5-Star Hotels in Guangzhou

This weekend, I visited Guangzhou with friends and stayed at the Element Guangzhou International Convention Center. I'm giving it a five-star review based on five aspects. First, the location is incredibly convenient for guests. It's closest to Guangzhou Metro Line 2; just walk through the International Convention Center, and you're at Baiyun Culture Square Metro Station – travel couldn't be easier. Second, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was very fast, and after we were settled, they patiently answered our travel inquiries with great enthusiasm, proactively thinking about our needs. Third, the room layout is practical and spacious. I particularly liked that the room has two washbasins, a microwave, and the shower water doesn't splash into the rest of the bathroom at all. The water pressure is strong, making for a very comfortable shower. Fourth, the hotel breakfast is excellent. The dining area is clean, and tables are spaced out, making for a comfortable meal. More importantly, the breakfast spread is extensive and delicious. Fifth, the hotel facilities are great. The air conditioning is also very powerful. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you feel cool and comfortable.

This hotel boasts a prime location, right next to a subway entrance, offering excellent connectivity to the entire city. The front desk service is remarkably attentive; check-in was handled with warmth and efficiency, and the invoice process was incredibly swift and accurate, perfectly suiting the fast pace of business travel. Both the facilities and the service provided a very comfortable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers.

The rooms were fine, but I have to give a negative review for the concierge service. I was with my child and in a hurry to register my car plate number before heading out. However, the concierge, a man with glasses, was engaging in a lengthy and polite conversation with a foreigner and completely ignored us. Even though I was standing there with my child for several minutes, no one bothered to approach us. I finally had to interrupt their enthusiastic chat to ask if someone else or the check-in desk could register my car plate. I received a cold and quick 'no' – a stark contrast to the warm interaction he had with the foreign guest. After waiting for a long time and seeing no end to their conversation, and with my one-year-old getting restless, I went to the check-in counter to ask if they could help with the car plate. It was then that a nearby check-in staff member took us back to the concierge desk, where someone there *did* register my car plate. I was utterly confused! Turns out, it *was* possible. So, is concierge service only reserved for foreign guests, and we don't even deserve a smile? He knew I had a baby and had been waiting for almost ten minutes, yet he was completely indifferent. This is hard to assess... The hotel facilities and cleanliness were fine. The doorman when we left was very enthusiastic. The breakfast, to be honest, was really just mediocre! The French toast was alright, but the rest was truly unremarkable... especially the waffles, which were hard and unappetizing, and the eggs were very average. Three days, two nights – next time I visit friends in Guangzhou, I definitely won't choose this place again! Though I was happy they upgraded my room type when they saw I had a small baby.

My stay at the Guangzhou Eastonton Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel boasts an elegant and grand ambiance, and the room was exceptionally clean with meticulous attention to hygiene details. They even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit upon check-in, which was a lovely and warm touch. I especially want to commend a young lady at the front desk with glasses; her demeanor was gentle and appropriate, and her service was professional and attentive. All the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and polite, responding promptly to all requests, making the entire experience comfortable and relaxed. The overall service level is top-notch, ensuring a peaceful and pleasant stay. I will definitely prioritize this hotel for my next visit to Guangzhou.

This hotel boasts excellent hardware and facilities, fully meeting five-star standards, and the overall environment has a great feel. However, there are quite a few service details that need improvement during the stay. Here's an objective sharing of my experience: 1. Food deliveries and packages are uniformly placed at the entrance on the first floor, requiring guests to go downstairs to pick them up. There's no robot delivery service, making everyday retrieval a bit inconvenient. 2. The hotel has many floors, and staff share guest elevators. During peak hours, elevator wait times are long, which affects travel efficiency. 3. Room cleaning details were not meticulous enough. There were residual oil stains on the dining table and counter from before, which were not wiped clean, and a small amount of hair and debris on the bed. Later, the room manager sincerely apologized in person and offered fruits and small gifts, showing a very genuine attitude. However, even after the rectification, there were still oversights: the bathrobe and large bath towels were taken by the cleaning staff but not promptly replaced with new ones, indicating untimely replenishment of amenities. 4. There was a minor error in the gender notation on the check-in information displayed on the in-room TV system. Such a small oversight inevitably makes one feel that attention to detail is lacking. 5. The Bluetooth speaker rented via the mini-program had glue marks on its body, low battery, and no accompanying instructions. The daily inspection and maintenance of amenities need to be strengthened. Overall, the hotel has a great foundation in terms of hardware, and the manager's apology and corrective attitude were very sincere. However, there is still significant room for improvement in the service standards and attention to detail of the frontline cleaning staff. I hope that employee training will be enhanced in the future to ensure service details are properly implemented, which I believe will greatly improve the experience.

This hotel, shaped like a cruise ship 🚢, is nestled on Bio-Island, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, clean, and bright. The bedding, pillows, and covers were incredibly comfortable. The long, curved balcony is quite unique. The Western restaurant offers a rich breakfast spread, and the room service dishes are also good. The infinity pool on the 18th floor is lovely. The gym on the 17th floor is very spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view from the glass windows. It's a pet-friendly hotel, with a pet bed, pee pad, and bowls provided in the room. The large lawn on the fifth-floor platform is perfect for dogs 🐶 to run and play. There's also another large lawn behind the hotel on the basement level for dogs 🐶 to run and play. I'm so grateful that pet owners can bring their furry family members to stay here. It would be even better if the restaurant had designated pet-friendly areas for dining. After all, there are no other restaurants or hawker stalls around the hotel. If you don't want to go out, you're limited to the hotel restaurant, but pets aren't allowed inside... This makes dining inconvenient for pet-owning families. While delivery is an option, every place takes a very long time (an hour or more). I'll definitely support and patronize this hotel again given the chance 🌹

Hands down the best hotel I’ve booked on my entire business trip so far. If you’re travelling for work and flying in or out of Guangzhou Baiyun, this place is unbeatable — it’s minutes from the airport (near the T3 terminal) and just a short walk from Renhe Station on Metro Line 3 (Exit C1), so getting anywhere in the city is effortless. The location keeps getting better. It’s walking distance to Huatong Plaza and the Huatongli commercial street, with plenty of food options right there including KFC, McDonald’s and Starbucks — so you’re never stuck for a meal or a coffee after a long day. The room itself was beautifully decorated and genuinely comfortable. Best of all, it had English TV channels — this was the only hotel on my whole trip where I could actually sit down and watch something I understood, which meant a lot after busy days of meetings and sourcing. But what really sealed the deal was the service. They held my luggage, helped me manage my orders, and the airport pick-up and drop-off made the whole stay stress-free. On top of that you get a pool, sauna and breakfast included. Honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t book this hotel for the entire trip. I’ll be back next time I’m in Guangzhou — highly recommended for business travellers.

What truly surprised and touched me was the incredibly warm and meticulous service from our dedicated butler, Candy. Understanding that we were specifically there to relax, Candy proactively and kindly offered us a complimentary room upgrade. She patiently explained the advantages of the upgraded room type, meticulously detailing the room layout, facility usage, hotel amenities, and even pool opening hours and precautions. Her demeanor was gentle and professional. The upgraded room boasted expansive views and excellent natural light, feeling significantly more spacious than the standard room. The entire room was clean and tidy, with exquisite soft furnishings, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and high-quality toiletries. Every detail showed careful consideration, instantly melting away any travel fatigue. The hotel's swimming pool was the biggest highlight of our stay and a key contributor to the overall vacation vibe. The pool area was clean and elegant, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere. It felt spacious and grand, with a well-organized layout. The water was crystal clear, clean, and odorless, with excellent regular disinfection and maintenance evident. It was visibly clean and refreshing, making us feel safe and secure while swimming. The pool was divided into adult and children's areas, perfect for both immersive swimming workouts and leisurely relaxation or photo opportunities. The pool was never overly crowded or noisy. Whether swimming under the sun during the day or playing in the water with the evening breeze, the ambiance was perfect. The poolside facilities were comprehensive, with clean towels, drinking water, and lounge chairs readily available, showcasing exceptional attention to detail in service. Swimming in the clear water, feeling the gentle evening breeze, and being surrounded by the serene environment, we fully immersed ourselves in a relaxing and therapeutic vacation. Overall, the hotel not only boasts excellent hardware facilities, but its attentive service was the biggest bonus. Butler Candy was always responsive and accommodating, making us feel incredibly warm with her meticulous and thoughtful service. From the warm room upgrade to the perfect pool experience, every detail reflected the hotel's dedication and quality. It offered incredible value for money and a perfect experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Extremely satisfied with our stay at Chimelong Hotel! As soon as we entered, we were drawn in by the strong tropical resort vibe. The room was very clean, and the family-friendly amenities were excellent, making it very suitable for young children. The hotel's shuttle service made getting around convenient, saving us a lot of hassle. The staff were enthusiastic and the White Tiger Buffet dinner had an amazing ambiance. Our whole family had a fantastic time – it's definitely our top choice for family trips!
