Greenwich Hotel

Greenwich Hotel ★★★

📍 Smolina Str. 65, Ulan-Ude

"It's within walking distance of the bus station and the Lenin statue. The room was quiet, clean, and tidy. The receptionist was warm and polite; he had lived and studied in Tianjin. He even gave us a small gift."

Men'Shikov' Mini-Hotel

Men'Shikov' Mini-Hotel ★★★

📍 Ulitsa Lenina, 24B, Ulan-Ude

"The location is superb!!! It's right on the pedestrian street in the city center, within walking distance of several nearby museums. There are supermarkets and souvenir shops on the pedestrian street, and restaurants, cafes, bookstores, and all sorts of other shops across the street—so convenient! The room was great, very clean, and nicely decorated. It felt quite new, not large but fully equipped. As you can see from the pictures, there are no windows, only a skylight, which makes it a bit more cost-effective. However, the skylight provides excellent natural light; it's up to you whether you can accept it. The downside is that the soundproofing isn't very good; you could hear people speaking Chinese next door… The pictures show a rather retro-looking restaurant, but when I went, they said it was closed. I don't know if it's closed during the off-season or permanently. You can reserve breakfast in advance at the front desk; it's inexpensive but there's no hot breakfast."

📍 Ulitsa Tsivileva, 33, Ulan-Ude

"The hotel is very convenient, located right next to the Ulan-Ude train station in the city center. It has heating, but be aware that you'll need to exchange currency when you arrive in Russia. It's conveniently located in the city center, and you can easily visit the area around Lenin Square. The hotel has public shower facilities and is very clean and hygienic. It also has rooms and a restaurant. I hope my check-in next week will be even smoother! Best wishes to the hotel!"

Reston Hotel&Spa

📍 Ulitsa Grazhdanskaya, 20, Respublika Buryatiya, Ulan-Ude

"The hotel has a strategic location; when checking in, the front desk took the trouble to introduce a lot of facilities and services inside the hotel with the help of translation software, and the attitude was friendly; the room was clean and tidy; there was also a restaurant on the top floor, and the breakfast and dinner were very good."

Khutorok Hotel

Khutorok Hotel ★★★

📍 Naberezhnaya ulitsa, 14, Ulan-Ude

"Very convenient location, parking for the car. In a pedestrian accessibility cafes, restaurants, coffee shops. Come on the weekend, leave the car on the parking and walk around the city. Rooms are equipped with everything necessary. Breakfast is satisfactory, 4 options. Bed clean, good quality. Service pleasant, all staff are kind"

Sibir Hotel
9.4 (5 reviews)

Sibir Hotel ★★★

📍 Pochtamtskaya st. 1, Ulan-Ude

"A great hotel in the city center, all the sights in step-by-step availability, public transport stop when you leave the hotel. Continental breakfast egg or cache for choice, tea, coffee, snacks, fruit, bread, butter, jam, vegetables. The restaurant did not work during my arrival, on the other hand in Buryatia is very praised, but it is expensive and I will not say that very good kitchen, it is better to go down to Arbat and on the way to see something else. In the room itself is cozy, clean, quiet, beautiful view. If necessary The teapot needs to be asked. I am happy with staying, I recommend."

Ulan Hotel

"It's a shame we were fooled by the photos and booked this hotel. It's surprising there are so many good reviews... We arrived tired from another city, so we didn't see everything right away. The hotel is of very low quality, from the exterior and interior to the girl at reception. There's a smoky smell upon entering (even though there's a "no smoking" sign in the room). The only thing that makes it a junior suite is the large room size. The photos don't match reality. Here we go: there are no tables or armchairs, just a sofa by the door with a lousy bedspread and one table by the wall. The chair has dirty upholstery, covered in stains. The bed has broken slats, the springs are sticking out, everything creaks. The bedding is dirty!! The bedspread on the back is all covered in white stains... I'm afraid to imagine what caused it... The windows overlook the courtyard, on the first floor, so it's a shame someone got in. Very uncomfortable, thank goodness there are curtains. The shower stall is old, dirty, and rusty, with a bunch of wires from the water heater hanging overhead—I hope it doesn't electrocute anyone. There are two large towels, none for hands or feet. The towel rack is terribly rusty, it's scary to even look at. There's trash under the bed. There was no promised breakfast; upon checkout, we were told, "You should have let us know you wanted breakfast so we could prepare it, but it's served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m." For that price, like any decent hotel, breakfast is negotiated upon check-in, either with coupons, or at least there should be information somewhere about when and how it's served. We finally went to bed—there's a long drive home tomorrow. The hotel administrator talked terribly loudly on the phone until late, even on speakerphone; you could hear everyone and all their swearing. Plus, the kids were running around and screaming. After 11 a.m., like clockwork, everything finally stopped. The girl probably thinks it's okay to be noisy before 11, especially in her hotel. But people come to relax (not everyone goes to bed until after 11), and hotels are supposed to be quiet at all times. Basically, they ruined the whole mood and impression of the trip."

Reston Hotel&Spa ★★★★
"A good hotel for stopping on mission and with family. Of the cool, there is a full-fledged gym available for hotel guests absolutely free, it is a full-fledged gym, not just a fitness room.  Excellent spa zone on minus the first floor, Finnish sauna, good hamm, but it is necessary to manage until 23: 00.  I would like to mark delicious breakfasts, especially I liked the creamy cream. I thought the owner himself had breakfast in his hotel, this is a great indicator. There is a parking in the yard of the hotel, a little unclear how it is protected, but the slugbaum is open in the afternoon. The staff is friendly and competent. I'll stay at this hotel again next time"

Khutorok Hotel ★★★
"Stopped for one night in a three-bedroom suite. Filling room is perfect! Air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave, teapot, 2 TV, safe, table, chairs, full-size mirror. Renovation and plumbing are tired but clean. The mattresses are comfortable, bed linen and towels are clean. There are coats, toothbrushes, shower gel/sampoule. The only inconvenience for us was the lack of clothes hooks in the bathroom. More precisely, they are all located directly above the bathroom. You will take a shower and a bedroom. Near the hotel is a Griliage restaurant, the music there is dumping up to 2 nights, unfortunately heard. The hotel itself was quiet at night. There is a cooler with drinking water on the floor. The hotel recommends that the price-quality ratio is quite consistent."

Sibir Hotel ★★★
"Excellent hotel. Customer-oriented, responsive, kind. The room is excellent, clean, towels changed every day, all the necessary toilet facilities are available. Water was placed in the room daily by the number of people. Breakfasts are full, no one will remain hungry. Ask for early settlement, everything was organized. Thank you to the staff and the owner of the hotel for the pleasant time!"
