GGuest UserThis was my second stay at Z愹 in Haikou, and the hotel staff were as welcoming as ever. From helping with table reservations, luggage assistance, arranging for forgotten items to be sent back, to complimentary souvenirs, and the children's center's attention to kids â you can really feel the vacation and family-friendly hotel atmosphere. Oh, and the roujiamo at breakfast was delicious! A big thank you to Lina, Wang Nan, and Hailey for their excellent care.

GGuest UserI originally chose this hotel because it was 'about to become a Fairmont,' and even though the sign outside no longer says that, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The hardware was particularly surprising: the hotel extensively uses carpeting, both in the rooms and public areas. Knowing that maintaining carpets in a high-humidity, high-salinity coastal area is extremely difficult (most seaside hotels opt for wood or tile floors â I still remember the indescribable smell at The Royal Begonia, a Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya), the carpet condition in my room this stay was excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into maintenance, especially for a hotel that's already nearly 20 years old (or even older?). Check-in was seamless (I didn't catch the name of the kind lady who helped me). There was also a follow-up call to the room after I settled in, which very few hotels do. While the hotel's pool isn't huge, it's very well-designed, encircling the garden with both deep and shallow areas. Seating is well-spaced out (unlike the packed rows at Sheraton, for instance), offering a genuine resort feel where guests can relax without disturbing each other. Swimming and sunbathing there were very pleasant. From the pool, you can walk out to the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way down to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. It's perfect for an evening stroll or a morning workout. Coming back from a run along the beach in the morning and then soaking in the hot spring really brings on that holiday vibe. Even though it hasn't become a Fairmont yet, the hospitality lives up to the 'Royal Service' mentioned on the phone. Thank you for the hospitality, and special thanks to Megan for her thoughtful touch. For someone who loves carpets and a resort atmosphere, this is a place in Haikou worth relaxing at, and I'd definitely want to come back again.

GGuest UserStepping into the room, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the 'private beach' perfectly, like a painting! In the evening, sitting by the window watching the sea, enjoying a cozy moment by the bathtub, with coconut trees, white tents, and beach umbrellas outside. The sound of waves mixed with the evening breeze felt like stepping into a holiday scene from a movie.
The old pottery jar was brimming with pink flowers, and tall palm trees provided ample shade. Posing for photos with the sea as a backdrop, my straw hat and green backpack instantly created that 'island vibe' in every shot.
The beach was equally stunning: crystal-clear water, soft golden sand, and small fishing boats gently beached. In the distance, a few fishing figures dotted the horizon. Walking barefoot on the sand, watching the clouds drift by, all my worries were swept away by the sea breeze.
From the meticulous landscape design and the romantic sea views from the room, to the relaxed beach terrace, this guesthouse truly embodied the 'island dream' in every single detail. Staying here, I finally understood what it means to 'live life poetically and give your holiday back to the sea.' Coming here during my pregnancy, with convenient pick-up and drop-off, was incredibly helpful!

QQizhuozhuxiangkuailechufaPros: Service: I have to give a special shout-out to Bella Yu at the front desk â her service was truly impeccable! She proactively greeted me upon arrival, was incredibly gentle and kind, and checked me in very quickly. She also took the initiative to provide details about the elevators, breakfast, and parking. When I had questions later, she was patient and thorough, always thinking ahead and being thoughtful throughout my stay. Her professionalism and warmth really added a lot to the hotel experience. Location: It's close to Century Park and the Cloud Cave Library. Many restaurants and bars downstairs are open at night, perfect for a casual drink. Breakfast restaurant: It wasn't crowded, so no waiting in line. The food was decent, and the service was prompt and friendly. Cons: Guest room: The room had a musty smell and felt old.

GGuest UserLet's start with the positives: The Ritz-Carlton's service is consistently excellent, and the hotel rooms are fully equipped with all amenities. The mattress was also quite comfortable. While breakfast wasn't extensive, the food was delicious, and the hotel offers a great view.
Now for the drawbacks: The hotel lacks sufficient children's facilities, the pool is small, and the surrounding area offers limited amenities.
In summary: Strictly speaking, it's not really a family-friendly resort. Next time I visit Haikou, I'll definitely choose a hotel in the city center.

GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent! The hotel is clean and comfortable, with spacious and bright rooms. The housekeeping was incredibly thorough, every corner was spotless. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Qin, were gentle and polite, always responding promptly to requests. The hotel's location is superb, with its own parking lot, and plenty of dining and transportation options nearby. For the price, it's truly great value for money. Highly recommended!

MMadeliliweiThe service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly.
First, they upgraded our room upon check-in. When we noticed a strange noise from the air conditioning, they immediately sent a technician to fix it. They even offered to change our room if we weren't satisfied, which was very prompt.
Second, a package arrived at the smart locker before we checked in. The staff, upon learning this, informed us that the locker was quite far away and proactively went to retrieve it and deliver it to our room. That was incredibly thoughtful!
Third, even the cleaning staff were wonderful. They'd ask what you needed and were happy to help with any requests.
However, there are a few drawbacks:
First, there's no direct beach access from the hotel, nor is there a beach right across. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to it, with one side being rocky and the other being the sandy beach. I'd recommend taking a Didi (ride-sharing service) because it's too hot and tiring to walk.
Second, the hotel's recreational area isn't very large. While it's enough for younger kids, older children might find the facilities a bit limited.
Third, despite the cleaning lady's friendly attitude, the room wasn't as clean as it could be. I mentioned to her that there were ants on the floor, especially in areas that weren't mopped due to the humidity, which was quite noticeable.

AAnonymous UserThe B&B is at the very edge of the village. Because it is newly built and not yet complete, there are no food or supermarkets around. We booked this hotel for a sea view room. It cost over 400 in the off-season, which was not cost-effective. The room had a nice sea view. We lived on the fourth floor. The elevator broke down on the night of check-in, so we had to take the stairs every time. The elevator was still not repaired when we left the hotel the next morning. When we went downstairs at 7 a.m., there was no one at the lobby counter. I called the boss, and someone came after 8 a.m. to deliver soup noodles for breakfast, saying it was a local specialty. The room only included breakfast for two people, and if there were more people, they had to pay an extra 20 yuan per person. It is particularly worth mentioning that there were no stools in the room, so we had to stand to eat. Later, I asked the boss to bring stools into the room. In order to save space, the hotel placed the washbasin next to the bed, which looked okay, but every time I washed my hands, the water made a loud noise, and it was right next to the bed, disturbing the rest of the person sleeping. If you just want to see the sea and don't care about other things, you can stay here. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still hope that the hotel will become more and more perfect.
