Jiangkou Hotels with Balcony

A few days before arrival, I requested contact via wechat through Trip.com and got a response from the B & B. From our first contact, the B & B was so helpful in answering my queries and putting my mind at rest. They recommended getting a taxi or DIDI from the train station. I used the DIDI App and took a DIDI  from the station to the B & B. It took us an hour 20 minutes and I was in constant communication with the B & B. Upon arrival, a male staff (feels like the owner) approached to greet me and take my luggage. The B & B had a very calm atmosphere as you walk through the serene garden and the pool on the right hand side. The B & B only opened last year (2025) and it looks very stylish and modern with clean lines. The male staff who greeted me when I first arrived was very helpful throughout my stay and we communicated mostly by wechat. His son was also very adorable who hung out in the lobby. Breakfast was simple but filling and it came with the room I stayed in. I would highly recommend this B & B as it is the best in the area and just looking around would support that.

This hotel is really close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain, and the owner is super nice, offering shuttle service between the hotel and the scenic area. The room was clean, and the surroundings were very quiet. My only minor gripes were that the air conditioner was a bit noisy and the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was a bowl of rice noodles and a steamed bun, which was decent. We also had lunch at the hotel, and the sour soup beef was delicious and a generous portion. All in all, it was a pretty good stay.

Over the years, I've mostly opted for B&Bs when traveling. So, when I saw the spacious, stylish, and comfortable common areas at Huanlin, I was truly surprised. For a B&B, such amenities feel quite luxurious. The room itself is large with simple decor, comfortable bedding, and a full set of disposable toiletries. It also features smart home appliances throughout. Everything was pretty much perfect, except for the bathroom door not having a lock. The B&B is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute walk from the scenic area entrance and the visitor center. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. After our visit to Fanjing Mountain the next day, she even proactively helped us arrange transport to Tongren, cut us some watermelon, and invited us to share their homemade lunch. Beyond her excellent customer service, she was constantly busy with renovations for the outdoor space in the backyard. It's clear she's put a lot of heart into running this B&B, and I believe she'll bring even more wonderful improvements to Huanlin Courtyard.

This guesthouse has an excellent location, very close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain. The room was spacious and clean, and the large bed was super comfortable for sleeping. The soundproofing in the room is great; even when people in the opposite room were talking loudly and I could hear their voices clearly in the hallway, I couldn't hear a thing once inside my room. The owners are very hardworking; not only do they run the guesthouse, but you can also eat meals there. Their handsome son is incredibly diligent; whenever there are guests dining, he helps serve food and clear tables. I felt terrible when I accidentally cracked a toothbrush cup badly, but the owners both immediately said it was fine and even offered me a new one, refusing to let me pay for it. Thank you so much! 🌹🌹🌹

Our stay at Longting Courtyard was truly the biggest highlight of our Fanjingshan trip! We stayed in the Mu Xun Suite, and the room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable mattress and excellent amenities. It was quiet and cozy for a good night's sleep! ❤️ What deserves the most praise are the owners. The husband and wife are incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely kind. Even before we arrived, they actively helped us secure Fanjingshan entrance tickets and shared a detailed guide for climbing the mountain, explaining what to watch out for and how to plan our route. They also provided shuttle service, saving us a lot of hassle with transportation. They patiently answered any questions we had along the way, always genuine and approachable, and replied to WeChat messages instantly. Since the guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, we were among the first group to go up the mountain and captured some truly stunning photos! Our entire experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Fanjingshan; I'll definitely stay here again next time!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised on my first trip here. I booked such a wonderful guesthouse right away. The owner was kind and friendly, and even helped me with my luggage. The courtyard layout was exactly what I wanted, and the cleanliness was also excellent. I would definitely come back again. It was a very satisfying experience!

Facilities: The facilities are decent; the hotel seems to have spent a lot of money on them. Cleanliness: The hotel is well-maintained; nothing particularly objectionable. Environment: The surrounding environment is quite beautiful, with mountains, water, and rivers, but there are no amenities nearby. There's practically nothing; it's just a small matcha town with no good restaurants. Frankly, it's a bit far from Fanjingshan Mountain, not suitable for independent travelers without a car. Service: The breakfast was terrible; there wasn't much to eat. I feel bad for the natural environment surrounding the hotel; I hope they can improve the amenities.

The room is very clean, the mattress is very soft and comfortable, and there is a neck pillow that is really comfortable, clean and tidy. Service: Very good, very thoughtful, very careful, 24-hour constant temperature hot water, stylish LCD TV, wireless Internet access, etc.,

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

The hillside guesthouse felt like a warm welcome home after a long, tiring day at work. Even before arriving, the owner contacted me to remind me to buy tickets, offering plenty of advice and hiking tips, along with transportation information. There was no need to plan anything here; everything was taken care of – food, accommodation, transportation, and entertainment. Upon arrival, the housekeeper warmly helped with our luggage, and the owner greeted us enthusiastically, like old friends even though we'd never met before. After check-in, we were immediately offered sparkling water, iced coffee, and welcome fruit. The air conditioning was already on, and the room was clean and hygienic, with a small courtyard for easy access. Breakfast wasn't as lavish as a hotel meal, but it was delicious: minced meat rice noodles, fried eggs, steamed corn bread, steamed corn, and millet cakes – the taste was unlike anything you'd find in a pre-made meal. They even packed up the leftovers for us to take hiking. After breakfast, the owner drove us to the scenic area in his Porsche. The scenic area was only 1 kilometer from the guesthouse, but he insisted on driving us there, saying parking would be inconvenient late at night. He also offered to pick us up on the way back, but we took a taxi – very convenient indeed. What surprised me most when we returned to the guesthouse after our hike was the foot bath tub they had provided. We sat in the pavilion, sipping tea and soaking our feet – it was incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends. Goodbye!
