Aequora Lanzarote Suites ★★★★
"The room was always clean and the staff were always attentive and helpful. The hotel is close to everything. I recommend it."
Bakour Lanzarote Splash ★★★★
"Just returned from one week at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, the rooms were amazing. We were in a 2bedroom at the back of the complex overlooking the splash pool. Was lovely sitting out on balcony in the evening enjoying a quiet drink although many ground floor apartments don't have the level of privacy we did. They are modern and the showers are fab. The next biggest plus was the animation team, I can't think of his name but the guy with the mustache and dreads, he puts his heart and soul into entertaining the kids and is very thoughtful and considerate particularly with kids that were shy and found it hard to join in. He is a real asset to the hotel. The food was hit and miss. If you found something you could eat, it nearly always tasted fresh and incredible but we found ourselves as a group trying to avoid eating here. We went next door to Lidl for pastries at breakfast and ate out for dinner and availed of the snack bar for lunch. There seems to be one guy trying to manage everything behind the counter so at times there were huge queues for a fried egg or an omelette. If you want to avoid the wait times you could go earlier but I wish they would give this guy some back up. We spoke to some guests who had been there over previous years and the said they felt the numbers of staff had reduced. Maybe this is what it wrong here they are short staffed but it definitely made us avoid the dining room. Also just personal preference but didn't like having to go down into that very warm space for every mealtime, not sure what the hotel can do about that as it's on a small enough footprint but would have been nice to have option to eat meals above ground too, outside of the pool snack bar which has been commented on already in previous posts. Agree this guy doesn't come across the friendliest, I never found him rude, but in fairness he is stuck inside this tiny corner unit on his own with hot pans and cookers etc for hours. And wait times for a quick poolside snack were sometimes up to 40 minutes. The entertainment in the evening wasn't great. It largely happens in this small space above reception and the heat can be stifling. Mostly just standing space as seating is very limited. It was just enough to entertain our 4-7 year old group but they honestly preferred just running around outside with other kids. The final piece I want to write about is the biggest reason we would not return here. On the Sunday we arrived very soon after a very tragic incident which saw a couple lose their 4 year old child. Firstly I want to say how heartbroken I am for them and secondly I want to say how disappointed I was in the hotel for not acknowledging what had happened somehow. The very least could have been a minutes silence on the weeks anniversary, or a closing of that one pool for a day but nothing, it just felt like business as usual yet you could feel this dark cloud, it was palpable at times. We saw the lifeguards patroling around but spoke to so man"
Vik Hotel San Antonio ★★★★
"The location of the hotel was fantastic its in puerto del carmen but it borders los pocillos. We were in room 4724 great room with sea views. Overlooking the pools we were spoilt with that room. It was a comfort room the bed was a super king and very comfortable. Small fridge in room.We were glad of the fridge to keep drinks and snacks. I just love to have a sea view to watch all the boats etc. We watched late morning to late afternoon. We could also see arrecife from the balcony beautiful scenery we have never stayed in that area before. It was great different area to look round. The massive beach at los pocillos that goes right round the bay to matagorda beautiful. So spacious not crowded very chilled. We just chilled and relaxing. Not as busy as playa grande beach, though I do like playa grande. Plenty more people and children can get quite busy. It's a good vibe friendly people. The atmosphere everybody enjoying their break in the sun. Chill on a lounger and read my book. No just fit in where there is room. We go for a walk and call for a drink. Yes lots of lovely bars restaurants onlong the way. La Gruta was our place to go for coffee. Friendly staff good vibes. They also do food and cocktails. We always walk the length of the promenade good views. Looking out to sea watching boats and planes. Excellent viewing so many different things to see. Not really seen it all many times still spectacular. The cleanliness was excellent rooms done every day. Great towels and bedding. We never go disturbed by noise in hotel really quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel it is beautiful. No nothing at all. The staff were great from arriving to leaving exceptional."
Hotel Las Costas ★★★★
"The room has a floor-to-ceiling sliding door, no windows, poor sound insulation"
Hotel Lava Beach ★★★★★
"Great service❤️"
Hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote - All Inclusive ★★★★
"Location… Directly out of the back gate across the road is the beach. Matagorda to the left, Puerto Del Carmen to the right. Lots of shops snd entertainment. Close to the airport so a short transfer. Hotel staff are fantastic, always helpful and rooms and grounds are lovely and clean. They are a credit to the hotel. Rooms… we had a double room and a family room. Double room good, bathroom with hairdryer, shaver point, free shower gel and shampoo. Balcony, kettle with supplies. Wardrobe. Family room not as good. Living area with double sofa bed, tv, kettle with supplies, coffee table, wardrobe, long mirror. Separate Bedroom with wardrobe, tv, aircon unit and ceiling fan. The issue for us was no aircon in the living area. It was hot and it was uncomfortable for the person sleeping in living area on the sofa bed. Bathroom with shower, free shampoo and bodywash, hairdryer, shaver point. Restaurant… nice food, good selection. Main restaurant, 2 speciality restaurants which you can book at reception or on the Riu App. 2 pool bars serving snacks, burgers, hotdogs etc. Bar in reception open 24hrs, can also grab a burger or hotdog. Pools…. 2 big pools, the one near reception is the busiest it has the activity team. A quieter one over the other side of hotel. We did manage to get a sunbed at the quieter pool but usual towels on sunbeds early! The quieter pool has 2 sections and they did allow people to throw a small ball in one side of it so everyone happy. 2 tennis courts, basketball/football court, volleyball. 2 table tennis tables, pool table. Lots of other activities run by the activity team. Shop, small gym. Courtesy room… you can book a courtesy room if you have a late flight. You book at reception and get a 30 min slot, there are 2 showers in each room, they get very hot! Luggage room to store luggage. We would definitely stay again if booking a double room but would not stay again in a family room due to there being no aircon or fan in the living area as it was an uncomfortable sleep."
Seaside Los Jameos ★★★★
"Best 4 star hotel!! Initially we were worried about an all inclusive 4 star hotel. What if services, food, drink and entertainment aren’t good, we will be stuck! However, they changed our mind the minute we got there. As I approached the counter, they welcomed us and said they would check if our room was ready. Although it’s not, they took our bags for us and gave us a card (which allowed us to go and have lunch without extra cost) so we could start enjoying our time at the hotel. The room was clean and we loved the deco. We loved the attention to detail too! You can tell a lot of thoughts have gone into the design of the room. We love the food there too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day we were there. Apart from the usual kids’ favourite, the main dishes were different at every meal every day. I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked fish and paellas; and the Halloween themed night meal. The animación team was excellent. They were very good with my kids. My youngest was a bit shy to start with at the kids club. One of the staff gave her a lot of special attention to help her settle in. The evening entertainment was better than expected too. We really enjoyed the acrobat show. It’s not exactly BGT standard but it’s definitely entertaining enough to keep all of us happy. It’s also 10 mins away by car from the airport. We actually took the bus on the way there. It cost 1.40 eur per person and it stopped right opposite the hotel. On the way back, taxi cost 13-15eur. We also love that there is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel. It’s so thoughtful that there is a shower and towels right next to the gate so you could clean your feet before getting back to the hotel. If there’s anything to complain about, I would say the steam room wasn’t working during my stay!"
Aqua Suites ★★★★
"This is a really beautiful hotel with great amenities. The staff are fantastic - particularly the reception staff - Sebastian was very helpful as well as being welcoming and professional. The food was excellent- we ate in every night and not only e joyed the varied menu but also had fun with the staff. Matias, Virginia, Steffy, Chelsea and Christina made our dining experience so much mote enjoyable. We will definitely be returning."
Hotel Lanzarote Village ★★★★
"The hotel is a few minutes' drive from the airport and about half an hour from various attractions. Free parking is available, which is quite convenient. The hotel rooms are fairly large, but the facilities are a bit old."

Hotel Pocillos Playa, Solo Adultos
"Loved our stay, came with my Dad and partner. Aida the entertainment leader was honestly a ray of sunshine and great at cracking jokes, very approachable and making us feel at ease- thanks for the karaoke and bingo prizes!! Room was lovely size and slept well every night, shower/bath good too. Having a jacuzzi is a great touch to the hotel, great to jump in after lounging near the pool Buffet food was pretty good and changed every night so had a good variety Credit to Jorge on bar too, great service and chill Loved using the game room, me and my partner got addicted to ping pong The hotel is also quite accessible with a lift down to dinner and rooms not requiring stairs, was really helpful for my dad to have this. Would definitely come back here if I’m back in Lanzarote, perfect sized and vibed hotel"
Gloria Izaro Club Hotel
"Really smart and clean resort, very well maintained. Spacious accommodation and staff on duty 24hrs if you need anything. Only downsides were that despite good range of buffet food, it wasn’t very warm which spoilt enjoyment a bit. Also music being played around the pool was unnecessary and just stopped you from reading! I’m not sure there was anyone there who needed or wanted to listen to someone else’s choice of loud music. However we’d definitely return to the hotel"

Hotel Cesar Lanzarote
"This is a beautiful place to stay. It was our first time in Lanzarote; we hired a car as we'd intended to explore the island, but the hotel was so lovely we only ventured out on one day of our six-day trip. There are only 20 rooms, and we felt like we were staying in a large house with few people (in a good way!). There's much that is wonderful, and a few minor things that could be improved. The hotel and pool and grounds are beautiful, designer-led, thought-through and easy to use. There was some trouble with sun-shades while we were there - the wind was too strong for the sun-shades and was breaking them. This is obviously an issue that needs resolving, as despite the wind the sun was strong. The staff moved a sun umbrella for us, and were as helpful as possible and we were grateful for this. The pool is lovely, a real pleasure. It was cool and refreshing. Several days there were no pool towels available by the pool (the shelves were empty), and it would have been nice to be able to get a dry towel occasionally. The restaurant staff were attentive for drinks/lunch orders while you were relaxing by the pool. Our room was terrific - particularly the bathroom, a fantastic shower and lovely products - but the terrace was a real disappointment. It was very public and exposed, there was a sunbed but no table/chairs to sit and have a drink, and we spent no time there. The room was also warmer than was ideal despite the ceiling fan. If we return - which we hope to do - we would go for a room without a terrace and with air conditioning (some of the rooms have this). The bed was possibly the most comfortable I've ever encountered (I wish I'd asked for the brand of the mattress). Considering all this good, and the thought that has clearly gone into making the rooms so comfortable, the pillows were something of a mystery. They were incredibly soft and very lumpy and really out of keeping with everything else. Housekeeping was ok, but they forgot to leave coffee pods (which were brought when we asked, thanks for that), and then removed the two extra we'd been given the next day (which seemed oddly mean, given how generous the staff were); they forgot to leave pool towels; they moved some of our things for no reason at all. It would have been nice, in a beautiful place like this, to have had some kind of turn-down service, but there was none. But these are small points, and the room was lovely and a pleasure to occupy. Breakfast was wonderful - a great buffet, plus the option of cooked extras (mainly eggs). The omelettes were superb. There was an issue with flies on the buffet which needs resolving. It was a bit odd that you could order eggs benedict or a 'bikini' (ham and cheese toasted sandwich) but would be charged extra for these, though everything else was included. We didn't really understand the logic of this. But breakfast was a pleasure each morning. We had dinner in the restaurant each night. The staff were a delight, and although the menu wa"
Relaxia Olivina
"Great place we had a superior room the only fault with that we had to unplug the phone which we didnt need to plug our extension in we hired a kettle and had to boil the kettle in the bedroom food was great only other thing was the fizzy drinks from the pumps 70% of the time flat"
Villas Alondra
"We can not recommend Alondras Villas enough. Our stay was absolutely brilliant. The quiet/peaceful surroundings while still being a 10-15 minute walk to the old town was just right. Our Villa (Number 27) & Pool were clean. The Reception/Cleaning/Bar & Pool Staff were all very friendly & very helpful. We are already looking to return very soon. Thanks for making our holiday one to remember."
Hotel THB Flora
"The hotel was lovely, location great. The room was spotlessly clean. We did not eat but had a drink at the pool bar which was lovely."
Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa
"As a plane spotter, this is an absolutely incredible place. The view is amazing, the staff are incredible. We will definitely be back!"
Hyde Park Lane
"The hotel and grounds are very well kept. Our bungalow was clean and quite spacious. The beds were comfortable. We were half board and the food was very good. The pool was a decent enough size and there were enough sun loungers in low season. We like the hot tub which is a bit hidden away in a corner of the pool area. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes. We went on an excursion to Teguise market and the cesar manrique foundation, and spent another day at Rancho Texas, which was great. We enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't return, as we prefer to be in the main Puerto del Carmen area, where it's more lively with nicer beaches. I particularly like the harbour end with it's beautiful cove beaches."
