excellent. I wanna give 9.5 ratings only due to metro distance. I would recommend this hotel.
Hope to stay again in this hotel, if I come back to Guangzhou again."

It's also close to attractions like Canton Tower and the Guangdong Museum. The hotel offers laundry facilities and a gym.

We picked Rosewood mainly because of its great location. It was super close to where we needed to be for our appointments. Plus, it’s near Canton Tower and directly connected to K11, which made it really convenient to just pop downstairs for shopping or meals.
The room had a moody, dimly lit vibe mixed with modern Chinese touches—stylish and cozy. There were lots of clever little design details, like a calligraphy brush that doubles as a stylus when you remove the tip. My kid absolutely loved that!
During our stay, the staff were patient, friendly, and pretty quick to respond. The service matched what you’d expect at this price point—nothing over the top, but definitely solid. It felt like, ”Yeah, it’s good, but no big surprises.”

The hotel’s breakfast buffet was the highlight for my little one. There was a great variety of food—fresh and tasty. Best of all, we got to enjoy the city view while eating. The seating was well spaced, so it never felt crowded or noisy. We really enjoy the breakfast and had such good time .
【Safety Hazard】
The only downside was the bathroom layout—it’s a bit of a safety issue. There are two very low steps between the bathroom entrance and the shower area. Both my kid and I almost tripped. Even though there’s a non-slip strip on the floor as a warning, it doesn’t help much. Just a heads-up—be careful when you walking in.
【Heads-Up! Skip Lunch at the Western Restaurant】
Since we were short on time, we had lunch at the same restaurant where breakfast is served. It’s à la carte for lunch, and the experience was just okay. The food was nothing special, and the staff seemed busy but not very attentive—it was hard to get their attention. Our lobster pasta took over 40 minutes to arrive, and no one warned us about the wait. My kid got so hungry, he ended up filling up on bread. By the time the pasta came, he was already full. Unless you’re really into the enviroment, otherwise I'm really not recommend.

MM223572****This time I brought my two kids to a comic convention and chose the Guangdong Hotel. First off, the location is great; it's only a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It's also very convenient and close to the exhibition hall. The room was clean, spacious, and decorated in a Chinese style, which the kids really liked. We even got a free room upgrade, which we really appreciate! A special shout-out to how quiet the room was – the soundproofing on the windows is excellent. I slept soundly until morning, truly living up to its five-star hotel reputation. Oh, and you can even see the Canton Tower at night from the room. I'll definitely choose Guangdong Hotel again for the next comic convention!

MM309874****This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel's personalized butler service completely exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out, they were incredibly attentive. Whether it was arranging transportation or needing a document printed last minute, the butler was always quick to respond, and issues were resolved efficiently, which saved me a lot of hassle. The room facilities were also excellent; the bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom amenities were high quality, and even the charging ports were thoughtfully placed – full marks for attention to detail. Every afternoon, we enjoyed an exquisite afternoon tea with a lovely selection of desserts and drinks. And if we got hungry at night, there was a warm, comforting late-night snack served, just the right portion and delicious. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

MM11615****This time we chose the Four Seasons for our family trip, and honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. The facilities are indeed excellent, with great attention to detail, and the housekeeping staff was responsive and very polite. I had originally booked a Deluxe City View Twin Room. The front desk offered an upgrade to a room with a view of the Canton Tower for an extra 699, so I casually asked if a free upgrade was possible. Their response felt very stiff; they said no, stating that you only get the Canton Tower view if you upgrade. To be honest, when I stayed at the Rosewood, I booked a room directly facing the Canton Tower, so it's not like I haven't seen it before. Since I was already there, I was fine with paying the extra, but their rigid response left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't experience any of the concierge service that others mentioned in reviews; I guess they were just too busy due to the National Day holiday.
What was even more unbelievable was the F&B department. We had two breakfasts included. My husband went down alone to eat and tried to pack some for me. A server from the F&B department not only lectured him but also stared intently, which was a first for me. I mean, we had two breakfasts included! This kind of service is just *fantastic*... The two stars I gave for service are solely for the housekeeping department.

AarnuTaking advantage of the National Day holiday, when room rates weren't too expensive, I decided to try this 'luxury selection' hotel. I arrived at 11:30 AM and had to wait two hours, finally getting my room at 1:30 PM.
The lobby restroom was dirty and smelled, piled high with used toilet paper. This was a major letdown for a supposedly 'luxury' hotel.
I was given a corner room, which was very spacious with a beautiful balcony view. The room's cleanliness was excellent. The floor-to-ceiling glass in the bathroom offered a fantastic view, but I had to close the blinds every time I used the toilet. It's a shame there wasn't a sheer curtain in the bathroom.
Although there aren't many dining options on Biological Island, food delivery was surprisingly fast. Renting a shared bike and cycling around the island takes about 40 minutes, and the scenery is lovely.
Overall, I was quite satisfied, apart from the long wait for the room.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the whimsical, child-themed decor. The hotel features a dedicated kids' play area, complete with soft play equipment and slides; our child didn't want to leave once they got in. Moreover, the hotel regularly organizes parent-child activities such as DIY crafts and parent-child dance classes, allowing children to learn new skills and make new friends even while traveling.
The room design was also very thoughtful. Not only did it include special toiletries for children, but also facilities like a children's bed and a small tent, making kids feel like they were in their own little world. The hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were incredibly attentive to the children's needs, always warmly interacting with them whenever they met, which made the kids feel right at home.
The hotel's dining experience is also worth mentioning. The restaurant offered a wide variety of nutritious and child-friendly meals. The dining environment was also perfect for families, with specially designed seating and tableware for children, adding to their enjoyment during meals.
Overall, this family hotel excelled in every aspect—facilities, service, and dining—completely meeting our family's needs. We will definitely choose this place again if we have the chance, and we highly recommend it to other families with children!

It had a smart toilet, and the twin beds could be combined into one large bed. The à la carte breakfast options were excellent 👍, a definite plus. The afternoon tea had a huge selection of pastries for just over 400 RMB, directly facing the Canton Tower. We also experienced the Yueyi Children's Fun - Lingnan themed cultural handicraft experience. After we finished our crafts, they even gave us a gift for the child, which was a nice touch 👍. It was very quiet at night. Highly recommended. The service follow-up was even more satisfying, especially Lily, who took meticulous care of us – she deserves extra praise! 🍗 Plus, the swimming pool was fantastic with an unbeatable view.
