Avignon Grand Hotel

Avignon Grand Hotel

📍 34 Bd Saint-Roch, Avignon

"the room is big enough has its own living area, top location near the train station, very beautiful garden view, super friendly and helpful stuff."

Hôtel Le Cloître Saint Louis

Hôtel Le Cloître Saint Louis

📍 20 Rue du Portail Boquier, Avignon
★★★★ 8.4 (135 reviews)

"It has a castle, monastery, church, and restaurant! The facilities are also very modern, making it a truly fantastic experience. I would definitely come again! I suggest using navigation to avoid the parking lot; the main entrance is closer, only 200 meters from the bus stop!"

Best Western Sevan Parc Hotel

Best Western Sevan Parc Hotel

📍 914 Rte de la Bastidonne, Pertuis
★★★★ 8.6 (44 reviews)

"This is not a hotel to stay at if you want to sleep. At night they have a DJ in the garden until 1am, it’s unbelievably loud and impossible to sleep. Lots of people politely asked them to turn the music down so we could sleep but they refused and said by law they were allowed to play loud music until 11pm. The grounds are lovely and the hotel is nice but don’t stay here if you want a peaceful stay and to sleep."

Mas des Herbes Blanches Hôtel & Spa – Relais & Châteaux

Mas des Herbes Blanches Hôtel & Spa – Relais & Châteaux

📍 Rte de Murs, Joucas
★★★★★ 8.9 (75 reviews)

"DO NOT STAY HERE. My backpack got searched for in my room while I was out during my stay there last week and someone stole a pair of very expensive sunglasses. NO ONE from the hotel or Relais & Chateaux has responded to my emails or taken any responsibility. It is incredible that something like this happened in a so-called luxury hotel. This experience is beyond disappointing and frustrating."

Hotel La Mere Germaine

Hotel La Mere Germaine

📍 3 Rue Joseph Ducos, Chateauneuf-du-Pape
★★★★ 8.9 (54 reviews)

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel La Mère Germaine for our first stop on our honeymoon. When the hotel staff learned that it was our honeymoon, they went out of their way to make our stay even more special. The staff and service at the hotel was wonderful. The hotel is in a beautiful spot with a gorgeous view and breakfast was lovely. We did not have lunch or dinner at the restaurant but it smelled delicious. Would definitely stay at the hotel again."

Hotel d'Europe Hotels in Vaucluse

Hotel d'Europe

"The hotel was generally very nice, with a convenient location and a retro feel. However, it seems to be quite old; the air conditioning was a bit noisy at night, and the safe was reported for repair but no one came to fix it."

La Mirande Hotels in Vaucluse

La Mirande

"Beautiful, poorly managed hotel with a very good location directly opposite the exit from the Pope's Palace. The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the nicest we have stayed in in Europe. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the price of the night. We spent two nights here, had to look for employees several times each evening to be able to place our orders in the bar and then had to deal with unfriendly and unmotivated employees. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and hotel category - miserable. The rooms and old sofas in the bar are worth a visit, however. The selection at breakfast is just adequate if you can get past the chic presentation of the buffet, and the quality is not remarkable either. The breakfast room, however, is again impressive and atmospheric. The hotel is overrun with tourists from outside the area for the daily afternoon tea, so if you're lucky you can get a table as a hotel guest, but then on both days there was only a limited selection of the cake menu, as everything was already sold out and not just at a late hour. And here too you can wait forever for unfriendly service! The rooms were very well maintained, and the chambermaids were friendly and helpful. We wouldn't recommend staying more than one night here, but it's good for a visit to the Pope's Palace. Make sure you ask for the route map before you arrive, it's very helpful and absolutely necessary for the narrow one-way streets in the old town! But it makes getting there easy."

Hotel les Bories & Spa Hotels in Vaucluse

Hotel les Bories & Spa

"This five-star hotel is located in the mountains of Stone Town. The facilities are excellent, including two swimming pools and excellent service from the staff. There is also a spa and free parking."

Le Phébus & Spa – Relais & Châteaux Hotels in Vaucluse

Le Phébus & Spa – Relais & Châteaux

"One of the best places we stayed in Provence! We were in a lovely Suite with our very own pool. The property is beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable. We never felt "crowded" since they have a limited number of rooms. The spa services were very good and the spa itself, was very enjoyable. We eat once on the property at Le Café de la Fontaine, which was excellent! Highly recommend this place! If you have the time, be sure to stay there at least 3 or more days. You'll thank me later."

Hotel Crillon le Brave Hotels in Vaucluse

Hotel Crillon le Brave

"Our wonderful trip to northern Provence was grounded in our stay at the truly spectacular Hotel Crillon-le-Brave. The hotel staff were all kind, informative, and every interaction projected superior hospitality. The hotel environment was charming and pastoral and was a relaxing backdrop to the outstanding views of Mont Ventoux, it's countryside, vineyards, hikers and cyclists. The amenities were incredibly comfortable, the food outstanding, and the proximity to the sites and culture of Provence was terrific. We certainly plan to return to this special place."

Vacanceole - Residence les Demeures du Ventoux Hotels in Vaucluse

Vacanceole - Residence les Demeures du Ventoux

"Great location for visiting the area by car or bike; substantial & refreshing pool for a hot day; super plantings of provencal flowers and grasses on the site; the sound of the wind in the cedars at the edge of the site was magical. We weren't on a cycling break but I imagine it would be perfect for that. Some refreshment of fixtures/fitting would improve the score further. "

Bastide Saint-Didier

"Richard and Jasmine run an incredibly charming bed and breakfast here. They are both warm and kind and could not be more hospitable. The nearby village of Saint Didier is quaint and has a nice market if you are around for it. A great home base for exploring the area or just relaxing and absorbing Provence."

Residhotel Golf Grand Avignon Hotels in Vaucluse

Residhotel Golf Grand Avignon

"This was a fantastic location to stay close to Avignon, but with easy parking and spacious rooms. It is secured at night with closed gates, and the rooms look over the golf course. The host at reception was welcoming and helpful and the rooms were spacious, and well laid out. They are a little tired in terms of decor, which shows in places like the tile grout and wear on benchtops, but it was inexpensive, clean and excellent value for money. I recommend it and would book it again."

Chateau de Mazan Handwritten Collection Hotels in Vaucluse

Chateau de Mazan Handwritten Collection

"A very unique hotel a bit outside Avignon and close to Gordes with very kind and friendly staff. It#s worth there to stay and I believe especially during summer time it's even more great. The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful park with a large outdoor swimming pool. We hope to come back sometime."

Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa Hotels in Vaucluse

Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa

"Our stay at the Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa was the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. After a long day of travel, the hotel’s sleek, contemporary atmosphere felt like a breath of fresh air. The highlight was definitely the spa facilities. Having access to a pool and sauna right on-site allowed us to truly unwind and recharge. The room itself was impressively spacious and quiet, ensuring a deep and peaceful night's sleep despite being so close to the transport hub. We wrapped up our stay with a delicious breakfast in their bright, airy dining area. The quality of the coffee and the selection of artisanal breads and cheeses were top-notch. It is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a touch of luxury and ease during their journey through Provence."

Terre de Provence Hôtel & Spa Hotels in Vaucluse

Terre de Provence Hôtel & Spa

"The overall environment is very good. The hotel is not big, but all the details are well done. The daily cleaning is also timely, and the room is cleaned very cleanly and meticulously. The hotel's restaurant is a local private chef, providing breakfast and dinner every day, and the taste is also very good. There is a white-haired female manager wearing glasses, who is very enthusiastic. When the meal is almost over, the chef will come out to greet everyone and ask about the taste of the dishes. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the family room we booked. The double bed upstairs is very comfortable, but the sofa bed downstairs is not flat when opened, and it is very uncomfortable to sleep. The child and mother slept upstairs, and I didn't sleep well downstairs alone for three nights."

"A truly wonderful B&B boutique hotel in Avignon. Walkable to the city center with many shops and great restaurants. The private enclosed gardens are lovely - with many seating opportunities to relax and drink a glass of wine or coffee. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with many wonderful options. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. Highly recommend!!!"

Le Clos Violette d'Aglaé Hotels in Vaucluse

Le Clos Violette d'Aglaé

"The staff at this property was so amazing. Especially Julien. He was beyond helpful on 2 specific occasions. He got on my phone and helped our Uber driver find the hotel. He also helped us move to another room. The property itself is in two buildings and is just lovely. Nice sitting areas, garden and breakfast room. Breakfast starts at 8am. If you wake up earlier someone is usually there to at least make you coffee. Our original room 7 did not work well for us. The bathroom had a toilet, sink and shower stall in one long line along the wall with 2 sliding glass doors. The problem for us was privacy and light. It was difficult to close the sliding door when in the toilet and using the sink. The other concern we had was the light through the glass at night while others were sleeping. Julien helped us move to another room which had a separate bathroom. Photos of both rooms attached. Overall I would highly recommend this property. Centrally located."

Ibis Cavaillon Luberon Hotels in Vaucluse

Ibis Cavaillon Luberon

"Hotel reserved for business travel. Practical because in the activity zone and easy to access off the highway. Good breakfast. Small downside poor sound insulation the people above arrived late and we can hear the footsteps with their shoes. You can also hear the doors of the other rooms slamming when they close. It wakes you up"

Hostellerie le Beffroi Hotels in Vaucluse

Hostellerie le Beffroi

"Stayed for one night and it is situated right up in the old town near the chateau not down in the actual main town area. It was good with creative original artwork of action superheros or similar themes in the corridors and our room. Some other unique artwork in the courtyard supporting local artists. Our double room was good, quiet, clean and on the second level (no lift). Restaurant wasn’t open so no opinion and there were good options nearby. Breakfast was good value."

Hôtel Le Cloître Saint Louis ★★★★
"Very good intramuros location for visiting Avignon. Very beautiful building located 4 minutes walk from Avignon Center train station and 11 minutes walk from the Palais des Papes. Good bedding. Welcome swimming pool. We changed rooms 3 times, air conditioning breakdown at 35°...too many stairs. Bathrooms much too small with bathtub even in upgraded rooms. Faded paintwork in the rooms. No one at the bar during our week-long stay. Elevators often broken down. Lack of attention to outdated personal breakfast. I think this hotel deserves 3*** and not 4**** as indicated."

Best Western Sevan Parc Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel is a little like a present beautifully wrapped by a relative. All shiny paper and bows, but when you in fact open it you have a pair of the plain blue socks. What do I mean by that? Well, if you were to lose the beautiful and well thought out decor, the chic plant pots and the well pruned palm trees you are infact left with no more than a 3 star ( despite it being 4) practical road side hotel. That said, The reception lady was very warm and welcoming, so she deserves a mention. The rooms were ok, nothing special, clean, practical. The bar service however was terrible, you go and order a coffee/ wine etc; it comes to you eventually ( 36 mins I timed for a bottle of water) but then the cups are left all day for the wasps to gather. There is a gym, but I use the term loosely as there are no weights, just a few cardio machines. The restaurant is as popular with the locals as with the hotel goers. It is a gastronomic restaurant, so be prepared for the price tag to match, but very good. However we ate there only once for the experience. Up the road is a wonderful pizzeria with a wood fire and provence wine in half litre jugs for 6 euros so I would recommend you wander there instead. The pool was clean and warm, but ball games were not prohibited, which was causing some issues for some of the people around who were trying to get some peace. I think with this hotel, it depends how much you pay and how closely you look. I would come back because it had what I needed for a couple of nights. However, I wouldn't make it my holiday destination at all. If you look at it from a practical sense then it's fine. But if you want a bit of luxury and service for an extended time maybe look elsewhere."

"Staff was extremely friendly and helpful--hats off to Pierre, Cammille and Ludy. Location was right in the middle of the tiny village Chateauneuf-du-Pape, easy walking to the nearby restaurants and the Chateau, and easy drives to vineyards, Avignon, Pont du Gare etc. Our room was good size and very nicely appointed. Hôtel Mercure Cavaillon ★★★★
"This establishment is a shame: dirty room and the staff are rude. My room was not cleaned, the carpet was stained, I found a DEAD fly in the drinks fridge, the bathtub was moldy on an area of 6cm by 1cm and the radiator next to the toilet was stained with brown marks. It's disgusting! in the morning, I complained about the state of the room: a young man at reception laughed at my remarks, and didn't even apologize! I asked to see the director, but she was absent. The young man's colleague (55 year old woman, blonde), ignoring the rules of politeness, told me that the carpet was stained, but that people were satisfied with the rooms! I paid €265.65: it’s extortion! This hotel is not worthy of being a Mercure!"
