The Post Oak Hotel was amazing! My unforgettable Post Oak experience started with checking in with Miss Gabby. The Post Oak Hotel professionalism makes this 5 star hotel different from your everyday hotel. Post Oak Concierge Rubin was a pleasure to speak with regarding my dining options. Lunch at Bloom & Bee delicious. Shelby was my waitress. The food & cocktails were delicious. I sat poolside relaxing without one concern. Emma made sure I had everything I needed poolside, towels, cocktails, shaded area along with water, what more can I say. And my high floor room views of Houston Texas downtown, comfy bed, state of the art TV’s, plush bathroom wrapped in Marble with luxurious chandelier’s and the most needed lighting for pictures and videos. Some of my room goodies, Electronic coffee maker, TV’s that rises up from a cabinet, nightstands with dim lighting, remote controls from a apple tablet, desk & cozy couch, luxurious soap & hand lotions, marble soaking jet tub and If I needed anything more, I could ring my personal butler. Great Service, Lovely Breakfast — but Room Noise and In-Room Dining Could Improve I recently stayed at the Thompson Houston and overall had a great experience, especially thanks to the excellent service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcomed, and I was touched when they surprised me with a graduation cake — a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated. The hotel breakfast was a highlight. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and once again, the service stood out. Dining in the morning felt like a treat thanks to the welcoming atmosphere. That said, there were a few downsides that affected my stay. The room was quite noisy, even late into the night. It was hard to relax or fall asleep with the amount of outside noise coming through. Also, I ordered in-room dining on two occasions. On the first day, everything was great. However, the next day the fries were noticeably soggier, the salad was just a bowl of greens with six tiny avocado cubes, and — most concerning — the aioli on the side looked like it had already been used. Overall, Thompson Houston left a positive impression on me, mostly due to its exceptional staff and quality breakfast. I hope they can improve the soundproofing and ensure consistency in their in-room dining service.

We stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old. The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one. The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed. The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I was a bit disappointed with the amenities, particularly the weight room. The weight room was small and outdated, with limited equipment and not well-maintained. As someone who enjoys working out during my travels, I found the lack of quality fitness facilities to be a downside. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay at the hotel due to its other positive attributes. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the room service was prompt and efficient. If the hotel could invest in upgrading their weight room and fitness facilities, it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. I would consider staying here again in the future, but hope to see improvements in this area.”

A very good hotel, clean, well-equipped, and reasonably priced. There are many restaurants and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The only thing is that the parking fee of $50 is more expensive. Facilities: good Health: good Good environment good service

The staff really made the experience above and beyond. We expected a very basic stay, the room and shower/bathroom was extremely clean. The check in/reception was really 100% amazing through and through. They make you feel right at home. Will book here again if needed in the future.

An incredibly healing and worthwhile stay that I'd revisit countless times! I specifically chose this hotel for my trip, and my expectations were completely exceeded after checking in! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and proactively offered assistance. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and they patiently answered all my questions about local attractions, even providing a thoughtful local guide card. I immediately felt a strong sense of genuine hospitality. The room I booked was surprisingly clean and tidy. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, feeling like I was sinking into a cloud. The soundproofing was excellent; I heard absolutely no outside noise at night, allowing me to get a peaceful night's sleep after a long day. The room was fully equipped with everything I needed: a smart toilet, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an HD TV. The bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply was stable with just the right temperature. The toiletries had a subtle, pleasant scent and felt of good quality. The hotel breakfast was a fantastic surprise! The variety was extensive, with Chinese congee, noodles, Western bread and coffee, fresh fruit, and exquisite desserts – everything you could wish for. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, providing a truly satisfying energy boost. In the evening, sitting on the hotel terrace, enjoying the breeze and the city nightscape with a special drink recommended by the front desk, was incredibly relaxing. The location is also superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, surrounded by numerous shopping malls and restaurants, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. During check-out, the staff even proactively asked about my stay experience, and these thoughtful details made me feel especially welcome. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this hotel is an excellent choice. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit!

The room was clean but there was a leak and the wifi was very weak in rm 109 the young lady on duty was VERY helpful and nice.

We I got to my room the smell was so strong, the streets were stained. The were roachs not as many as my last visit shower curtain was dirty. But the service clerk was very professional and nice.
