"At 3:19 PM on May 22, 2026, having just finished the first round of negotiations with my partner, I dragged my 24-inch suitcase, covered in airline baggage tags, into the pre-booked business hotel. The lobby had gleaming light gray marble countertops, and a faint scent of white tea filled the air. Check-in was efficient; I received my room key in less than three minutes by swiping my ID. Upon entering the room, the first thing that caught my eye was a floor-to-ceiling window offering a panoramic view of the city's central business district. Beige desks and chairs were placed by the window, with a notebook bearing the hotel logo and a retractable pen already laid out on the desk. A built-in charging port for laptops was conveniently located under the built-in desk. A smart panel by the bedside allowed for one-touch adjustment of lighting and curtains. The bathroom featured a well-designed wet and dry separation; a disposable shaving kit and mouthwash were provided alongside the customized toiletries. The overall environment was clean and practical, perfectly suited to my work needs for the next three days of my business trip."
