"It’s a really great place to stay. It takes approximately 15 minutes to the bus station by foot. The facilities are cool. I had a quite spacious room with spectacular view on the mountains. Breakfast is with good selection and food is yummy. The only disadvantage is for three day stay the room wasn’t cleaned and a trash bean wasn’t cleaned either. Nevertheless I liked staying there and I would exactly recommend this place."

"Very good hotel to stay here in Zakopane and visit the Mount Tatra area. Very cozy room, nice service by gently and polite people, very good breakfast. Inside parking available. Even the inside restaurant is very good just in case you wanna dine here. The hotel is not close to the city center but is well connected by bus to eventually go everywhere. Enjoy your stay !"

"Excellent hotel. The staff is so-so. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room with windows overlooking the playground! ))) But we love this hotel!!! We had a birthday party and didn't get any birthday wishes... Overall, it seems like the hotel hasn't developed over the past few years, but has been deteriorating... such a shame! We truly loved it... will we come back again?! I don't know... more likely no than yes."

Hotel Skalny

"I stayed at Hotel Skalny for 2 nights in May while on a motorbike trip. Room was large and spacious and reasonably modern. The hotel is a fair bit from the main centre with not much round about. I struggled to find any restaurants within walking distance , that were open. I tried the hotel restaurant - which served a buffet meal - but was disappointed with the lack of choice - this may have been because the hotel was quiet with very few guests. Unfortunately although it was late May, the weather was very poor, with temperatures as low as 4C with rain and some snow in the mountains, which put a bit of a damper on the bike trip"

Rysy Boutique Hotel

"The hotel is branded as a 5-star facility, but in reality it is far from that standard. At best, it is a solid 3-star hotel, and if one is being generous, possibly a low 4-star. The location is excellent, which is the hotel’s strongest point. The common facilities are acceptable but nothing exceptional or close to what one would expect from a 5-star property. The room itself was just OK, but again, not at a 5-star level. The pillows were clearly worn, the bed sheets looked tired and used, and overall the room did not feel properly clean. We also found a sock from a previous guest under the bed, which is unacceptable at any level, let alone a hotel claiming five stars. Breakfast was disappointing and definitely not 5-star quality—more in line with a mid-range 3-star hotel. That said, the restaurant staff were polite and friendly, which is appreciated. Similarly, at reception we were greeted by a very kind and welcoming lady, which was a positive note. In summary: great location, average facilities, below-par cleanliness, and a price that does not match the standard offered. For this cost, I would choose another hotel that actually meets true 5-star expectations, or at least comes close to them."

Hotel Gromada Zakopane

"The rooms are on the small side and there are few electrical outlets. There's also no kettle, hairdryer, or refrigerator. We did have clean linens and fresh towels every day. We weren't bothered by the sports café. There's also no cozy lounge, and you can drink in the sports bar. There are plenty of nice places in town for a drink. The breakfast, on the other hand, is really delicious and very extensive."

"The hotel looks like it was during the communist era, so you can feel the old atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, you can take as much as you want. Parking is free, and the price includes free access to the Zakopane Thermal Baths. Everything was great, and the views of the Tatra Mountains and Skywater are stunning."
