KKangkangdarenTo be honest, it wasn't perfect, but the several positive experiences I had with the front desk and concierge service left a great impression, so I'm giving it a high rating. **Pros:** Clearly, the hotel's environment and dining are good. During the off-season, the value for money is excellent. The concierges were always very proactive and friendly (every single one of them), even helping with luggage and escorting guests to their rooms. The front desk was also great; they helped mail a lost item back to Shenzhen for me. Being close to the sea was convenient, although the view was just average. The lobby is very clean and beautiful, and it's clear they've put effort into maintaining it. **Cons:** Although my room was upgraded to the best floor, there was a decades-old musty smell coming from the carpet. Closing the balcony door would immediately make me dizzy. The outdoor pool was very dirty, filled with trash and various dead things. It's the dirtiest outdoor pool I've ever seen at a hotel, at least visibly so. The breakfast chefs and the pool lifeguards largely lacked service awareness. Especially the lifeguard: he didn't say anything when two adults repeatedly washed their slippers in the children's pool, but as soon as a child accidentally stepped into the pool, he immediately jumped out and yelled. Foreigners always had towels delivered to them by the pool, but Chinese guests had to walk a long way to the front desk to get one. If you don't speak a foreign language to explain yourself, then learn it. Otherwise, I think you've been kneeling for so long you can't stand up. And the children's play area – I've never seen one so dirty and messy. I wouldn't have known it was a hotel; I would have thought it was a defunct institution that hadn't had time to move out.

GGuest UserStepping into the room, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the 'private beach' perfectly, like a painting! In the evening, sitting by the window watching the sea, enjoying a cozy moment by the bathtub, with coconut trees, white tents, and beach umbrellas outside. The sound of waves mixed with the evening breeze felt like stepping into a holiday scene from a movie. The old pottery jar was brimming with pink flowers, and tall palm trees provided ample shade. Posing for photos with the sea as a backdrop, my straw hat and green backpack instantly created that 'island vibe' in every shot. The beach was equally stunning: crystal-clear water, soft golden sand, and small fishing boats gently beached. In the distance, a few fishing figures dotted the horizon. Walking barefoot on the sand, watching the clouds drift by, all my worries were swept away by the sea breeze. From the meticulous landscape design and the romantic sea views from the room, to the relaxed beach terrace, this guesthouse truly embodied the 'island dream' in every single detail. Staying here, I finally understood what it means to 'live life poetically and give your holiday back to the sea.' Coming here during my pregnancy, with convenient pick-up and drop-off, was incredibly helpful!

JJK Muller**Raving Review of MOS Hotel Haikou** From the moment I set foot in MOS Hotel Haikou, I knew I was in for a unique experience. The atmosphere is simply enchanting, with a sense of tranquility that envelops you right from the lobby. The clever architectural design showcases bespoke touches that only a true connoisseur of hospitality would appreciate. I found myself drawn to the Garden Restaurant, where I could unwind with a cup of coffee amidst lush greenery, soaking in the inspiration of my surroundings. The hotel is situated on Hainan, the southernmost tropical island in China, offering a delightful fusion of nature and culture. The fragrant air carries hints of the island’s unique aroma, creating a refreshing ambiance that enhances your stay. The Garden Restaurant is a culinary highlight, serving exquisite Chinese dishes that tantalize the taste buds, complemented by a delightful morning breakfast that fuels your adventures. What truly sets MOS Hotel Haikou apart is its film-friendly location, making it a perfect place for film and creatives to stay! It’s great for my film crew and talent to experience everything that a boutique hotel can offer. The picturesque settings are ideal for Insta-worthy photos, allowing you to capture the essence of your stay in stunning visuals. I was particularly impressed by the bespoke details throughout the hotel, which add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall experience. The exceptional service provided by the hotel manager and staff made all the difference. They attended to my VIP requests with remarkable care and attention to detail, ensuring that my needs were met with utmost precision. The hotel manager went above and beyond with personalized off-property recommendations, guiding me to the best local gems—from a vibrant jazz bar to a charming walking street and an exquisite French restaurant. Every recommendation was a real treat, showcasing true VVIP bespoke butler-style service that made my trip even more special. I have traveled extensively across Asia, and I can confidently say that MOS Hotel Haikou holds a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Moreover, during my stay, I was fortunate enough to participate in special edition events that showcased the island's vibrant culture and creativity. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and inspiration, making my visit even more memorable. As a film studio executive, I can say with certainty that MOS Hotel Haikou exceeded all my expectations and more. I left with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration, and I cannot wait to return to this extraordinary haven. GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent! The hotel is clean and comfortable, with spacious and bright rooms. The housekeeping was incredibly thorough, every corner was spotless. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Qin, were gentle and polite, always responding promptly to requests. The hotel's location is superb, with its own parking lot, and plenty of dining and transportation options nearby. For the price, it's truly great value for money. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserFirstly, the location is incredibly convenient, surrounded by residential buildings, making it easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's not noisy. As expected from a Langham Group hotel, it boasts a luxurious style, with eye-catching marble decor throughout. Haha! The hotel also features a gym and a swimming pool, and the breakfast offers a great variety too.

GGuest UserI spontaneously decided to come to Hainan for a relaxing Qingming holiday, soaking up the sun. The sun was really intense, with daily temperatures consistently above 37 degrees Celsius, and occasionally even hitting 40 degrees. However, coming from a famously hot region, I'm used to high temperatures and found it quite bearable. Plus, with the sea breeze, it was actually quite comfortable! This was my second visit to Haikou. After checking out many hotels online, I finally settled on The Westin. I'd read some reviews saying the hotel's location wasn't great, with limited dining and shopping nearby. Personally, I think the location is actually quite good. It's right by the coast, offering beautiful views of both the river and the sea, as well as the bridge. There are a few decent restaurants near the hotel by Century Bridge, and it's also very close to the Cloudscape Library, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The best part is the scenic walk along the coast, especially beautiful at sunset! One of the hotel's highlights is the executive lounge on the 20th floor, which offers truly stunning views. There's also an outdoor terrace just outside the lounge. Sitting out there with a few drinks and snacks, enjoying the view at sunset, is incredibly relaxing and atmospheric! The executive lounge is generally very good, open from 11 AM to 11 PM. During the day, there are usually soft drinks and a small selection of fruits and biscuits, but from 5 PM to 8 PM during happy hour, they serve light meals. I found The Westin's happy hour to be excellent, with a wide variety of hot dishes, including both Chinese and Western options. The selection of drinks was also extensive, and the food was exquisite, with different offerings each night. This was much better than what I've experienced at other five-star hotels – dinner here was more than sufficient! The hotel's breakfast buffet also deserves high praise. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 11 AM, which is perfect for late sleepers, giving them plenty of time to eat! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, with all types of dishes, both Chinese and Western, each with its own character. I highly recommend the rice noodles and wontons – they were outstanding! There was definitely an abundance of fruit and drinks. As it was a holiday, there were many diners during breakfast, but the restaurant never felt chaotic. Tables and cutlery were promptly cleared, and food was refilled quickly – absolutely commendable! This time, I chose the Executive Suite. Unfortunately, I didn't get an upgrade this time. The room itself was great. Although it was a corner unit, the designer made excellent use of the space, creating a very sensible layout. Most importantly, as someone from the south, I appreciate being able to open windows for ventilation, which is much better than staying in high-floor rooms that can't be opened. I heard the best room type is the River and Ocean Suite, with even better views, and I hope to experience it next time! The hotel's bedding was good, toiletries were average, and the customer service was excellent – all my requests were met quickly. The towels were also great, new and soft! A major perk of the executive room is the late check-out until around 4 PM, plus complimentary ironing of two garments daily. I think these benefits are incredibly guest-friendly! The hotel's concierge service was outstanding. Every time we returned to the hotel by car, they would proactively open the door and greet us. A special thanks to Mr. Justin Bao, who provided us with excellent, efficient, and professional service. He not only gave us an overview of the hotel but also advised us on how to get better deals for future bookings – truly grateful to him! I hope to see him again on my next trip to Hainan! I was also delighted that the hotel gifted us a souvenir when we checked out – I absolutely loved it! I will definitely choose to stay at The Westin again on my next visit to Haikou. It's a shame this trip was so short; I look forward to spending a longer holiday here next time, just enjoying the hotel! I hope the hotel continues to improve! Oh, and the hotel is also very close to Qilou Old Street, just about a 10 yuan taxi ride, which is super convenient!

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is really nice. From the room, you can see a green golf course, which is very pleasing to the eye. After seeing so much of the sea, green is also a kind of enjoyment. Arthur at the front desk was particularly enthusiastic, and the hotel's service was incredibly warm. I'll definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserMy overall stay exceeded expectations. The location is truly exceptional, right by the sea with stunning views. It's also conveniently close to the duty-free mall and surrounded by excellent amenities, making shopping and exploring incredibly easy. The hotel itself has a high-end, sophisticated ambiance with Chinese-style decor and beautifully landscaped gardens. Walking through them was a real pleasure. Serena, a staff member, was professional, warm, and highly responsive, providing meticulous service. Last night, I accidentally twisted my ankle, and the lobby staff immediately noticed me limping and brought me Yunnan Baiyao spray. They even asked about my ankle when I checked out the next day (so touching!). The room layout was well-designed, cozy, and spacious, with comfortable bedding that helped me relax and unwind. What really stood out was the dehumidifier in the room – it's the first time I've seen one, and there wasn't a hint of dampness. I immediately ordered the same model for my home! The environment, service, and location are all outstanding. It's a top-notch choice for accommodation and highly recommended. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Haikou!

MMellingThe room was very spacious, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was great. The floor-to-ceiling windows were a nice touch, even if the view wasn't anything special. The hotel seems to be an older building that's been converted, so some of the facilities are a bit dated, but the hygiene was good. The breakfast spread was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Transportation was convenient; there's a bus stop right downstairs. However, the bus frequency wasn't great, so for business trips, taking a taxi was a better option.

AAnonymous UserThe B&B is at the very edge of the village. Because it is newly built and not yet complete, there are no food or supermarkets around. We booked this hotel for a sea view room. It cost over 400 in the off-season, which was not cost-effective. The room had a nice sea view. We lived on the fourth floor. The elevator broke down on the night of check-in, so we had to take the stairs every time. The elevator was still not repaired when we left the hotel the next morning. When we went downstairs at 7 a.m., there was no one at the lobby counter. I called the boss, and someone came after 8 a.m. to deliver soup noodles for breakfast, saying it was a local specialty. The room only included breakfast for two people, and if there were more people, they had to pay an extra 20 yuan per person. It is particularly worth mentioning that there were no stools in the room, so we had to stand to eat. Later, I asked the boss to bring stools into the room. In order to save space, the hotel placed the washbasin next to the bed, which looked okay, but every time I washed my hands, the water made a loud noise, and it was right next to the bed, disturbing the rest of the person sleeping. If you just want to see the sea and don't care about other things, you can stay here. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still hope that the hotel will become more and more perfect.
