"Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we discovered the pipes were undergoing maintenance, and we hadn't been informed in advance. There were an excessive number of mosquitoes, something everyone should really watch out for. It felt like the room hadn't hosted guests in a while, as there was some dust. What was quite frustrating was the extremely weak water pressure; showering was practically impossible, so we just made do. The facilities seriously need an upgrade. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, and you can take the Wanfenglin sightseeing bus to various viewpoints. The hostess was very kind, and the breakfast was delicious, but the guesthouse's facilities really don't live up to the excellent service provided by the hostess."

"Our family of three spent six days and five nights in Xingyi. Since we hadn't booked in advance and it was peak season, we had to switch hotels every day. This was our last hotel for the trip, and it turned out to be the most satisfying and comfortable experience of our entire journey. The room was thoughtfully decorated and incredibly comfortable. Most importantly, it was spotlessly clean, with meticulous attention to detail, and even had a lovely scent. As a clean freak, I was absolutely delighted! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they even pre-booked tickets for the scenic area for us. They also took care of our luggage, safely storing it and then bringing it to our room after we checked in. After a day out exploring, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Our flight wasn't until the following evening, and at noon, no one pressured us to check out, assuring us there was no need to rush. We felt a little embarrassed checking out and going for lunch, only to return and continue enjoying their complimentary snacks, drinks, and air conditioning. To keep our child entertained, they provided drawing materials, and even prepared fresh fruit and beverages for us. The owner also warmly invited us to their tea room for a traditional tea ceremony! This place truly excels in every aspect, especially with its meticulous attention to detail. I sincerely hope more people discover this wonderful guesthouse."

GGuest UserThe boss is very nice. The hotel staff came to pick us up at the airport on the day we arrived. The boss personally cooked local specialties for us that night. The hotel also gives people a homely feeling. There is a small courtyard at the door, and the flowers and plants are also very tasteful. The view of Wanfenglin is also very beautiful! On the day we left, the hotel staff also drove us to the airport. I really appreciate this handsome guy! I will recommend this homestay to my friends in the future.

GGuest UserI felt compelled to write this review on my way back because I was so impressed by the thoughtful service at this hotel. Even before we arrived, they proactively reached out to ask about our trip and offered recommendations, which left a great first impression for us first-time visitors to Wanfenglin. They even upgraded our room type, saving us the hassle of switching rooms later.
During our stay, their responses were always quick. When we couldn't find a taxi, the front desk staff helped us arrange a driver, which was a huge help during peak hours. And their homemade pan-fried tofu? Absolutely delicious!
The location is fantastic, right in Zhongnahui, making it super convenient to get around. There's even a sightseeing bus stop right outside, making it incredibly easy to get back to the hotel after exploring Wanfenglin. As for the room itself, it was spotless with a lovely view – I'd definitely recommend this place to friends.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the owner was very kind. He pointed us to the location before we arrived, helped with our luggage, and showed us the parking lot.
The guesthouse is located in Xia Nahui, which is quieter and offers better views compared to Shang Nahui and Zhong Nahui. There are many restaurants within a five-minute walk, making it convenient to go to the market on Monday mornings.
There's a beautiful swimming pool, probably the largest for a guesthouse in Wanfenglin. The owner provided paddleboards, and the children never wanted to get out of the pool. In the adjacent small garden, there were three peacocks; we later discovered that the guesthouse's logo is a peacock spreading its tail feathers. The plants in the garden also showed that the owner had carefully selected, arranged, and maintained them.
The guesthouse's breakfast was excellent, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. My child could easily finish a whole bowl. Besides rice noodles, they also offered different small dishes each day, which was very satisfying.

GGuest UserCame to Wanfenglin with my family and chose this incredibly beautiful guesthouse. We picked a second-floor room with a balcony, and the views from the bed were stunning. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The warm lighting in the room was a thoughtful touch, not harsh on the eyes. The room was clean and odor-free, and outside the window, there were endless green mountains. Opening the window, I felt like I could breathe so much easier. In the afternoon, we went to their backyard area to enjoy the scenery and swim – every photo turned out amazing. During the day, we chatted in the room and admired the mountain views, and in the evening, we enjoyed the breeze on the balcony while talking with family. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helped us plan our travel routes perfectly. This will definitely be our first choice when we visit Wanfenglin again!

GGuest UserThe cave experience at Fengxi is palpable every moment of your stay. The customer service and every staff member go above and beyond. Here, you're greeted by mountains and Wanfeng Lake. You reside within a natural cave landscape, witnessing swallows returning to their nests, and enjoying the tranquility of the night. The comfortable bedding ensures a good night's sleep, and the meals are abundant and delicious (it must be challenging to transport ingredients up the mountain and cook such tasty dishes). Having also visited Fengxi Muyun (and stayed at Yuhuangding during Chinese New Year 2024), I can say that the cave offered a unique and peaceful experience, while Muyun was truly breathtaking, with better aesthetics and more attentive service. Xingyi is definitely worth a visit because of the wonderful experiences provided by the Fengxi series. A huge thank you to the cave for allowing us to witness the stunning views from Yuhuangding, and to Muyun for the excellent breakfast. Thank you so much; the hard work of the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable.

GGuest UserThe hygiene is excellent, and the decor and facilities are quite good. Even the toiletries provided are from decent brands. The hairdryer is a bit mediocre, but the breakfast rice noodles are delicious. The view from afar is nice, though there's a building under construction in front of the hotel that affects the overall aesthetic. My main complaint is the hotel's location; it's quite remote, up on a hill, and a bit of a drive from dining options. It's perfect if you plan to relax at the hotel or explore leisurely. However, if you want to quickly sightsee, transportation isn't very convenient, although renting a car makes it much easier. Otherwise, the service is excellent.

GGuest UserVery comfortable! The B&B is in the scenic area. There is a walking path at the foot of the mountain. There are rice fields on the roadside. It is very photogenic. We also went to the market. The local bananas are very delicious. We also bought a lot of local specialties. Although the weather was a bit bad, it didn't affect it at all. The scenery is also beautiful. We also went to another store of the boss lady. The clothes in it are basically designed by the boss lady herself. They are very beautiful. We also took a lot of photos. There is also an infinity pool. In short, this stay experience is very good. It is a very tasteful B&B. I am already looking forward to the next visit to Xingyi!

In a small village where you can find restaurants and shops, hire bikes/scooters, etc. Right in the middle of the scenic area. The owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly, going out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is delicious, although every day the same (we didn't have a buffet, because there were hardly any other guests. Breakfast was prepared for us in the moment). Great find and highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are okay, but I haven't seen high-floor windows without protective barriers in a long time. I was really disappointed with the hotel breakfast; the dining area is too narrow and cramped. With so many people eating, I kept bumping into chairs and worried about hitting others. Wontons were already gone just past 8 AM, and the food supply was insufficient. There aren't many parking spots above ground, but the underground parking is quite plentiful, and it's free if you provide your room number when leaving.
