Xingyi Hotels with Bars

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! 这是间很舒服时尚的民宿。房间窗外就看见那连绵起伏的山脉。前台的两位年轻小戴, 都很亲切友善,乐於幫我们解决一些问题及安排行程. 他们为我们安排租借电驴, 也親切的为我们介绍当地的景点和美食。还帮我们解决了去黄果树的问题。沒戴眼镜的小戴还教了我扎染。早餐也很丰盛好吃，每天早上，小吳厨师都会親切的问我要吃些什么。 房间很舒服，卫生做得很好，裝饰都很美丽，尤其是那些扎染的裝饰品窗帘等。每个人的服务态度都非常的好。非常推荐。 Highly recommended this guesthouse. The room has magnificent view of Wangfenglin range of mountain, it is tastefully design, clean and comfortable room. The front desk (both 小戴) are very helpful, helping us arranging our trip, transportation etc. it is also very convenient to visit other attraction area and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is also very delicious, every morning the chef 小吳 will greet me and asked me what would i like and bring me the breakfast, you can have your breakfast at the beautiful dining area at the back or the veranda in the garden .

This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Qianxinan. Room 02 offers an absolutely stunning view. Waking up to the motorized curtains slowly opening, revealing the surrounded mountains of Wanfeng Lake outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, was like a vibrant landscape painting. I've stayed in many sea view and mountain view rooms, but this scene of mountains encircling and a turquoise lake partially visible is truly one-of-a-kind. Additionally, although there weren't many staff members, the two young ladies at the front desk provided service that was as meticulous and thoughtful as any five-star hotel. Our entire stay was very enjoyable. Finally, I have to commend the owner of Fengxi for their incredible vision in securing such a prime location – truly impressive! 👍

This guesthouse experience was absolutely fantastic! First, I loved the room layout, with floor-to-ceiling windows at both the front and back. Waking up to the surrounding green mountains in the morning was wonderful. The terrace was large with excellent views. If you have the budget, you should definitely stay for a few more days—it's so therapeutic! Second, the service was incredibly attentive. The staff helped with our luggage, made sure we had breakfast, introduced the sights, and were very welcoming. Third, the hotel facilities were comprehensive, with welcome fruit, complimentary drinks, coffee, and even a latte made with fresh milk. These two nights were the best nights I slept in Guizhou, mainly because the bedding was superb. The pillows were from Atour Planet, and my partner, who snores every night, only had such supportive pillows that he slept very quietly 😂. The only downside was the number of mosquitoes, but that's a common problem with guesthouses. Oh well, we were close to nature!

I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

Five-star review! 👍 The Fenglin Stilt House Homestay was a fantastic experience. The stilt houses are very unique, and the peak forest view outside the window is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful and serene environment. The owner's service was incredibly reliable; after checking out, I left my earphones behind, and they proactively helped me ship them to my next hotel. Their sense of responsibility is truly commendable. Our family had a very comfortable stay, and I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

The guesthouse has a great location, almost at the end of a road, offering a quiet and secluded spot. Parking is convenient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They charge a 100 RMB cleaning fee for bringing a small dog, which is definitely pet-friendly. The guesthouse's own Labrador, Xiao Ye, is also adorable. We stayed in the Purple Cabinet and the Lesser Room; the Purple Cabinet was more spacious, airy, and comfortable, so we extended our stay for another night. The only slightly frustrating thing was that the guesthouse sold a 398 RMB dry pot beef dish, which we later discovered was actually served at the Ding Su restaurant, just 500 meters away, where the same beef costs only 70 RMB…

Came here with my kids for spring break, and the front desk gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was an amazing experience! The environment is top-notch, and the room's decor is incredibly stylish. The automatic toilet and Dyson hairdryer made it feel just like home. The most delightful touch was the fresh floral arrangements placed daily; even though they weren't expensive flowers, you could tell they were the freshest, homegrown by the hotel itself. Breakfast was also excellent. Definitely a hotel worth staying at.

This is a guesthouse located in a picturesque scenic area. The yard is planted with beautiful bougainvillea, making it lovely and comfortable, and there's also a cute and well-behaved kitten. The female boss was warm, friendly and kind. We met by chance during an evening walk, and she accompanied me on walks in the countryside at dusk for two consecutive days. I was very grateful for her hospitality. Her staff are all dedicated and friendly; they'll readily help if you need anything. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

100% Genuine Review! Traveling with family, we booked this hotel because of its great location! It absolutely exceeded our expectations! Such a great price for summer vacation is incredible! The night market downstairs is so convenient. Some people say it's noisy, but I didn't find it noisy at all and slept very well. I would definitely recommend it to friends. For just over 100 yuan, breakfast is included, and there are so many places to eat, drink, and have fun downstairs – what more could you ask for! Definitely a great hotel!
