GGuest UserI originally chose this hotel because it was 'about to become a Fairmont,' and even though the sign outside no longer says that, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The hardware was particularly surprising: the hotel extensively uses carpeting, both in the rooms and public areas. Knowing that maintaining carpets in a high-humidity, high-salinity coastal area is extremely difficult (most seaside hotels opt for wood or tile floors – I still remember the indescribable smell at The Royal Begonia, a Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya), the carpet condition in my room this stay was excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into maintenance, especially for a hotel that's already nearly 20 years old (or even older?). Check-in was seamless (I didn't catch the name of the kind lady who helped me). There was also a follow-up call to the room after I settled in, which very few hotels do. While the hotel's pool isn't huge, it's very well-designed, encircling the garden with both deep and shallow areas. Seating is well-spaced out (unlike the packed rows at Sheraton, for instance), offering a genuine resort feel where guests can relax without disturbing each other. Swimming and sunbathing there were very pleasant. From the pool, you can walk out to the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way down to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. It's perfect for an evening stroll or a morning workout. Coming back from a run along the beach in the morning and then soaking in the hot spring really brings on that holiday vibe. Even though it hasn't become a Fairmont yet, the hospitality lives up to the 'Royal Service' mentioned on the phone. Thank you for the hospitality, and special thanks to Megan for her thoughtful touch. For someone who loves carpets and a resort atmosphere, this is a place in Haikou worth relaxing at, and I'd definitely want to come back again.

GGuest UserCame here for Hua Chenyu's Mars Concert and booked the best hotel near Changying. It's close to Xin'gang Port, the breakfast was great and plentiful, and the environment was beautiful. I'll definitely stay here again next time Hua Chenyu has a concert at Haikou Changying!

MMeihouwang007I arrived at this hotel directly from the ferry terminal at Xinhai Port. Although it opened in 2010, all the facilities and equipment are practical and convenient. It's clear the owner has put a lot of thought into it. First, the hotel has a large parking lot with fast-charging stations. Second, the breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the milk is delicious. Third, the bedding and toiletries are of high quality. Fourth, the terrace is large and beautiful. Most importantly, the price is economical and affordable, suitable for the average consumer. In short, this hotel is a great choice for those driving to Haikou.

MM16328****A perfect 'haven' during our trip! The hotel is conveniently located near the main commercial street, within walking distance, and surrounded by many unique snack shops, making it super easy to find delicious food. The room offered expansive window views of the beautiful street, and the decor was warm and elegant. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful local snacks provided. Breakfast was not only delicious but also featured local specialties, offering a direct taste of the local culture. The staff were always smiling and proactively offered travel advice, saving us a lot of time on planning. This stay truly doubled the happiness of our journey!
