Yijin Meiyi Hotel (Yichang Binjiang Park CBD Shopping Center) ★★★★
"The hotel's front desk service was excellent! They were very patient when I asked about local attractions. The hotel is in a great downtown location, just a short walk to Jiefang Road. It has a parking lot and charging stations, which is super convenient for self-driving. Across the street, there are tons of snack shops with really nice food, perfect for us late risers. I'll definitely book here again next time!"
Holiday Inn Express YICHANG RIVERSIDE by IHG ★★★★
"The river view is beautiful! The Holiday Inn Express in Yichang is very clean and the environment is great! The room has good air circulation, and the in-room amenities are excellent and well-stocked! Especially at night, the scenery outside the hotel entrance is truly stunning! Taking a stroll along the river and enjoying the evening breeze this season is so relaxing!"
Manbo Meiyi Qingju Hotel (Yichang Shuiyuecheng Branch) ★★
"Nice environment, good service attitude"
Juneyao International Hotel ★★★★★
"I traveled to Yichang during the summer holiday, and the hotel's location was excellent, surrounded by delicious food. It was perfect for exploring and eating. The hotel service was also great, and the two parking attendants were very warm-hearted. They immediately arranged a spot for us to park once our car was fully charged."
Jiangshang Homestay (Yichang Three Gorges Tourist Center Wanda Plaza Branch) ★★
"The hygiene, environment, and location are all excellent, making it a great value for money. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. We booked this hotel mainly because we had an early start for a Two Gorges, One Dam day trip the next day, and it's super convenient as it's only a three to five-minute walk to the meeting point. However, parking was a major issue. If you park in the Wanda Plaza B2 parking lot, it's 60 yuan per day max, and the hotel doesn't offer any subsidies. Plus, the elevator is hard to find, and the hotel didn't provide clear instructions initially. We ended up parking in the outdoor parking lot of the Three Gorges Tourist Center, which was 40 yuan max."
Ease Hotel · Zhi (Yichang Three Gorges Visitor Center Binjiang Wanda) ★★★★
"This hotel in Yichang was very cozy. Every staff member was enthusiastic and provided excellent service. They even called ahead to ask if I was driving and sent me the parking location for Wanda, which was only a few minutes' walk away. The room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly."
Homeinn Ease Hotel (Yichang East Railway Station) ★★
"Had a comfortable stay! It's super convenient being close to the East Station Passenger Transport Center. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, and the cleaning auntie did a great job keeping everything spotless. Thumbs up!"
North Station Star Hotel ★★★
"The treasure hotel dug up on the last night in Yichang, because I had to catch the high-speed rail the next day, I chose a one close to the North Station. I forgot to take pictures. It is definitely the same as the promotional pictures. It is clean and tidy. The whole house is smart. The mattress is also comfortable. The room is spacious and fully equipped. The bathroom, sink, shower room are independent. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor, which can be dried directly. The service is very warm. The boss is waiting in the lobby at 6 o'clock in the morning. The breakfast has Yichang special red oil buns. It is delicious to make up for the regret that I almost can't eat this time. The braised beef noodles are also delicious. The real beef, when the boss personally sent it to the high-speed rail station, It is 10 minutes drive from the high-speed rail station. We take a taxi from here to the Three Gorges Waterfall for less than half an hour. It is highly recommended 👍👍👍"
Shuiyunlan Hotel ★★★★
"I was on a business trip and brought my child along. Before coming, I'd read online that Yichang is a warm and welcoming tourist city, so I arrived with high expectations. All the staff at the hotel's front desk were very enthusiastic, and the room was also very clean. I especially want to thank our Didi driver; as soon as we got in the car, he asked how we were enjoying Yichang. My child was very touched and said they'd love to come back again if given the chance!"

Yichang A'er Baogeli Hotel
"My overall experience staying at this hotel was very satisfying. The hotel environment is excellent, and the views are absolutely beautiful. The smart room control system is incredibly convenient, and the room itself is bright and airy with great natural light. The hotel breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of choices. Five-star rating!"
Wyndham Grand Yichang Riverside
"Overall, my stay had both good and bad aspects. The hotel front desk service was both professional and attentive. The 34th-floor lobby offered an incredible view. The check-in process was warm and meticulous, with staff demonstrating a gentle and polite attitude. They proactively informed me about breakfast, the pool, the best viewing areas, and even the optimal time to watch the sunset over the Yangtze River. Any questions I had were patiently answered, showing consistent high-quality service throughout. Special shout-outs to concierge Garbo and Zoe, who were incredibly professional and explained everything in detail, even sharing their own landscape photos. The bellboy Wensen was very polite and enthusiastic, taking my luggage directly to the room. After checking out, I specifically left a thank-you letter for them in the room. The Deluxe King City View Room was very spacious with a well-organized and open layout. The large glass windows offered expansive views, allowing me to enjoy the city's twilight blue hour in the evening, with city lights beautifully scattered, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was spotlessly clean; the floors and bathroom corners were meticulously maintained. The bedding was soft and fluffy, and the pillows were just right. The soundproofing was excellent; I barely heard any traffic or hallway noise, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the toiletries were high-quality and amply stocked. All drinks and snacks in the minibar were complimentary, showing thoughtful attention to detail. The breakfast buffet offered a rich and comprehensive selection, including Chinese hot dishes, freshly cooked noodles, Western pastries, and fresh fruit beverages. Local specialties were also available. The ingredients were fresh, and dishes were replenished quickly. The dining environment was generally quiet and clean. Staff circulated constantly to clear tables, ensuring no shortages. The window seats offered soft light, making for a relaxed and pleasant dining experience with city views. The lobby bar had an elegant ambiance with soft, non-glaring lighting and comfortable sofas, perfect for a short rest or business discussions. The server, Jane, proactively asked about drink preferences and recommended local specialty teas. A cup of Poria and Sour Jujube Seed Tea in the afternoon was particularly helpful for me as it aids in calming and sleep. The cloud lights and rose rabbit sculptures in the lobby, especially under a black-and-white filter, enhanced the artistic atmosphere. The open-plan design of the lobby bar seamlessly connected with the front desk and lounge areas, maintaining both a sense of openness and privacy. Now for the areas that could be improved. The breakfast buffet staff sometimes lacked proper judgment. After I finished eating and was about to use my phone for a bit before continuing, a staff member cleared my empty plate without asking. I expected them to replace it with a clean one, but no staff member did, forcing me to get new utensils for subsequent servings, which disrupted my dining flow and was quite uncomfortable. This was especially noticeable the next day when the service was clearly different; Xanthe actually *asked* if I was finished, unlike the other staff member who just cleared the plate without a word. The two breakfast experiences were completely different. The basic welcome amenities were not consistently provided. From check-in until check-out the next day, I received neither a welcome fruit platter nor any dining vouchers. I even asked in the morning if a fruit platter was available, and the front desk staff said they would order one immediately. However, it never arrived by check-out, with the excuse being that another department failed to deliver it. Compared to the amenities provided to guests in other room types at the same price point, I found this clear differential treatment unacceptable. There was a noticeable disparity in service, and the attention to detail was not up to standard. This lowered my overall stay experience and highlights a need for standardized service and improved staff service philosophy. Despite these minor disappointments, I'm still willing to give a high rating due to the professionalism and warmth shown by the front desk and concierge team. After checking out, I specifically left a handwritten letter saying, "From the moment I entered, every service made me feel at ease." Especially the line, "Where the heart finds peace is home; here tonight, forget the frost," which truly reflects my experience. I hope the hotel sees this letter and maintains this reassuring level of service while promptly addressing any management shortcomings. As a consumer, I believe good aspects should be maintained, and poor ones should be improved—that's a fundamental principle. Once the service details are perfected, allowing both facilities and service quality to be consistently excellent, I believe that after rectifying and refining these details, the hotel will truly exhibit the complete quality expected of a five-star hotel, offering guests a flawless, comfortable, and smooth stay experience. It will surely gain more guest loyalty and recognition and become the top recommendation for accommodation in Yichang."
The Westin Yichang
"I come to Yichang for business every month and wanted to try staying at the Westin. After breakfast, I returned to my room, but the key card wasn't working. For a new hotel with new facilities, this shouldn't happen, which was a bit disappointing. All four pillows were very soft, and there wasn't a slightly firmer option. Personally, I don't sleep well on overly soft pillows, so they should offer a variety. The overall environment is quite good, and the river view from the room is also excellent. The hotel's exterior is very iconic. Breakfast was refined but had fewer options. Regarding service: I checked in on the 29th, and the two ladies at the front desk provided excellent service. When my takeout order arrived, I wasn't familiar with where to pick it up, and they kindly showed me the way, all with a smile. Their emotional support was top-notch. Even when they were checking in other guests, they patiently answered my questions while continuing their work. I am a man, but the TV in my room displayed a welcome message for a 'Ms.' While on a business trip, I was a bit tired, and seeing 'Ms.' actually made me smile and relax a bit, but such a small error shouldn't occur. The price is a bit on the higher side."
Grand Mercure Yichang Waitan (Opening November 2023)
"Great location, newly renovated. (The rest seems to be a poetic, unrelated commentary that doesn't pertain to the hotel itself, so it's best to omit it for a hotel review translation)."
Banshan Hotel
"It was located in a very convenient area for the highlight tourists spots in Yichang. It is also a good value for money. The hotel staffs were all very helpful and friendly trying their best to communicate with me since I am unable to speak Mandarin well."
Le Méridien Yichang Sanxia
"This is a brand new hotel; I only found out at check-in that it opened this June. I've always stayed at Le Méridien for my travels, and I really like their decor style, and this time was no exception. Compared to other first and second-tier cities, the Le Méridien in Yichang offers incredible value for money. The infinity pool directly faces the Gezhouba Dam, offering a fantastic view. Plus, when I booked, the hotel provided a free car rental service. A special shout-out to Fia, the concierge from the car rental team, who gave a very detailed explanation. I rented a BMW, and since it was a new car, its condition was far superior to what you'd find on platforms like Shenzhou. It was incredibly comfortable to drive. All in all, a very satisfying trip!"
Guiji Homestay (Yichang Three Gorges Home Scenic Area)
"Stellar service from a really conscientious host - 10/10! The food she cooked was delicious, especially the handmade dumplings for breakfast. The location is perfect with her inn situated on a ledge overlooking the Yangtze. She drove us to the Three Gorges Dam one morning and did all she could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible from start to finish. We’re lucky to have stayed here!"
Yichang Three Gorges International RV Camp
"The room service is very good! The front desk lady is also very gentle! The room is very cute and very photogenic! The accommodation experience is also very good 👌 I will stay here again next time and I like it very much!"
Ease Hotel · Zhi (Yichang Huoche Dongzhan )
"This stay was a great experience. The room is clean and hygienic, and the fully intelligent equipment is easy to control, bringing great convenience. The service staff at the front desk No. 02 and 08 are patient, enthusiastic and highly professional. Breakfast is a highlight, with high quality, fresh ingredients and rich variety. High quality is demonstrated in all aspects, which is really satisfactory and worth recommending."
Vienna International Hotel (Yichang East Railway Station Passenger Transport Center)
"It's clean and hygienic. The service is very good. It has just opened. The facilities and equipment are very new. The environment is quiet and elegant. There is a small garden in the back. I live on the 25th floor. The view is so refreshing. The air conditioner is turned on in advance when the temperature is high. The service is good and hygienic. The facilities are good and the environment is good. Breakfast is also free. This is the only comfortable place in Yichang this time, so I will write more and recommend it. Facilities: Very good five stars Hygiene: very good five stars Environment: very good five stars Service: Very good five stars"
Great Wall Hotel (Yichang CBD Shopping Center Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street Branch)
"Good location and comfortable stay"
Lavande Hotel · Yichang East Station Chengdong Avenue Hotel
"The hotel has a great ambiance; everything is well-maintained and there are no unpleasant odors. The bathrooms are spotless, amenities are plentiful, and requests are handled promptly. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay."
Manbo Zhis Hotel (Wuyi Square Riverside Branch)
"We are arrived and got a wrong building, so we need to order another didi. For foreigner need to make sure copy paste address since there is same hotel (only different S). While we arrived electricity was off (I just know it after I saw message on trip 🫠) Since we come on summer and that was hot, I ask a room so we can take a bath instead of waiting until 5pm. Room was okay. Water-heater still works without electric. My friend found pack of used cond** on floor 🫠 But overall staff service was great. Location closed from Bus station. And amap not really works here. In Trip they mention only need 400m to Binjiang Park, but on amap, takes 3km even more."
ECHENG Hotel (Yichang Three Gorges Visitor Center Wanda Plaza Branch)
"The room was fine but there were two big problems, first being that it’s directly next to the highway and also that it’s not noise proof at all. I could hear my neighbours talking as if they were next to me and they left the TV going all night and I could barely sleep, although it may have improved my Chinese level lol"
Fanjü 1790 Urban Homestay
"This riverside designer B&B is fantastic! The lobby is stylish, and the rooms boast 180° floor-to-ceiling windows with direct river views – absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. They even provide Luckin Coffee drip bags, which was such a thoughtful touch; enjoying a cup while admiring the river view just filled me with happiness. The bedding is soft linen, and the facilities are smart, showing incredible attention to detail. Definitely my top choice for accommodation in Yichang!"
Riverside No.1 Hotel
"The hotel's location is excellent. It's right across the street from Binjiang Park, and nearby you'll find Er Malu, a historical architectural street, and Taozhu Road, a food street. The hotel upgraded me to a river view room, and opening the curtains revealed a stunning view of the Yangtze River. The room was clean and well-maintained. The only minor drawback was that the desk and nightstands in the room were a bit dated."
