Travelodge Stirling City Centre ★★★
"A shout out to Molly who when we had an evening meal did the job of three, reception, bar staff and dish collection from tables. Outstanding!"
Stirling Highland Hotel- Part of the Cairn Collection ★★★★
"Great hotel for visiting Stirling. The rooms are decent but old as expected. The pool , sauna and hot tub make up for it tho. Pool area wasn't too busy and great experience. Worth the money."
Travelodge Stirling M80 ★★★
"We chose Travelodge Stirling M80 because of its convenient location. We had excellent choices of food and anything else we might need. The facility was scrupulously clean and in good repair. Despite being in a car park with a lot of traffic, our room was always quiet. Staff were friendly and efficient."
Stirling Court Hotel ★★★
"good hotel not far from town centre also staff was very helpful"
Highland Gate, Stirling by Marston's Inns ★★★★
"There are supermarkets and gas stations nearby, free parking, plenty of parking spaces, very convenient. Stirling Castle is very close, 10 minutes' drive. We arrived at Glasgow Airport early and arrived at the hotel at 11 o'clock, but we were not allowed to check in early, so we had to leave our luggage at the front desk first. We had been on a flight for more than ten hours and wanted to go to the hotel to take a good shower and take a nap before going out to play, but this hotel was unwilling to let us check in early."
Hotel Colessio ★★★★
"There was no lager sat and Sunday, apart from that it was good."
Stirling Youth Hostel ★★
"Location, location and location. Really worth as it is just right next to the tourist spot."
Holiday Inn Express STIRLING by IHG ★★★
"Staff really helpful at check in. Room a little noisy as we could hear person on phone next door. Beds a little dated and breakfast was fine."
Friars Wynd Guest Rooms ★★★

The Allan Park
"I really loved my stay The Allan Park. Such a nice cozy homie place. Very spacious room that has everything you need, staff is really helpful and friendly, cozy lounge room with a fireplace. The only thing I would suggest adding is the hook on a bathroom door for a towel. Would love to stay here in future and highly recommend for anyone."
Golden Lion Hotel
"We booked a four night stay to visit Stirling and the surrounding countryside and local distilleries. The hotel is in a great location, only a three minute walk from the station and in the town centre. It is close to all the main tourist attractions -Stirling Castle, The Old Town Jail and the Stirling Distillery are all 10-15 minute walk, but it is uphill. The room was clean and pretty spacious, we had a king sized bed, double sofa and a desk. The bed linen was good quality and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bath towels were big and fluffy, and the room had the best selection of teas and coffees that I have seen in a hotel for a long time. The breakfast was good, with plenty of cooked choices, although the continental breakfast was not the most extensive. We ate in the restaurant on a couple of nights and enjoyed our meals. On Saturday there is live music in the restaurant in the form of a piano player and a music student singing standards from the musicals. It made for an enjoyable evening. The bare is comfortable with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits - especially whisky, although it can get a bit crowded at times. Gary and Ros, the owners, were very attentive; always checking that we were happy and everything was as expected. Ros is a whisky afficionado and happy to talk to you about the selection that they have behind the bar, and advise on which lical distilleries to visit. Based on our experience we would highly recommend."
Black Bull Gartmore
"Nice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included."
Springfield Lodge Bed and Breakfast
The Meadowpark Bar, Kitchen & Rooms
"This hotel gives serious "just got married" vibes. Stunning decor, luxury coated in pure style and the service and food in the restaurant is fantastic. Worth every penny"
Fletcher's Restaurant Bar & Rooms
"Had a great 2night stay at Fletchers the room was excellent very comfy bed and very clean. Ate in the restaurant and the food was good as was the breakfast would definitely recommend it we travelled by train so Fletchers is not far from the train station"
Altskeith Country House
"Perfect stay with perfect hosts Wow, just wow on all fronts. This pristine country house sits just steps away from Loch Ard and is something very special indeed. Sitting at the boathouse bird watching against the backdrop of the mirror like reflection of the loch was breathtaking. It’s obvious that hosts Alison and Yas’s priority is to deliver quality on another level. They have created a luxury home feel for all guests. For me, it was an improved home experience based on the quality of their service, food, beds, pillows and linen. My room was spotlessly clean and it was the best sleep I’ve had for a long, long time. I’m a bit of a bathroom snob and this bathroom did not disappoint. The well maintained grounds are simply stunning and the dining room has spectacular views across Loch Ard. The garden swing chairs are a must whilst watching the sunset. Thank you again for accommodating my earlier than expected check in. 5 stars for Alison, Yas and the team at Alskeith Country House."
Castle Walk B&B
"No staff , remote entry which worked ok. Met by a strong smell of damp and drains. We were in Room 3 at top of stairs. Room was dirty, rubbish in window cill, cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Bedding was in ironed and the “top sheet” was actually an empty duvet cover. There were stains on the bedding. Towels were damp . Paper was hanging off the wall, bathroom was very tired and needed a complete renovation. Grimy grout. No response to our email after we left as the room was unfit for use."
Carr's Hill Luxury Safari Tents
Aberfoyle Inn
"Terrible place. Smells of fried food and strong mildew. We saw dirty cups, a disgusting shower, tired furniture. “Breakfast” was delivered in a plastic grocery bag. We spent 5 minutes and left. I would choose to sleep in a tent over this place 100% of the time."
Rachel's Farm Luxury Escapes with Hot Tubs
"We recently stayed at Rachel’s Farm in Stirlingshire, and it was nothing short of amazing! The Farm House & Stables were beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our group. The traditional cedar wood hot tub was a highlight, perfect for relaxing evenings. We loved the thoughtful touches, like the guitar and extensive book selection. The WiFi was excellent, and the staff, especially Rachel and Andrew, were super friendly and helpful. Our group of 12 had an unforgettable weekend—thank you!"
