5-Star Hotels in Haikou

The mattress has a soft and a firm side, which was perfect for my back problems! The water pressure in the bathroom shower was excellent – super good! The personalized service was exceptional; Sherry, the Assistant Manager in the lobby, deserves special praise. She noticed I hadn't come to the restaurant for breakfast one day and proactively messaged me to ask if I needed breakfast delivered to my room. It truly made me feel at home! The buffet restaurant's service was just okay, and the food quality could be improved.

We booked a family twin room. You can get an unobstructed view of the sea from the balcony, which was lovely, and the air quality was great too. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, everything works perfectly fine. The food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious, but breakfast was a bit disappointing. However, the Western pastries were quite good.

Both my room and public areas of the hotel were attractive and spacious.  It has a lovely location on the river with beautiful grounds lushly planted, a fantastic swimming pool that’s a bit separated from the young children’s pool and is quieter.  The hot spring spas were wonderful, especially the first one where hundreds of fish nibble away at the dead skin on your feet and extremities.  All of the staff were friendly and helpful.  One of the managers even noticed that I was a guest on my birthday and prepared a cake for me.  I hope that I can return one day.  Both restaurants offered good food and service.

Stuck in Haikou due to a typhoon, I unexpectedly extended my stay at Mission Hills for another night and blindly chose the Renaissance, which turned out to be a delightful surprise! The hotel's overall ambiance is superb. The entire room features bright, soft, warm-toned decor, and the bedding is incredibly soft and skin-friendly, making for a very comfortable sleep. The balcony offers an expansive view directly overlooking the golf course and outdoor pool – truly breathtaking. Amenities like the infinity pool and kids' club are shared with the neighboring Ritz-Carlton, yet the price is only half, offering incredible value for money. The service was an added bonus, especially Cherry at the front desk! Knowing we were feeling down due to a cancelled flight, she proactively helped us upgrade our room based on availability, instantly lifting our spirits about being stranded. Her service wasn't rigid or formulaic; it felt warm and personal, like chatting with a close friend. Upon learning we had an early morning flight the next day, she thoughtfully arranged for a packed breakfast. We rushed out at 5 AM when it was still dark, and my child accidentally left their pajamas behind. Cherry promptly contacted us and helped mail them back – such meticulous and thoughtful service. Overall, the stay was stable and incredibly comfortable. This is a hotel I'd definitely return to and one that brings exceptional peace of mind!

Let me just say upfront, I'm not a shill, but out of all the hotels I've stayed at, Mission Hills Haikou's service definitely ranks among the top. Every single staff member has an exceptionally great attitude; almost everyone proactively greets you. The lobby staff were particularly excellent – they arranged breakfast and kids' club access for my child and even upgraded our room. Both the hotel's soft and hard amenities are top-notch, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and definitely deserves praise. I'll definitely stay at Mission Hills Haikou again next time I'm in Haikou.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with brand-new, smart facilities. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept like a baby. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The pool was the cherry on top, and there's also a large dog-walking garden that's absolutely stunning at sunset.

Dining and shopping are just a stone's throw away. It's only 601 meters from Chengxi Station, 2 kilometers from Haikou East Station, and 14.5 kilometers from Meilan Airport. The location is absolutely perfect. 👔 **A Blessing for the Lazy: Butler Laundry Service** Worried about running out of clean clothes while traveling? No need to worry here! Just dial the front desk from your room or fill out the laundry slip, and a staff member will come to collect your clothes. You don't have to lift a finger, and they'll return them freshly washed and ironed to your room! This service truly feels five-star. 👌 🍹 **All-in-One Dining, Drinking & Entertainment** ▪️ **Complimentary Minibar:** The mini-fridge in the room is stocked with drinks you can enjoy freely (it's included in your benefits!). ▪️ **Recreational Facilities:** There's also an outdoor swimming pool and a gym on the top floor, perfect for snapping some great photos or getting a workout in. ▪️ **Breakfast & Coffee:** The breakfast spread is very diverse, with both Chinese and Western options. My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Haikou, truly met international 5-star standards in every aspect. The hotel boasts an excellent location and top-notch facilities. The room layout was well-designed, offering outstanding views, and the dining and recreational amenities were comprehensive. The hotel's family-friendly program is incredibly mature and well-developed. The dedicated kids' club is fully equipped, regularly hosting children's themed activities such as baking, outdoor sports, and engaging educational programs. The rooms even come with a full set of exclusive children's amenities, perfectly catering to families. The service team was professional and meticulous. This stay exceeded my expectations; Marriott's quality control truly lives up to its reputation. The front desk service was warm and efficient, handling check-in quickly. They also thoughtfully informed me about the hotel facilities and local routes. The room was spacious and spotless throughout. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were well-designed, the mattress was just right (not too soft, not too firm), and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, and the taste was spot-on. The gym and pool facilities were complete and well-maintained. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, making it perfect for both business trips and short getaways. Highly recommended! Among the many hotels in Haikou, I chose the Greenland Hilton, and it offered great value for money. Although it's not in the city center, getting around by taxi is very convenient. The pool is excellent, and swimming there is very enjoyable. You can walk directly from the hotel to the beach. My sea-view room had a dehumidifier, so I personally didn't find it humid at all. The view from the balcony was beautiful, whether it was raining or sunny. Breakfast hours were very long, which was a thoughtful touch. Rebecca provided all sorts of help before and after check-in, making this trip even more comfortable.
