"Leonardo Club was the perfect Dead Sea trip! When we needed to change our room because of neighbors who smoked, Tamar handled it politely and immediately. Shlomit called us several times to make sure we were happy. We have never gotten the attention that Shlomit gave us from any hotel! Shlomit also recommended the "wet trail" hike at Nachal Bokek. It was great and it was free. Shlomit also recommended a hike to "Zohar Fortress." What a beautiful and historic place! Also free. The food was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean. The workers were pleasant and polite. We couldn't ask for more."

"I would like to share my negative experience of staying at the Royal Hotel at the Dead Sea. This experience left me deeply disappointed and I believe it is important to share this information. First of all, the living conditions in this hotel were far from what one would expect from a place that calls itself "Royal". The room was not only outdated, but also in poor condition, with furniture that seemed old and worn out. The plumbing also left much to be desired and we encountered water supply problems. Another disappointment was the service. The staff at the Royal Hotel seemed unprofessional and uninterested in the needs of the guests. Requests were slow to complete and we had to be reminded multiple times. In addition, the quality of food in the hotel restaurant also left much to be desired. The food was of average quality and the selection quite limited. But perhaps the biggest disappointment was the state of the infrastructure. The pool and spa were in poor condition, with equipment in need of repair and updating. Overall, my experience at the Royal Dead Sea Hotel was far from what one would expect from a luxury holiday. I would recommend considering other accommodation options before choosing this hotel."

"It was an overall good, even excellent experience, except for supper. There a great quantity of different foods, but the QUALITY of the food was totally lacking. This was Herods. We were expecting a wonderful culinary experience, but instead we got ordinary, even let's say disappointing. The food was simply NOT TASTY. All the meat dishes were overcooked and dry. All in all, it was NOT worth the 400 shekels that we had to pay for this not-tasty dinner."

"!!! We really enjoyed the two days at the hotel !!!The service is kind and fast (a fault with the TV was fixed within 5 minutes...), the breakfasts are amazing with plenty of food and all the dishes are extremely delicious . The shower is not well built (the entire floor area is completely wet...) but the rest of the room is wonderful. The cultural evening (a performance by the "Hebrew Negroes" was extremely exciting (we danced until we were exhausted...), although the second evening was weak in comparison."

"The room environment, service, and facilities were all quite good. The hotel has a great location, right across the street from the most famous free public beach on the Dead Sea (Hymboge). If you want to float in the Dead Sea, you can change into your swimsuit at the hotel beforehand and just cross the street. There are free showers on the beach so you can shower after you float."

"Our family have been visiting this magical place for the past ten years. So what a huge surprise and shock this weekend when we walked into the dining hall. Clearly the food budget has been slashed and what was on offer was bland and tasteless. As opposed to the days when everything was exquisite, just like the beautiful surroundings. And the chef would come round greeting us and so proud of the delicious food on offer. Considering that the prices for half board are the same, the kibbutz should at least have a proper chef to give the food some proper flavor. Come on! Please get your act together and lets hopefully look forward to a next visit to witness the vast improvements you must put in place. Not just the food. The Spa also needs urgent repairs. Some steps in the seawater pool are broken for instance"
