Guest UserI brought my child to Haikou for a vacation this time and stumbled upon this hotel. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, truly great value for money.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Haikou's West Coast, just a short drive from Leiqiong Global Geopark, Tropical Wildlife Park, Holiday Beach, and CDF Haikou International Duty-Free City. It's incredibly convenient whether you're exploring nature, taking kids to see animals, or shopping for duty-free goodies.
The hotel's facilities are exceptionally well-equipped. The outdoor pool, with its dedicated children's play area and fun water slides, keeps kids entertained. There's also an indoor heated pool, a professional gym, and a ping-pong room, catering to both adult relaxation and kids' fun. You can easily fill your leisure time without even leaving the hotel.
The breakfast quality was a pleasant surprise. The dishes were abundant and varied, with no repetition, and the taste was on point. It offered a good mix of Chinese, Western, and local specialties, so you wouldn't get tired of it even with daily meals.
The room details were meticulously thought out, perfectly suited for Hainan's humid climate. Since the hotel is a bit away from the sea, it's not too damp. The bathroom is equipped with a full set of Bvlgari toiletries. The room's air conditioning has powerful dehumidifying capabilities, and there's an additional independent dehumidifier. The room stayed dry and fresh throughout our stay, completely free from any sticky or uncomfortable feeling.
The service was thoughtful and attentive, with staff members being gentle and polite.
From the front desk to the restaurant and public area staff, everyone was warm and courteous. Requests were promptly attended to, and they were patient and meticulous in their interactions, making our entire stay very comfortable.
This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's a fantastic choice for family vacations or leisure stays in Haikou; you absolutely can't go wrong. I'll definitely be returning!

Guest UserMy family and I had a great stay at the Sofitel Haikou this time. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We contacted the front desk in advance, and the lady there made sure all the extra items we requested were ready. The high-altitude infinity pool offers a stunning view of Haikou Bay in the evening. It's also very close to Wanlu Garden and The MixC. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back again.

I brought my child along for a short trip, and the experience was fantastic value for money. Ctrip offered a great price during this period. The breakfast and regular buffet had a wide variety of authentic dishes, which I really enjoyed. The hotel's location is excellent; opening the window reveals a sea view where you can see across the strait.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with multiple indoor and outdoor swimming areas, which my child absolutely loved. They mostly wanted to play within the hotel grounds and didn't want to go out. The beach is just across the road, which is super convenient.
Hygiene: The room was clean, and housekeeping was prompt. As an environmentalist, I don't advocate for waste.
Service: The service was attentive, and the front desk staff were warm and thorough. Seeing that I had a child, they proactively upgraded our room. A big shout-out to Xiaomeng! This level of service is often something state guesthouse-type hotels do better than international chains – they proactively helped with luggage, taxis, and hotel activities, which was great for a family with a child.
The experience was truly excellent, and I'll definitely bring my wife here next time.

An established Pullman 5-star hotel.
The public areas of this Nanyang-style resort are beautifully designed. The in-room amenities and decor also exude a strong Nanyang vibe. This Pullman has been around for a while, so the elevators and in-room facilities have a vintage feel. However, the overall maintenance is quite good, and they still function well enough.
The room isn't huge, but the layout is nice. The large mirror and hardware in the bathroom are very high-quality, showing that the hotel put thought into its selections. The mattress was too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
Room cleanliness was very good. The toothbrush is made of bamboo, and the toothpaste comes in paper packaging, which I haven't encountered in other 5-star hotels. It would be even better if the bristles were softer.
Overall, the cleanliness and service were good. At breakfast, dishes weren't refilled quickly enough after running out, but the view outside the restaurant is fantastic. The pool and hot spring areas are also very beautiful.

This was a great place to stay especially if you like to cook your own food. The facility was clean. The staff were kind and attentive to our needs. The kitchen was great. Main negative point was they had no supplies. There was a stove but no pots or pans or utensils.. There were tea cups. It was pretty bare. We had friends who lent us some items so we could prepare our own food. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The air conditioning units worked well. There was a washing machine to do laundry and hangers to hang your clothes to dry if needed. We had a new set of towels every day. If you are planning on cooking, the trash can was too small for my daughter and I. The internet worked great. We were there during two typhoons. We lost electricity twice but it was restored pretty quickly. Although shallow, there was a small pool that was deep enough to swim laps. It was on the shallow end. However, it was only open from 4pm-8pm. We would have liked to swim after lunch in the afternoon. There is an amazing Coffee Shop called Sweet Aroma just in front of the hotel/apt with great food and coffee. It is located within walking distance of the main road - easy to catch a taxi. There was a great walkway near the ocean or water outlet. We enjoyed going for walks by the water. There was an open market not too far from the hotel/apt. We rented an e-bike and the hotel/apt did have a locked area to park our bike. We would definitely go there again!

Guest UserThis was my first time staying at this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The pictures of the rooms on trip.com did not look that great but once I opened the door to my room I realised the rooms were very nice, spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We received great service from Beth in reception ( checked us in very quickly, her English was great) and Eric in the dining area who made our stay delightful.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with brand-new, smart facilities. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept like a baby. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The pool was the cherry on top, and there's also a large dog-walking garden that's absolutely stunning at sunset.

Guest UserMy one-night stay at the Westin Haikou was fantastic. The room was meticulously clean, fresh, and odor-free. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a spacious view, and the river and bridge scenery was delightful. All the staff were very gentle, especially Jenny, who proactively communicated our needs even before check-in – she was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The location is also convenient for getting around. If you're traveling to Haikou, this hotel is definitely worth recommending.

45guoxiaoyeThe environment is beautiful and comfortable, with great views. The front desk staff, Xiao Gui, even helped us upgrade our room, which we really appreciate. The facilities here are comprehensive, including hot springs and a swimming pool. The pool is divided into adult and children's sections, which is a big plus. Kids can really spend a whole day playing in the pool, and the children's center even offers free sand toys for borrowing, which is quite thoughtful.

Guest UserThe hotel service was excellent, haha! A special thanks to the front desk for their warm service. The room was on a very high floor with amazing views, hehe. They even helped arrange a room with a great view for my stay. The weather in Haikou has been quite gloomy recently, so remember to bring an umbrella when you go out. The ginger lily scent was delightful. I'd definitely come back with friends and family if I get the chance.
