"We were in Pittsburgh for a concert, and downtown hotels were fully booked and expensive, so we chose this hotel within a 30-minute drive. There was ample private free parking, breakfast included, and the room was beautifully decorated and very clean. It met our needs perfectly. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hosts, Joan and Brian, were very warm and welcoming. We also took time to visit the Pittsburgh National Aviary. Our room had a shared bathroom, but if you prefer, you can opt for a private bathroom. Other than that, the experience was perfect. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"If you are there for the casino, you can’t get much closer (see picture). The property is old and dated-looking on the outside. Some of the interior doors show rust around the edges, and you can just tell by the carpet in the hallways and rooms that the place has been there a long time. The lobby is nice though, and they keep it and the rooms clean. Our room was spacious and looked pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the famous DoubleTree cookies were not available which was a letdown."

"The room is very large and the bathroom is very large. The equipment is not new but fortunately the health is OK. Free parking spaces are also sufficient. Breakfast is not too much from 6 to 9 o'clock, the road is still cost-effective!"
