Royal Beach ★★★
Golden Tulip Varna ★★★★
"The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the hotel provides lots more amenities.. the best part is the proximity to the central tourist locations of Varna… just a walk away are a plethora of restaurants.."
Hotel Palitra ★★★
"The hotel is clean very good location and the service is great.thanks"
Park Hotel Perla ★★★
"Currently here and it’s one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The food is awful and with 3 children from 14-7 we have eaten out most evenings. Chicken and pork is the constant on the menu, puddings are not even worth a taste. Staff are rude, hotel is dated. Sunbeds are plenty which is about the only plus. Pool bar isn’t included in the all inclusive. I would strongly suggest paying a bit extra and going and staying somewhere you can at least have a decent dining experience!"
Ibis Styles Golden Sands Roomer Hotel ★★★★
"I was booked as a ALL Platinum end of September. I'm not a big fan of the all-inclusive places you find around here, but my trip was just to come to play some golf. Sadly, received an email 2 weeks ahead of my stay the they were closing earlier and they couldn't host me. Nikolai took great care of doing everything possible to please me in relocating me and yes, to a more luxurious and expensive property at their own cost. I know the Ibis Styles is a new property. And sadly, I couldn't experience it. But the way management took care of the issue and treated me like royalty make me want to thanks them for everything they did."
Ventura Boutique Hotel ★★★
"I really liked it, the room was clean, cleaned every day, the room is dark, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, breakfasts are good, you have to order what to take care of and the quantity, but for me it was sufficient, the service was very nice, helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, there are shops and bars, unfortunately in bars you pay in cash. The beach is close, you can get to the center by bus almost from the hotel about 20-30 minutes. To the airport about 50 minutes with 1 change in the center."
Primorski Hotel ★★★
"I don't understand the hotel's good reviews. The breakfast is a disaster and not sufficient. We've had the same four choices for three days now. The rooms are okay, but our mattress was defective, and I slept on springs. When I reported it, they just smiled. For the price, you can definitely get better deals in the area. The area is a nice walk to the sea, and the passage is also beautifully designed. But unfortunately, this isn't enough—once and never again."
Ensana Aquahouse ★★★★★
"Super as usual"
International House of Journalists Resort ★★★
"The price-performance ratio is absolutely OK. Although the hotel has come somewhat into the years, the price is fit for it. The dinner was varied, with daily changed main dishes, even though the base remained similar. The breakfast was largely the same, but completely enough and overall good."

Apart Hotel Golden Line
"Very nice vibe and drinks 🥰 love the animation team, they play nice games. Gabi, Gabi, Eli, Alex, Svetlio are the best 🔝"
Hotel Amfora
"I only stayed here for 3 nights last summer but it was a lovely place - very comfortable and friendly in particular the owner George who was very helpful. The pool is gorgeous and the weather was also lovely in the August time that I stayed."
International Hotel Casino & Tower Suites
"Structure in the center of Golden Sands convenient with everything. Good dinner, excellent breakfast!"
Hotel Lilia
"The staff were horrible, they had a sign in the restaurant saying it closed at 22:00, but one night while we where there, we arrived at the restaurant at 21:45 expecting it to be open but turns out they were packing up all the food, we didn't like the food but only wanted a snack (pancakes and bread). Another restaurant staff was texting his mate and eating all the sausages and eggs, helping himself Infront of customers It's supposed to have free Wi-Fi but there's actually little blind spots around the room, like the toilet, and the living room. The restaurant manager followed me around the restaurant because I had some orange juice in my hand (it was supposed to be 3 lev.) So when I got back to my table my mum gave it back (like she can even pour it back into the machine). Who even pays for juice, that's crazy. The pool next to the hotel was cool I liked it. Do NOT go here. -Olly"
Villa Chinka by Astor Garden Hotel - Adults Only
"Beautiful place with amazing staff and cool chilled atmosphere, the place has the right balance between chic and relaxed, the owners made amazing job by keeping the place familial and at the same time professional, they sent a cake for my partner’s birthday which was a nice and thoughtful, the food in all the restaurants is outstanding and the staff will do anything to make the customer happy, the restaurant next door more is also amazing and is a must try."
Astor Garden Hotel
"The hotel is very good, I spent many times in this hotel. The location, the room, the property, the staff, the food, the spa, the parking, the pools are great except one thing: the water in the biggest pool in front of the hotel which is very cold . It is a big pool but it's impossible to use it because the water is very cold."
The Palace Hotel, Sunny Day
"A very pleasant place to relax! The hotel is cozy, and the spa area really impressed me – the sauna with a sea view and the salt room were amazing. The atmosphere is calm, and you can truly unwind. Also, the pizza at the beach restaurant was incredible! 🍕 I recommend the Capricciosa, but keep in mind the restaurant closes at 6:00 PM, so don’t miss it."
Melia Grand Hermitage
"The hotel and its grounds are lovely especially as we upgraded to "The Level" where guests have their our own private swimming pool area, restaurant and private bar. The grounds round our swimming pool were lovely, with plenty of sunbeds available. It is a bit of a game if you are a sunworshipper to keep moving sunbeds as the large trees give lots of shade as the sun moves across the sky - not a problem for us though! The hotel is very big, but the staff seems to be efficient, but some clearly lacked motivation, and some were much more friendly than others. Our 8th floor room was lovely and we had a fantastic view over the main swimming pool and the sea. The maid kept the room neat and tidy and the shower was one of the best I have ever had on holiday. Unfortunately what lets the hotel down is the food: Whilst the choice is plentiful, unless you arrive exactly as new food is put out at best it will be luke warm. There were hot plates and heating lamps but these just did not keep food warm. We did not eat lunch but this was certainly the case for breakfast and dinner and I did not eat a single vegetable all holiday as they were cold. Unfortunately the 3 a-la-carte restaurants had the same problem and eating in these restaurants was simply not special. This could be easily alleviated if the chiefs continually kept coking and trays of food were topped up regularly. We, also, did not see in the restaurants anyone who appeared to be in charge who could ensure that things were running smoothly. The poor food meant that out of 12 dinners we had in the hotel we ate out 5 times."
Hotel Slavey - All Inclusive
"Kalo was great! He really smashed it at the gangnam style yesterday. I didnt expect this from him since hes quite a big boy but i know he will accomplish great things in his life if he keeps it up with the gangnam style. Great animation."
Havana Hotel - All Inclusive
"It is horror , First Mai rude, to our words turns and accuses us , that is not taking the situation . Far from the sea basin is cold , food is uniform. Intere no tv does not work too in the wifi room does not catch the Hotel is not worth your attention"
Arena Mar Hotel and Spa
"This hotel is overcrowded, which in itself isn't a problem, but as a result, the service is inadequate. The cleanliness of the rooms and especially the bedding is downright substandard. We had sheets with stains. The breakfast was very basic, and the coffee was undrinkable. Fortunately, there was an option for us to spend the time elsewhere."
Hotel Excelsior - All Inclusive
"It was good overall, apart from the fact that elevators at some point were not working which was making it hard and 2 days in a row cleaning stuff forgot to put shower gel. Animation stuff was brilliant."
Azalia Beach Hotel Balneo & Spa
"One of our best family holiday. Close to the airport, close to bus to the Varna city center and also to Zlate pisky. Yet, the location is much calmer and with relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is just on the beach with enough sunbeds for everyone. The pool with two water slides is big enough and just next to the beach bar with all-day drinks and snacks. Our room was located on 2nd floor, so no elevator issues. For a family of 4, the room size is sufficient. I liked the comfy beds and sea view with fresh air and therefore no need for a/c (btw every room has a view of the sea). The best part is the cuisine. Very good choice of meals, salads, fruit and desserts. Not at all the same every day as was mentioned here previously. I really recommend this hotel."
Prestige Deluxe Hotel Aquapark Club - All Inclusive
"We booked this hotel because it was one of the top-rated in Golden Sands, and we read that the food here was supposed to be really good. We just arrived 60 minutes ago, or rather, we were allowed to check in and use the facilities an hour ago. We arrived at 12:00, with five excited children. One of them was a bit sick. We expected that we could simply store our luggage and use the facilities (pool, snack bar, etc.). That was absolutely not an option. We had to wait in the lobby, and if we were hungry or thirsty, we could buy lunch in the restaurant or drinks at the bar… We were NOT allowed to go down to the pool and wait for our room to be ready. In general, the tone is quite unpleasant and inhospitable. No service. No smiles. Just a feeling of being a burden. Too bad—especially for our kids who could hardly wait to swim. We took a walk around the area and got something to eat. When we returned, our child's condition had worsened, and we were seriously considering seeking medical attention—but fortunately, he got better. Even then, it was not possible to get our room or something to drink for him. We finally got to our rooms, which are very nice. No complaints there. But the overall impression of the hotel is VERY worn and very old. At most, 2 stars. We went to get pool towels, only to find out that they were closed and wouldn’t open for another 45 minutes. So we went to the snack bar. The pizzas were fine, but the fries tasted like they were from the day before. There was a small room with cakes, which I do not recommend entering. The cakes were INEDIBLE and extremely salty. When we went to order drinks, perhaps the biggest “game changer” of all came. It is NOT possible to order light/diet drinks with our All-Inclusive package. We were told we could pay for them at the main bar… We did NOT see that coming. We have traveled A LOT and stayed at many All-Inclusive hotels in many countries—this we have never experienced. Are we not in 2024? And what about people with diabetes? We got some water and a drink. The drink was undrinkable, and the water tasted like chlorine and salt… When we finally got to the pool, the kids were happy. However, the lifeguard was sitting quite unmotivated, blowing his whistle, and looking at his phone… All in all, a very disappointing start. We have never complained before or written a bad review, even when we have been dissatisfied. But unfortunately, this just surpasses everything we have experienced—and all in just a few hours… What a disappointment!"
StayFlex by Helios - All Inclusive
"Cool hotel not far from the sea, 5 minutes walk. The friendliest staff, delicious food, and a large pool on the territory with two slides. The child is very happy. Special thanks to the bartender Svyatoslav for delicious drinks and the animators for their approach to children. Will definitely come back to them again"
Astera Hotel & Spa with Free Private Beach
"A wonderful experience at Astera Hotel! The animation was top-notch, and I would like to give special thanks to the animator Hristiyana, who took great care of entertaining all the guests. Her professionalism and infectious energy made our stay even more enjoyable. The program was diverse and suited both children and adults. I would definitely return again!"
