The staff were very friendly and helpful. To access the site from Twizel you would need a car."

"On a self-drive trip from Mount Cook towards Queenstown, we chose this motel for our overnight stay. Parking was convenient and check-in was a breeze. They took a 200 NZD deposit per room per night and even gave us fresh milk. The room facilities were incredibly new and spacious, and it even had a backyard (though not enclosed, so accessible to others). The washer-dryer combo was very convenient to use. There's also a large supermarket about 300 meters away."

"We booked 3 months in advance. On the day of check-in, we found that there were no rooms available and the price had increased. It might be related to the weekend. Overall, it was OK. The breakfast was very good. The nearby Pukaki Lake is very big and beautiful. You can walk along the lake to Mount Cook. The small lake nearby is very beautiful. The lake water is like the water in Jiuzhaigou. There are many beautiful mushrooms in the forest."
