Guest UserThe mattress has a soft and a firm side, which was perfect for my back problems! The water pressure in the bathroom shower was excellent – super good! The personalized service was exceptional; Sherry, the Assistant Manager in the lobby, deserves special praise. She noticed I hadn't come to the restaurant for breakfast one day and proactively messaged me to ask if I needed breakfast delivered to my room. It truly made me feel at home! The buffet restaurant's service was just okay, and the food quality could be improved.

Guest UserThe hotel itself is pretty good and quiet, but the humidity was so high that after sleeping for one night, I woke up with a backache. In the morning, I opened the window a tiny crack, thinking it would air out the room. To my surprise, when I came back, the entire room was covered in water droplets. I was stunned for a long time, not knowing what had happened. I spoke to the front desk, and they moved us to another room, explaining that we couldn't open the windows because we were so close to the sea – not even a tiny crack. They really should have communicated this during check-in, instead of waiting until there was a problem to tell me. Many people aren't aware of the weather conditions in Haikou. And what's more, I was traveling with a child, and the front desk didn't offer a single apology for the incident. Only one young man consistently helped me move my luggage and change rooms; I want to thank him. The staff at the entrance were also excellent; they always helped open car doors and carry luggage!

Guest UserOverall, my stay at The Langham Haikou was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in quick and efficient. They proactively recommended local Haikou cuisine and tourist routes, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, although the air conditioning wasn't as effective as it could have been. The staff were responsive, and Julie provided attentive and warm service; her hospitality and the overall service deserve high praise. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. It's also within walking distance to MixC World, and public transport nearby is very accessible. The front desk staff, Ms. Xiao Xin, was incredibly warm and professional. She even upgraded my room to a spacious and comfortable sea-view king room, where I could enjoy a side sea view. The self-service laundry on the 31st floor was very convenient, making it a top choice for business trips. She also helped me upgrade my room type. When checking out, I forgot my headphones, but I was already almost boarding my flight. They proactively helped me mail them back, which I really appreciate! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Guest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations; Marriott's quality control truly lives up to its reputation. The front desk service was warm and efficient, handling check-in quickly. They also thoughtfully informed me about the hotel facilities and local routes. The room was spacious and spotless throughout. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were well-designed, the mattress was just right (not too soft, not too firm), and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, and the taste was spot-on. The gym and pool facilities were complete and well-maintained. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, making it perfect for both business trips and short getaways. Highly recommended! A special shout-out to service manager Vivian for her top-notch service! 👍

The room facilities and housekeeping are top-notch. The cleaning is meticulous, and everything is tidied up neatly. The staff are very polite. The buffet breakfast on the 33rd floor is abundant, delicious, and offers a wide variety of choices.
The Guest Relations assistant even added me on WeChat during my stay, which was super convenient as they were always responsive to my requests.
Overall, the hotel environment is quiet and upscale. This is definitely my go-to hotel when traveling.

Posted on Apr 12, 2025|2-bed Room With Sea View
Anonymous UserThe B&B is at the very edge of the village. Because it is newly built and not yet complete, there are no food or supermarkets around. We booked this hotel for a sea view room. It cost over 400 in the off-season, which was not cost-effective. The room had a nice sea view. We lived on the fourth floor. The elevator broke down on the night of check-in, so we had to take the stairs every time. The elevator was still not repaired when we left the hotel the next morning. When we went downstairs at 7 a.m., there was no one at the lobby counter. I called the boss, and someone came after 8 a.m. to deliver soup noodles for breakfast, saying it was a local specialty. The room only included breakfast for two people, and if there were more people, they had to pay an extra 20 yuan per person. It is particularly worth mentioning that there were no stools in the room, so we had to stand to eat. Later, I asked the boss to bring stools into the room. In order to save space, the hotel placed the washbasin next to the bed, which looked okay, but every time I washed my hands, the water made a loud noise, and it was right next to the bed, disturbing the rest of the person sleeping. If you just want to see the sea and don't care about other things, you can stay here. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still hope that the hotel will become more and more perfect.
